Uriel

[attr="class","appcontent2"]Uriel was once like any other angel when first created by Mayaria that fateful day. Pure and Innocent he couldn't hurt a fly really. Even when the Angels were exiled along with those later to be called Demons, or angels corrupted by magik by the demi-gods, he still had this divinity about him always kind and sincere to his fellow angels and the fallen angels. Nothing made him happier than his tasks and duties protecting the Garden of Eden and the two special humans within it. That all changed that fateful day Lilith arrived rescued by Adam who had no idea she was an Angel or corrupted one at that. Like most he gave her the benefit of the doubt and allowed her to stay in the Garden even though it was probably against the rules he took pity on her at first and became a little infatuated with her. When Adam cast Lilith out for Eve he developed this bitterness towards Adam and resented him and when Lilith came to him begging for his help to teach Adam a lesson he allowed her to do so not really thinking she'd go so far as to tempt Eve to taste the forbidden fruit and have both be cast out proving he could be rather gullible at times. Everything changed when he was forcibly removed from the Garden by Dina leading him to develop a deep resentment towards his fellow angels filled by the lies Lilith constantly fed to him in the garden about how they'd betray him and grow jealous taking everything from him. He continued to play their stooge and do the duties assigned to him but it is only a ruse to help Lilith's cause as nothing matters more to him now than her and her cause call it obsession maybe but he blindly believes he loves the demon queen and that she truly loves him. When war broke out between demons and angels it did lead him to develop a sort of masochist streak and joy in killing demons or his fellow angels corrupted by their magik. He greatly despises and hates humans feeling they are emotion controlled leeches killing this world and that it would be better off without them but there is nothing and no one he hates more than Dina.

Once there existed only the Goddess Mayaria and the other deities she'd once resided with before she left to her own devices and solitude. In her first attempt to create her own life she brought into existance the Demi-Gods. Not satisfied that is when she took away Magik and created Angels more in her own image this time. This was the first generation to be created and from it Uriel was created among his many brothers and sisters. He was one of the lucky ones not to be corrupted by the Demi-Gods and their foul Magik. When exiled along with the rest of the Angels and corrupted ones by their mother the Goddess Mayaria he was taken in by his still pure brothers and sisters into the Silver Cross and found himself greatly honored with the task of protecting the Garden of Eden and Adam and was to keep out any potential threat that dared enter to harm Adam. It was a careless mistake he hadn't taken his eye off Adam long but he soon wondered off outside the Garden and soon returned with Lilith a corrupted Angel though not quite a demon yet so he gave her the benefit of the doubt despite the rules because he came to fancy her a little. This would soon prove to be his undoing and change his life forever for the worst. The two seemed so happy together but the more time passed Adam began to fight and bicker with Lilith and soon altogether pushed away Lilith after she attacked and wounded him accidentally least to him he believed it was that way which infuriated him to no end how could he treat such a beautiful creature like that. Then Adam had the nerve to exile Lilith from the Garden after the fight and that was when Eve came to be in the Garden and it maddened him how easily Adam replaced Lilith with her like that like she never meant anything to him. When Lilith returned begging to return to the Garden begging Uriel for his help in punishing Adam for his actions against her he allowed her to enter to do so but could've never expected she would tempt Eve to touch let alone eat the Forbidden Fruit. Doing so Uriel soon found his world crashing down around him as Dina arrived to exile Adam and Eve for their actions before disarming Uriel himself and exiling him as well forced to return to the Silver Cross and abandon Lilith. There he was punished for his actions and mistake before being reassigned to being a foot soldier and forever ridiculed by most for ruining the last piece of Paradise entrusted to them leading him to resent them deeply and believe everything Lilith had told him about them betraying him and setting him up steal his glory and title from him.

Angels and Demons War

Uriel had once been closest to Jophiel later known as Dina and was like a brother to her and her a sister to him always laughing and smiling in her company. After the Garden of Eden incident that all changed. Punished for his actions and failure he came to place most of his resentment and blame upon Jophiel. After that he avoided her like the plague and refused to see her anymore severing his bond with her entirely despite as much as it hurt him and probably her too. After that he became angry and bitter towards his fellow angels and took out his frustrations and anger on any Demon who was unlucky to come acorss his path. He didn't care if he was punished or not for it he figured one less demon to worry about for the Silver Cross which was big at the time on simply stripping Demons of their Magik at least while Micheal was in charge anyways. When war broke out between Demons and Angels he was right in the thick of it and only really looked out for himself when on the battlefield. Though unintentional he came to influence the Greeks and be considered a God when seen by some Greeks later called Ares the God of War also known as Mars by the Roman's misinterpretation of the battle between the Angels and Demons that day. It was laughable really to him how stupid humans could be sometimes and the stories the made up to explain what they thought they saw then. He was a little disappointed really when the fighting seemed to end having no longer a good method to vent through. He received little praise for his efforts during the war and was mocked further for being worshipped by humans reminding him of his failure with the Garden of Eden. That was the final straw for him and when his next assignment came up on Earth and he was still unable to find Lilith he decided to disappear once and for all.

