Chilling in cafe. @tagged words: idc | Vampire. Human. Some days Timias had to wonder which he was more of really. He claimed to hate them with a passion full blooded vampires like his father and yet when push came to shove he would drink human blood to satisfy his hunger or if he got injured and kept some supplies of it in his freezer. He was a realist and that meant he knew he couldn't ignore what he really was and had to keep both sides of himself in check. He would always blame his father though for his hatred for vampires how he failed to save his mother when she was struggling and needed his help the most. In the end it seemed his father did have a heart but it was a little too late the damage was done and Timias had closed himself off from his father now and refused to keep contact with him at all. He was happy and content with the life he lived now why should he risk letting his father back ina nd having a second chance when he might screw it all up for him and make things worse. Maybe someday when he was ready he would forgive the man but for now he had no plans to do so. He'd done well enough without him now he'd graduated highschool and gotten into Harvard he'd gotten various degress in various fields of computer related degrees and had become quite the hacker his greates project so far had been hacking into Times Square and taking over all the screens to post some of his favorite videos on them. Doing so was how he had met Evelyn Scott and her crew in the first place. Now when he wasn't hacking people or companies for their information or working as a computer technician he was busy with the crew stealing from various museums or people to get their art and most prized possessions.
Evelyn would usually give a lot of her share to charity like some kind of Robin Hood if he were a chick but most of his share went into his computers to make his work in hacking and online gaming that much more efficient. He could found as such today in a cafe enjoying some coffee and coffee cake as he played some world of warcraft his main character being Timgan the Destroyer a powerful wizard level 90 he was at the top of his game in this world now and made lots of gold helping the less fortunate and lower level players succeed at tough quests and bosses for a price and to boost his own reputation that much more he also really enjoyed playing Elder Scrolls Online and Final Fantays XIV Reborn and was pretty high up in those games as well now life was simply good right now it seemed hard to believe it could really get any better right now.

Traveling around made her see the world. Where in her past she would have marveled at the great wonders that the Earth could give us, now all she could see was the corruption that could take root in the nooks and crannies of the impossible machine. Still deep down in her heart, a place she rarely pondered and greatly was afraid of, would always remember the way her late mother and herself would travel, exploring the world and making each other happy. Those were some of the best; the happiest days of her life.
Now she was a bringer of death, something that brought her a greater pleasure than she could have realized. Still a pinning thought of her mother’s disapproval hurt her heart. That was the one thing she was unable to eradicate from her old life: the way she took one of the only people who meant anything to her. She was a monster and when she realized and embraced it, she felt infinitely better. However, the memories of her mother were a constant, though less annoying plague that she was dealing with. Living for thousands of years always allowed you to live on, to acknowledge one’s own failings. Yet it would never let you forgive yourself for its darkest secrets and it most certainly would not allow you to forget.
Coffee was not something she made a habit of, being too preoccupied to sitting in a place and watching the world dwindles around her. However, she had the morning free; simply unable to find anything else she wished to occupy her time with. The shop itself was dainty, a quaint thing that she had barely noticed until she heard the door open in front of her. Looking at the cute couple ahead of her, she secretly longed to feel that close to someone. The only person she cared about was Viktor but he always seemed to find more time with other women than she. It hurt, cutting her into little pieces inside. Her obsession would not subside and seeing others enjoying a harmonious happiness with her lacking in her own did not make her happy.
Still she took the opportunity to enter the café. It was not too busy but enough to be surrounded and conspicuous. Slowly she made her way to the line. A man ordered a tea and biscuit in front of her and a child was mucking about with his mother behind. Sighing internally, she simply wished to leave this place in peace. When it came to her turn, she ordered a latte to go. A couple of minutes later, though it felt like a lifetime, she got her order to go and had paid. Turning to leave, a man backing out from his seat bumped into her, spilling the contents onto herself and the ground. Before she had time to retort to his arrogance, the man gave her a piercing look and exited the building. She was half a mind to beat him senseless but a voice distracted her from this plan of action.

