History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Camilla was born almost a thousand years ago to two werewolf parents around what is now Hammerfell, Norway. Her father had been bitten by the very Original werewolf himself a few hundred years prior and her mother had been born a werewolf. Her mother didn't survive the birth of her only child, but at least she still had her father. Thankfully for them, her father had remained loyal to the Original werewolf for his entire life. Because of this, Camilla and her father remained close to the Original wolf even though her father decided to raise his daughter in their home of Norway.
Camilla grew up a quiet child, always interested more in nature and art than much else. A curious little girl, Camilla enjoyed the raw nature of her home. She enjoyed the winters and the mild springs. She loved the scent of the wild flowers in the early summer and the early fall swims that she would take with her friends in the local river. Her home was mountainous, and it was as dangerous as it was rough. The girl learned to hunt from an early age, mastering the use of bow and arrow, as well as learning how to trap and skin the animals that they put on their dinner table every night.
While quiet a quiet and dutiful daughter she was, Camilla was also as headstrong and fiery as her mother had been. She had a temper that flared every so often, leaving things in her home broken and her father one edge. The tantrums only got worse the closer and closer she game to puberty. That was until she grew so angry over something small and simple that she shifted for the very first time. That first shift, at the age of fourteen, was excruciating and even to this day she cannot forget the pain. All of her bones had been broken and mended once more so that she took on the shape of a wolf. She wasn't terrified because her father had warned her time and time again that she would shift of her own accord one day.
She didn't remember the first night of her shift, and to be honest, she was glad that she couldn't recall anything. She woke up among the rocks of one of the nearby mountains, various wild animals dead and ravaged around her. Camilla was disgusted at the sight, and incredibly cold in the mild spring air, and she soon made her way home. Her father met her with open arms, and they didn't speak about the events that had lead to her first shift.
After that encounter, she learned to hold her temper, often meditating to calm herself down. If ever she started to grow angry, she would find somewhere quiet and secluded and she would settle down with a small piece of wood and a knife, and she would whittle little toys and objects for the children in the village. In her spare time, she started to help the local women with various chores and odd jobs. Her father worked as a fisherman and hunter, so more often than not, she would prepare meals for the various families, for small celebrations, and the little orphans that had no one to cook for them. She enjoyed her time cooking, taking her time and putting quite a bit of time and effort into her trade.
When she was eighteen, her father was shot and killed during the full moon. Camilla had been running with him that night, and while he had been there one minute, he had been gone the very next. Angered that the hunter had taken her father away from her, she mauled and killed the man, waking in the morning laying next to her father with blood on her skin and her father dead by an arrow to the heart. Camilla didn't cry, though. No, her first thought was to find her alpha. She had no one else to turn to so it was her very best course of action.
Once she found the man, she stuck by his side for years, acting as a motherly figure, providing food, and helping to protect the younger pack members from arm. Hundreds of years of experience would turn her into a formidable woman with a quelled temper and a need to nurture and protect. She swore off most romantic relationships, putting much of her focus on her duties within the pack. Forever loyal to the Alpha and his sister, she never questioned them in anything, simply remaining a constant presence in the background to be used when she was needed.
In recent years, she took up a job as a flight attendant. When Drake decided to move to New York, she followed soon after and has created a haven for the pack in the form of a cafe and restaurant. She provides jobs to both the older and newer pack members within the restaurant, helping them keep their cover and keeping them safe from harm or prying eyes.
