Samantha would walk into her father's office at home, late one evening to ask him a question; a very important one that had been on her mind ever since their family trip to New York City. She'd knock on his door first, checking to make sure he was in before she stepped inside. Her father, a man with greying hair, would look up to her and smile. "Sam, it's a pleasure to see you; what brings you here?" he asks her, pulling off his glasses and watching her with expectant eyes. "I...How did you find me, in the woods?" she asks in return, frowning as she starts to pace. "I've been thinking about that night for a while, and I can't get it out of my head; why was I even there in the first place... Just, Dad, please tell me the truth...No babying me anymore."
The older man would stay silent before heaving a sigh and standing up. "When I found you... I thought someone had set something on fire before putting you there, with how many ashes were all over the place, though... you were covered in them, and didn't seem to mind, not to mention..." he pauses, glancing to her. "Your eyes; they were glowing..."
Samantha stumbles back, her eyes wide as she hears it. 'Reborn from the ashes... Reborn... she thinks, her thoughts suddenly being replaced with painful voices. 'It's your first.... won't remember until you're ready... pain... She'd turn and scramble to open her father's door again, rushing out of the house as she starts to panic, her father's voice barely heard in her panic. She'd burst out of the back door and rush across the lawn, into the forests behind their house. She heads deeper and deeper inside the, panting from her fear and just exerting herself so much right off the bat. "I... No..." she says, starting to cry. More images, flashes of memories would start to appear and only get more and more common until all she saw were those visions. Memories of her past lives would fly past her eyes, images of when she first came to Earth to the last memory she had. She was severely injured by a demon, though who it was didn't matter. All she knew was that it was a lethal blow she had been dealt, and she'd taken to her bird form, which was so painful and difficult for her to do at night; She'd finally ended up on the outskirts of Harper Valley, and crash landed near the Veradan household. She'd picked a hidden spot to lie down in as she bled out, her eyes just closing as her body would ignite and consume her in flames, turning her to ash. Several minutes later, her own, baby cry would be heard and not long after that, Samuel Veradan would be seen finding her in the forests, trying to calm her down as he brushed the ash off of her and carried her home in his arms. 'I...I understand...Aelia... I'm Aelia...' she thinks as the visions slow, though she'd be distracted as trips on a thick, tree root and falls to the ground, sliding as she falls.
Aelia groans as she struggles to get up, her entire body aching when she opens her eyes to see her hands. Stronger sparks would be coming from them and she'd feel the memory of how to make flames come into her mind. With a grunt, the sparks ignite and blue fire is at her fingertips, lighting the brush on fire. With a yell, she'd pat the flames out, making sure they were extinguished before she tried getting up again. This time, she really had a whopper of an Awakening; the pain must've only gotten worse with age, though that feeling of being entirely new and renewed with the memories she'd lost. "Chronos...." she says softly, looking to the sky. "I could almost say I miss you, but it's been so long, that I barely remember what you looked like..." Aelia would sigh, though her head would snap to attention at the sound of someone in the forest with her. Her eyes light up, glowing gold as she studies her surroundings.
