Valeria Chrysanthemum

Valeria was born into a small middle-class family in London at exactly the year 1900, January the first. Her father was a doctor working at his own clinic after he graduated from his medical studies. The clinic was the bottom half of the house turned into one. Her father was a nice man, only charging money from people who can afford it. Her mother runs her own small coffeehouse in the morning and the afternoon next to the clinic where Valeria works sometimes as a waitress or cook in her weekends or free time, mostly to stop her from getting too bored. At night her mother went around seeing if she can provide the homeless in her neighborhood some food and shelter. Valeria’s life was pretty much fine. There’s not much excitement in it but she was thankful that she didn’t end up homeless nor abused by her parents. Growing up, she was always popular among guys whether it is in school or in her neighborhood. She used this to her advantage sometimes, manipulating them here and there.

When she turned 17, her mother was pregnant with her baby sibling. They were unsure if it was a boy or a girl, but she would imagine it was a boy for Valeria always dreamt of having a baby brother to play and take care of. At the third month of her mother’s pregnancy, there was a serial killer outbreak near her neighborhood. The serial killer was killing many, from streets to streets and she knows it’ll be her neighborhood next. On the fourth month of her mother’s pregnancy, she was sent to a nearby town to organize for the upcoming party her aunt is hosting. The next morning, her parents were dead along with the child that was never born. She was sent to live with her closest uncle.

Her uncle was from her father’s side. His name was James and his wife’s name was Lily Peach. They had two children, both were males and they are twin. They look exactly alike. One is named Christopher and the other is named Chris. Life with this family was not bad. Valeria mostly do household chores while living with them. They weren’t abusive though they intend to be loud most of the time. This family was very lively.

Things changed once more when Valeria turned 20 and was walking in the street, taking her early walk. It was then that she felt a hard object striking the back of her head and passed out immediately. After what seems like years, she woke up but she doesn’t feel the same. She was in a pitch black room with only a bright lamp illuminating corner as a light source. The light seems blinding to her and her eyes felt more sensitive and focused. Her ears seem to be better as well, hearing even the slightest bits of wind blowing and footsteps from far, far away. She quickly adjusted to the color of the room and scanned for a light switch. She turned it on but then quickly off, realizing it’s hurting her sense of sight more and more. She was wondering what was wrong with her and where she was. The door was yanked open and a guy stepped in. He was tall, dark and beautiful. He goes by the name of ‘’Marcus Morningstar.’’ He explained everything, the fact that he killed her and turned her into one of his own. Even worse, she is now binding to him with his blood in her veins. He never really explains to her why he did it.

After 10 years of working for him, she grew a little attached and dependant on him. The years she spent with him was also the years she learn how to use her abilities properly. 2 years later, she discovered her unique power of being able to manipulate others through a kiss. She began to work on it, learning its limitations and how to strengthen it. After 18 more years, Marcus got into yet another fiery battle with a group of vampires and died. her bond with him was broken. Valeria was sad for his death but decided to move on. After his death, she began to travel around England and worked around bars using her savings and her earnings.

When she turns 57, she traveled to Las Vegas; hearing that it’s a great place for vampires and turned out it wasn’t bad. She currently works there as a bartender. Her charming looks attracts many customers to the bar.
