Initially Damien had come to New York City again to see Anais and hang out with her a little more. She ended up being busy today so he decided after checking into a hotel he'd get his bike fueld up and just drive around until he found something to entertain himself. He'd arrived the night before after driving all the way here he didn't like to use planes unless he had to go overseas really otherwise he would drive everywhere he wasn't ever in a rush really. He hadn't slept that much last night he always grew a little wary and restless when a full moon drew close and in a couple of days another one would come. He'd skip breakfast and cleaned up a bit before throwing on his racing helmet and favorite brown leather jacket before heading out to explore the streets. It wasn't long before he found some bike racers hanging out at a garage in an alleyway and after approaching them was told about a big race later about big cash with dangerous odds his favorite really nothing he couldn't survive if he got in an accident which he tried to avoid it helped being a werewolf and being able to see better than humans could. He rarely ever lost really he'd yet to really meet his match just yet but he could never know how this race would go and was roaring to go once he got there. It seemed like mostly humans were present but he did notice a female werewolf around. He wasn't really here to bother or pester her so he would focus on the race and leave her be last thing he wanted for her or himself was trouble. His red eyes shown brightly behind his visor of his helmet as the race was off fast paced they were kidding about that or the danger part a few people crashed early on but nothing too serious since they had slowed down to turn at the time. In the end it came down to him and the female werewolf from before after he fianlly escaped trading paint and losing his mirrors and it came down to a narrow victory on his part at the end and after collecting his winnings he decided to head over to the nearest garage and found the female werewolf from before there noticing she had left the race pretty quickly after it ended seemed she worked here or was getting work done here like he was. "Sweet race moves there like life in the fast lane eh?" Damien would say as he looked to her now after removing his helmet the red glow of his eyes quickly fading away now. Then he looked around and scratched his chin a little. "Well there goes a lot of winnings already my bike is a mess now," Damien replies as he examines his bike over now and smiles sheepishly running a hand through his hair now. This would probably be a couple days work at least he'd need more work done probably that he didn't even know about yet. Paige Anderson

After losing that race by just a fraction of a second Paige was pretty torn up about it. She always won these competitions and now another werewolf had swooped in and taken her cash prize right out from underneath her. She was pretty sure she would have won too if she had her usual bike, which now sat in the corner of the garage waiting to be fixed after a pretty gruesome accident. After she lost she didn’t feel the need to stick around celebrate someone else’s win so she found herself back in the garage she worked in with the bike she used for race being thoroughly examined for damage and ways to speed it up for next time. Her racing jacket made of red leather and jet black racing helmet discarded to the side, leaving her in a jeans and a white tank top that had been exposed to some grease since her return to the shop. She was taking a break when he walked in and she smelled him before he even spoke. Paige thought he was here to gloat but then he spoke and it was a compliment. She was surprised to say the least. “Uh, yeah I do like life in the fast lane. It is the only way to live if you ask me. Usually I win those competitions but you outraced be today. Nice bike you have there by the way.” She turned around to face him entirely as he looked over his bike. “It is a damn good thing you won that competition though because it looks like you’ll need some serious work. Is that why you’re here?” she asked as she stepped closer. She didn’t wait for a reply as she crouched down beside the bike and began a quick once over of his bike. After that race it was in need of a serious tune up and if he was here to have that done then he was in the right place, every biker in the city with half a brain came to her for repairs. She was one of the best after in New York City after all.

