[attr="class","appcontent2"]There are two clear sides of Damien though it hardly means he has a split personality really. One one side you have the loveable goof and regular comedian side. Always optimistic and ready to give advice to those in need whether they want it or not. He likes to focus on the upside to life and all the joys it has to offer a person supernatural or otherwise. He likes to pretend to be quite the casa nova when it comes to the ladies but he really is a one woman kind of guy and will commit to her to a fault loyal and faithful always. He makes it his absolute mission to make people smile and laugh because he believes laughter is the best medicine for a person in need. Behind this mask though lies the other side to Damien where all his fears lie festering. He hates to fail those in need especially when they need him the most. Though easy to make friends it is hard for him to trust them completely and let them fully into his life in fear of losing them the way he lost his former alpha and pack entrusted to him once he took over as Alpha from said former Alpha on his dying wish to entrust his legacy to him. He has a big irrational fear of fire which always brings up bad memories for him. The thing he seeks the most is a pack and one he can call family and a female to call his better half and partner in life so he doesn't feel so alone or afraid anymore.

History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Damien Staten was born to Marco Staten, his italian born father, and his wife Isabella Staten, his mother and a turned werewolf from Spain. The two met when his father happened upon her after a shift and instead of fearing her he took her in and nursed her back to health and the two became inseperable after that. As a child Damien was rather easy to deal with and hardly any trouble for his parents. He learned to walk as any child did and being a momma's boy until he was about five it was a great motivation to get him walking quickly enough so that he could track of his mother at all times which was hardly any issue since she usually took him in tow with her whenever she left out to go somewhere usually the marketplace. Around the age of five he outgrew his momma's boy phase and began spending more time with his older brother Manuel often nagging and bugging him about playing games like hide and seek or tag with him but usually always lost to him leading to a rivalry of sorts against his brother in order to impress him as he got older. It was around his tenth birthday that his younger sister Caroline was born who was the spitting image of their mother much like Manuel was whereas Damien began taking more after his father in looks.

It was when he turned twelve that he experienced his first shift during a full moon and learned the truth of what he truly was after it was over when his mother sat him down telling him all about her life as a werewolf living in Spain before she met his father and how it seemed he was the only child to inherit her curse genetically making him a werewolf born and therefore immortal. It was then his mother decided it was best he join a pack of other natural born werewolves living here in Italia to teach him how to better control his wolf during shifts and not lose himself entirely. His father refused to allow him to do so full time so only during the summer time could he go and live with this pack for his training. Initially he was against it himself but the though of hurting his family or friends was enough to drive him to better himself and so he went off with his mother to meet this pack. It was then he met the Alpha of the pack, a man named Regulus Stormcloud, an original and quite old one at that a rather crude and grungy looking man at times. He was welcomed by most but the Beta a female named Irisa who hated change and new members brought in without her consent but as always she allowed it submitting to the will of her father and Alpha of the pack. Still he had to earn his keep and as payment for his training was treated like the pup he was to them doing all the chores of the pack.

It was a big change for him becoming a werewolf like he did and affected his remaining school years quite a bit. He was forced to let those who would bully him or walk all over him because of how superior they felt to him because of their wealth so that he didn't rage out and shift suddenly resulting in innocents harmed or killed. Doing so would make him become feared as a monster and would be hunted down if he didn't flee the country and had no idea where he would go if he was forced to do so. Despite his best efforts fate seemed to be against him and one day he came home to find his mother dead murdered and his father dying himselfafter trying to defend her as she was targeted by hunters after his mother slipped up during her most recent full moon change. Outraged he lost control and transformed tearing through the city to find the hunters and soon enough he did finding them leaving the city and tore them to pieces. Having no family left to go back to his siblings gone missing now he returned to his pack after summoned when the Alpha decided it was time to leave before they were targeted as well. Surprisingly Damien found comfort in Irisa and the two became rather close and before not long lovers. Unable to return to Roma the pack headed northeast to Russia.

It was here that tragedy struck again before long. The dominant pack of the region they moved into didn't like their sudden and unannounced arrival and when his Alpha refused to leave at the request of the other Alpha even though other packs didn't mind the other Alpha decided to throw down a contract for hunters against their pack to eliminate them once and for all if they wouldn't go as commanded. When this failed the other Alpha pretended to call a truce and make amends but when he got the Alpha of Damien's pack alone he struck him down. Dying he begged Damien to kill him and seize his power in order to protect his pack even if it meant losing Irisa who might blame him for her father's death. As much as it pained him to do so the pack needed a leader and was his only family left so he did as commanded and killed Irisa's father which was witnessed by Irisa who then calling him a traitor not having heard the conversation before attacked him. Being an Alpha now she stood no chance against Damien was was defeated though he refused to kill her. Angry she refused to listen to him anymore and left to join the other pack. Damien was blamed for breaking the truce and forced to take the remainder of the pack with him left. Along the way to England where he wanted to visit the new colonies most of his pack broke off and went solo leaving him and two others alone. Once in the colonies the remaining two left as well to live in the wilds in solitude Damien agreeing to do so and avoided the cities once war against their mother country broke out.

Eventually there was no place to live alone and Damien was forced to come out into the open again during the rush west to settle all the new land granted to the United States during the Lousiana Purchase. When Civil War broke out he headed out to what become known as California to get a job mining trying to avoid war whatsoever feeling his kind should have no place in human wars. Once it was over and the gold rush seemed to die down somewhat he headed back east to New York. There he got a job in construction for awhile. When World War I broke out he got a job in a factory producing weapons for the war so he wouldn't have to go himself doing would raise too many questions why he never died when he should have so many times he'd become some kind of tool for the goverment if they found out or would want to dissect him probably. He managed to avoid any further wars by seeking refuge in Canada living in what later became Alaska once it susceded to the United States of America. After World War II was finally over and under his newest name Damien Wolf he returned to the states where he got a job working on bikes and once invented got into Underground Bike Racing where he was worked ever since after moving out to Las Vegas. It is here he hopes to find a sense of a pack a family and maybe finally a love to call his own like Irisa once more.
