Like all angels and demons Mammon was born when the Goddess Mayaria created the Demi-Gods and not being pleased with how they turned out created the angels next in her own image after taking their magik away. Like his brothers and sisters there was a short time when he was pure and innocent there was nothing he loved more or cared about than his fellow angel. It was on that fateful day he fell victim to the magik of the Demi-Gods and was corrupted his nature turning into a greedy one. He wanted more power for himself why have one divine weapon when he could kill and take another. He never got the chance to do so when one day he was approached by one of the Demi-Gods who had managed to escape the Goddess Mayaria and sought refuge inside him promising him great power in return. Giving into his greedy nature he took the Demi-God into himself and was consumed by his greedy nature entirely becoming the Demon Lord of Greed. He had no idea what he was agreeing to when he decided to take the Demi-God into himself like he had but it was far from a pleasant change when he did so. It didn't take much convincing really to accept the Demi-God into his body being greedy power was everything to him now but he soon found his very being changing and fighting the being for control of his body. He felt like his very being was being destroyed and changed into something else entirely it was so much worse than when he agreed to let the magik of another Demi-God corrupt him and in the end he accepted his fate and defeat to the Demi-God as he fell into the dark recesses of his own mind to sleep. He didn't sleep very long soon he awoke to find himself in control of his own body again but somehow he knew and could feel the Demi-God still resided within him. He soon found himself in a place called Earth and learned that the Angels who were corrupted and weren't corrupted had all been cast out of the Divine Realm. The Demi Gods who hadn't been fortunate to take refuge in a host were sealed away someplace else never to see the light of day again. It seemed there was a last place for paradise here on Earth the Garden of Eden guarded by his fellow angels but it didn't take long for even that to be corrupted as well. Relying on himself and his greedy natue he then set out to mark his sin and influence on the world of men in order to fulfill his own needs and desires for the world's wealth and greatest treasures.

King John of England

Much of the greedy historical figures throughout the history of man were influenced or manipulated in some way by Mammon from Genghas Khan to various roman emporers. His next greatest project though was King John of England who ruled from April 1199 to October 1216 and it was his greed for England's wealth to be his own that led him to plant the seeds of greed in John's mind. Doing so was easy as he simply killed his royal advisor after taking his place and planted the thought of greed in the King's mind leading him to impoverish the country and unintentionally created the legend of Robin Hood at the same time. He taxed the people immensely and when the people became a little rebellious the King became paranoid among other things as he killed many of his own family and friends having sex sex with their women to create his many illegetimate children. His greed also led John to invade the French which was a complete and utter failure in the end gaining Mammon little unfortunately as John quickly lost everything he had gained from the french and then died before he could make him greedy enough to go to war again to get it all back. With John's death Mammon decided to leave England to seek his greed and entertainment elsewhere. After King John of England Mammon found himself in Spain where he led the Spanish Conquistadors on their greedy conquest after planting the seeds of greed in their mind to destroy the Incas for all their gold and treasures they had amassed to take for himself after he led the conquistadors to their deaths once they had finished and returned to Spain to enjoy his wealth.

The Americas

Everyone knows the story of how Christopher Columbus discovered the Americas for the Spanish by accident. It wasn't long before Portugal, Spain, England, and others were jumping at the chance to colonize the new world for themselves and it was Mammon's doing that led them their. When he heard of what Columbus had found he saw a potential for new and undiscovered riches for himself. He couldn't do it alone though and needed help. His greed led the Spanish to settle in what would later become Mexico and Florida to search for this hidden wealth and treasure the natives might hold for him there. Still that wasn't enough help when there was so much land to be discovered and so many natives to deal with so he returned to England. and convinced their King after replacing his royal advisor with himself to go and colonize the new world as well planting the thoughts of great greed and grandeur in his mind. Wanting to see the new world for himself he had the King appoint him a Lord of one of the newly established colonies in order to oversee operations and to receive all the money from taxes of the people for himself.  Annoyed by the local natives who refused to share their wealth or treasures with the English and him decided to have them removed leading the French he had also influenced with greed to go to war along with the English against the natives to forcibly take it from them. It was a dark and grueling chapter for the English colonies but the worst for them was yet to come. Wanting yet more Mammon carelessly thought he could convince the King to overtax his subjects who would just willingly to do in order to be protected by his redcoats. This backfired when the people soon began to revolt and led a revolutionary war and when they succeeded he lost his connections with the English and the others the colonies drove out. Still it didn't seem like a total lost and after reinventing himself led the newly formed United States on their manifest destiny quest by further planting the seeds of greed within them to take all the land from the east coast to the west for themselves killing any natives who got in their way including the Spanish colonists to the south to do so.  It was his greed that led the slaves of Africa to be brought to the new world in the first place and his greed that influenced the Industrial Revolution and later creation of the stock market and fort knox gold reserve where he could amass all of america's gold to keep a watchful eye on it himself. It was his games of greed that led the South to fight for their rights to slaves and their own wealth to go to civil war with the North where they ultimately lost to the North and was forced to rejoin the United States after they failed. Most of North America's history involving greed was stained so by Mammon's doing.

Present Day

When the Accords came to pass when most of the Demon Lords went into hiding or laid low Mammon remained on the scene carefully hiding through his disguises to continue manipulating others whether it was to steal their wealth and treasures for himself to simply make others fight each other over petty greed for each other's stuff. It wasn't too hard to stay off the Silver Cross's radar by acting like a good little demon when he wasn't disgusing himself to corrupt humans with his greed. His best idea influenced ever and created was the stock market it was the easiest way for him to stick his hands in everyone's honey pots to add their wealth and money to his own making him quite rich and powerful before long though he did face a big setback with the Great Depression but in time things were set right again. He really didn't see any need to get involved in the human world wars but he could pass up the oppurtunity to plant further greed into the mind of Adolf  Hitler who then decided to invade Russia when ultimately led to the downfall of his conquest losing all he had gained in the process defeated by the Russians and the Americans on two different fronts and though he had nothing to gain from doing so quite enjoyed Hitler's fall because of his greed. With the birth of Las Vegas the city of sin he decided to settle down there for awhile and has since took over the MGM Casino one of the most wealthiest and prestigious casinos in Las Vegas becoming a billionaire thanks to his careful manipulation of the stock market where he owns stocks in some of the biggest and wealthiest companies from around the world allowing him to get anything and everything he wants out of life.