Damien could tell she had been upset though mostly with herself for losing but a little with him as well she seemed like the champion around here and he didn't mean to steal any of her thunder he just wanted a good time racing and feeling that adrenaline rush. Then she left but he didn't mind really he wasn't looking to gloat and couldn't force her to stay really and he didn't care much for the winner's celebrations though a little extra cash was always nice to have to spend while he was here that was to say if he had any left after he fixed up his racing bike at a garage. Once finally freed of the crowd he asked for a good garage and mechanic and after being called an idiot by some guy he was pointed in the direction of this place and some girl named Paige. Apparently she had been in the race and was the one he beat by a narrow victory. That was going to make this encounter slightly awkward for him but if she was the best then he needed the best to fix his bike up good as new really so he could tolerate her attitude if she still had one until he could pay her and leave with his bike in tow. Walking in as he pushed his bike alongside him he saw her after noticing her bike and a few others being worked on already and decided to make casual conversation with her to alert her to his prescence but being a wolf well she already smelled him he was sure. "Well I can't disagree with you there. I've raced all over the world nothing beats the adrenaline rush when your going nearly a hundred miles per hour weaving in and out of traffic sometimes," Damien replied with a grin using his hand for emphasis now. Then he fell quiet as she spoke of how good she was around here and liked his bike. "I'm sure it was a fluke but I'd love to race you again sometime just for fun and thanks had this baby for awhile too long really lot of accidents and repairs together," he replied smiling sheepishly now rubbing the back of his neck a little now. Then he looked to her as she spoke of his winnings and needed his bike fixed now. "Well I assume your Paige the best so they told me to come see you about my repairs. I'm kind of a mechanic myself but I couldn't really bring em with me so you were my only option really. Name's Damien Wolf nice to meet a fellow racer like yourself," he replied and watched her do her examination now. She didn't seem so standoffish like Romulus Lupercus had been at first he seemed so afraid of his own kind at first but this Myra his she-wolf partner was inspiration enough to push him to change and better himself and finally except his wolf as a true part of himself. Now they were expecting it seemed the thought warmed his heart really to see his kind happy like that and not afraid of themselves like a lot of the younger and turned ones could be good thing he had been born into this life and not turned into it. Paige was more than happy to help the wolf out now that she knew he wasn't here to gloat. In fact, he offered a rematch for fun and that was an offer she was going to have to take soon. But for now, that would have to wait because this bike needed her attention more than anything else. After her quick examination of his bike was completed she stood up to continue their conversation. “I am the one and only Paige and I can get your bike out of here as good as new. You’re lucky those guys sent you here because seeing someone else about this would have been a damn shame for you.” She grinned, she was kind of cocky over how well she did her job and rightfully so. “Anderson is my last name by the way and it is nice to meet you.” she wiped her hand off on her jeans before she offered it for him to shake. Once he had she walked over to where her bike was and moved it away from her workstation, “Move your bike over here, would ya?” She asked as she looked through her tools. “How long do you have for me to work on it?”

Damien would smile and nod a little in her direction now. She seemed nice enough to him which was a relief and seemed in a better mood as well after the thought of racing him again. He'd love that really to push each other to the limits and put their best out there as they raced dangerously through the streets weaving in and out of cars and tight turns that would probably crash any normal person right away and well kill them too but not a werewolf really they'd recover if albeit rather painfully depending on injuries inflicted being an alpha had it's perks he healed twice as fast as a beta did and was bigger in size when transformed senses a lot stronger as well. It was a shame really his bike needed big repairs right now so racing her solo would have to wait for now until she had made the repairs and been paid adequately for her services here. There was always later after that had been done to pick somewhere to set up and race properly again. Soon enough she seemed to be done with her lookover and he looked back to her as she spoke to him hands on her hips now. "Well after that one guy called me idiot he was kind enough to point me here to you and this garage Paige. Seems like I made the right decision," Damien replied smiling sheepishly now. She seemed a little cocky for sure but then again so was he sometimes so he let that slide a splayful jest at him on her part. "Oh right well I'll definitely remember it for the future," Damien replied now with a grin taking her hand and shaking it briefly before letting her have it back again. He would guess she was probably not a Beta yet somehow being an Alpha he just knew these things but that didn't mean he'd look down on her any for it and wouldn't really bring up her personal life as a werewolf unless she wanted to talk about it first with him. He'd nod at that and grabbing his bike pushed it over to where she wanted it now and setting it there stepped back again now. "As long as you need really is fine. I wasn't planning on leaving for at least a week. I'm here well originally to see a girl I met last time I was here," Damien replied with a sheepish grin on his face now. Even if she was only human he really did like Anais now she had such a kind and sweet heart and wasn't really afraid of what he was if anything she seemed that much more interested in him return because he was what he was now.
