| Gina is much like two sides of the same coin: heads she's nice and tails she's a force to be reckoned with. With that in mind, neither face is distinctly different than the other. The face most see is the sociable, professional perfectionist that she prefers to showcase. Whenever she's out in public, she's the life of the party. When it's her party (which it usually is), she the best hostess you'll ever have. She's a perfectionist and needs things to go her way. When they do, she's a perfect gem to be around. That being said, when things go wrong or she feels she has been cheated, the coin flips. This is usually a very subtle change for she doesn't showcase her anger. She is quick to feel slighted and take offense, but she is careful and a bit backhanded. Once on her shit list, there is no getting off it until she is satisfied that the debt for whatever was done to piss her off is paid off in full and with interest. The thing about this is that she takes her time determining the perfect price for the one who wronged her to pay. If she doesn't get her payback, she tends to bottle up her disdain and anger until it boils over and she explodes (a rare occurence). She has been known to resort to violence and has no issue killing or maiming someone to make her point clear. | |
biography
Gina was born the youngest and only daughter to Desmond and Larissa Pryor on April 13, 1573. She was the last of eight children, although two never made it past infancy and one died of illness at five. The four surviving sons were Desmond's pride and joy and Larissa always had her hands full with them so Gina was often left to her own devices or under the careful eye of the help. Despite this, Gina was spoiled rotten, and as she grew up, she learned how to steal the spotlight from her brothers. She also learned how to get even without making herself look bad so she could remain the perfect, proper baby girl.
This all changed when she was married off. She hated it and especially hated her husband, who didn't give into her at all. He was selfish, narcissistic, and domineering to the point she turned slightly darker. She attempted to poison him one evening after he got particularly nasty. It failed horribly. As luck would have it, he died a year later from illness, and she became a very wealthy widow, taking up her late husband's business. It was extremely short-lived, however.
She met Kaia not long after she took control of her husband's business. After a few of these meetings, Gina began to notice certain oddities about the mysterious woman. So she investigated and found that Kaia was a vampire. Intrigued, she confronted the woman and asked to be turned. The next thing she knew, she woke up a vampire. Surprisingly enough, she didn't freak out. Instead, she was very much intrigued and took a quick liking to her sire. Being a quick learner, she quickly came to terms with her new abilities and the restrictions that countered them. After that, she took advantage of her knew abilities and then some. She traveled around a lot and dabbled in owning a few different businesses along the way before she ended up in what was soon to become Las Vegas.
It didn't take long for her to scheme up something close to her own little dream world and she spearheaded the entire process for decades, despite preferring to work in the background as the brains for the longest time. She made certain that the city was and would always remain vampire friendly while making sure they weren't risking exposure. Of course that didn't mean she remained in Vegas the entire time. Gina continued to travel regularly, although she always returned to Vegas to make sure those she put in charge in her absence were actually doing their jobs.
When the extremists began their trouble, however, she returned to Vegas and finally decided it was time for her to be more direct. And when the supernaturals were officially revealed, she was much more hands on, making sure Vegas and the vampires, particularly herself had a strong foothold.