Exile and Lilith's Return

After the war ended between the demons and angels so tired of the ridicule and mocking of most angels towards him Uriel decided to leave everything behind to live among the humans some place secluded and hidden away where he could be alone and live in peace. He abandoned the Silver Cross during his last mission to slay a demon terrorizing some human settlement in France. He slayed the demon before faking his death and heading off into the world. He would travel far and wide from France to Greece to Turkey to China where he spent a little time training under various martial arts masters before heading to Japan where he took a life of no killing or anger trying to live a life of peace and calm like the monks did. This proved to be difficult when most humans treated him like an outsider and the plague but most started to trust and like having him around when he seemed to ward off the demons and evil spirits plaguing their villages before his arrival. He soon began to find that inner peace and calm he had sought for so long leading him to wonder if he had been the one in thr wrong and whether Lilith truly cared about him or not like she claimed before she ran off like she did as he was forced to return to the Silver Cross. He'd almost come to forget about her and her influence on him until one day she showed up looking for him. He'd gone out for a stride through the cherry blossom trees and came back to find her waiting for him in his home claiming how deeply she had missed him and wanted to thank him properly for allowing her to punish Adam and Eve and how she didn't blame him for what happened after that. Knowing that his feelings for her returned and only grew that much stronger towards her he wanted to always be with her now and it seemed he might finally receive his wish. The two spent a bit of time together after that though occasionally she up and disappeared to her own devices but she always came back to him in the end. He wanted nothing more than for just the two of them to be together like this alone forever.

Return to Silver Cross

For once Uriel was truly happy and at peace with himself now that Lilith had returned to him so loving and devoted to him. Still he knew they couldn't live like this forever and eventually he would be found out and deemed a traitor if found with Lilith like this as lovers. Then one day Lilith came to him asking him to return to the Silver Cross for her sake saying it was the only way he could protect her and keep them off her back by spying on them for her so he could inform her of their plans and help her escape them. At first he wanted to refuse but he feared more losing her if he didn't and agreed to return to the Silver Cross for her sake. He hated so much leaving his little paradise in Japan behind and leaving Lilith again but he truly believed he had to do this because Lilith loved him and had to protect her more than anything else. Returning to the Silver Cross he begged and groveled for forgiveness like LIlith told him to so they would forgive him and give him another chance after explaining why he faked his death to go into a self imposed exile to punish himself for his past failures so he could find the favor of the Goddess Mayaria again and be redeemed. He led them to believe he truly wanted to return to them and loved humans again finding them worthy enough to protect again as he once had Adam and Eve and in time he began to find some redemption from some angels though he found it most difficult to pretend to forgive Jophiel he could never share the bond he once had with her again but he did become friends with her again in order to make her trust him enough to stay off his back for the time being but secretly he plotted when the time was right he would make her pay for making him look like a fool like she had that day in the Garden of Eden.

Present Day

Since his return to the Silver Cross Uriel has continued to play his part as Lilith asked him to. He faithfully goes out on missions to deal with demons as they appear and uses these oppurtunities to report in to Lilith and inform her of the Silver Cross's plans against her and the Demon Lord Asmodeus and his fellow Demon Lords to keep them off the grid and out of their watchful eyes. He faithfully serves Lilith believing she cares for and loves him deeply still and wants to keep her safe from harm and danger not really caring what happens to the Demon Lords but if it helps her be kept safe and from harm then he gladly aids them as well but only for her benefit. He continues to spy on the Silver Cross and play their loyal stooge but longs for the day when things can be made right by Lilith and the Demon Lords believing they truly want to make the world a better place for all unlike the Angels most of who he believes are too absorbed in their authority and power to care about anyone of anything but theirselves. He patiently bides his time for when he can make Jophiel finally pay for her transgressions against him. Not liking to spend too much time in Limbo with his fellow Angels he travels the world mostly the United States where demon activity is the busiest of late travelling from city to city town to town always waiting for his next encounter and order from Lilith.