Chilling in cafe. @diamondivy2 words: idc | Timias couldn't say he cared much to travel or really see the world much outside the jobs he did for Evelyn and her crew. There just wasn't much out there that excited him much outside the world of computers and hacking and his online video games. Having a serious relationship with a girl right now wasn't his top priority when said girl didn't have much in common with him and made him grow quickly bored of her which resulted in him becoming like a ghost to her and unreachable further. It was a little depressing maybe seeing happy couples around him but nothing kept him down in the dumps for too long as he enjoyed his passion of online gaming right now as he wandered the world of Azeroth aimlessly at the moment.
It was when he smelt that magik that he looked up to see someone woman enter now. A magi it seemed and powerful one at that. Their blood or the smell of it always seemed to have this effect on him that he hated. Something about their blood made his hunger grow almost out of control and made him into a creature he did not like much at all. He wanted to just ignore her and hoped she wouldn't notice him either but then a she caused a scene when she bumped into some guy and got his coffee all over her clothes now and sighed at that. "What a jerk am I right? Anything I can do to help you out miss?" Timias would ask looking to her now more directly.

The coffee on her was definitely not, what she had ordered. She had the right of way and the arrogant man was simply not looking around when he pulled away from his seat. Anyone else would have been more aware of their surroundings. This man would have felt her wrath. Sure, he had the head start but she would have been quickly upon him, punishing him for his insubordination. She was the head Inquisitor of the Scarlett Council and she would have had his head on the platter. Yet it did not seem to be her blood lust for once calling some blood to be spilt. Usually she would have made her claim clear for the whole world to see but she did nothing but look in the general direction of his leaving.
The voice that cut through everything was that of a young man. Her eyes had darted from the insubordination and the new man a couple of times before breaking into her signature smile. Everyone likes that smile. “Perhaps. I think I am partially to blame for the incident though.” Oh, no, she did not believe that but her innocent personae would. Playing this part for such a long time felt just as natural as her blood lust nature. Looking down her, she realized her shirt was covered in a brown stain. Her jeans had a small stain at the top but her thin jacket had been spared this incident thankfully.
“I thank you for your concern. I think unless you have a washing machine with you, there is really much else that can be done.” With that, she let a laugh, a genuine laugh that even surprised herself. She had not had reason to laugh in such a long time. Why was she doing it now? Though she usually did not care for feelings, his genuine concern touched her. It reminded her of a great man once. “I am sorry that I have disturbed you. I assure you it was not intentional.”

Chilling in cafe. @diamondivy2 words: idc | Being a hybrid certainly had it's perks he would admit that much being a vampire or well half one hardly made him smarter though. Still it made him faster on his feet and the inhuman strength came in handy as well as the reflexes which would have allowed him to easily dodge the woman's unfortunate mishap just now. Hearing things from a further distance had it's perks too as well as seeing in the dark. He had learned to accept and deal with what he was now but that didn't mean he liked full blooded vampires much or Magi since their blood had such a strong effect on even hybrids like himself. Still he could compose himself and control his hunger for her special blood unless she gave him a reason to say screw it and act on his instincts to drink her blood.
That smile of hers was slightly unnvering like her thoughts were much darker than her smile suggested they might be. he wouldn't pry though her business was her business and simply smiled sheepishly at that. "Maybe so but he could've bought you new clothes or something as an apology on his part for ruining your current ones." he replied rubbing the back of his neck a little. She didn't seem to notice what he was so that was a relief he wouldn't really bring it up or what she was it'd probably be rude to ask her about that regardles she figured. "Maybe if I was a magician that would be some trick though I'm sure," Timias replied sipping at his coffee a little now. "You were hardly bothering me just looked like you might need someone to vent to about it." Timias added with a slight shrug of his shoulders now.

The coffee was going to take forever to get out of her clothes and this idea had vexed her to no end at all. It was going to be a while to even have the chance to change her clothes. Well unless she went to some of the shops nearby and buy some. Viktor had not given her some new gifts recently and thus she could use his credit card. It was not so much that she was the type of girl to simply want to spend money or to even go out of her way to shop, though she liked new clothes, simply it was the perfect excuse to get told off by her wannabe lover.
She arched an eyebrow at the man she was currently speaking too. Not many here would care one jolt whether this happened or not. He seemed to be both caring but distant at the same time. As long as he was not going to ask her out or anything then she would be fine. A couple of reasons for this: First, she loved Viktor and though he had never reciprocated her, feelings in the way she longed to, she held onto some sort of hope that this would change. The second reason was she did not need a pity date from anyone. Frankly, he was apparently a man who was not dangerous enough for her liking. Already he seemed like the upright gentleman she did not need nor want.
Something about him was off: a smell of death but without being a vampire. Vampires usually carried it without really wanting to, their last ounce of life mingled with the predators they became. The smell reminded her of that though she internally shook her head. He was not possibly a vampire. It perplexed her; still it gave her no worries. She would be able to look after herself. She was over 3000 years old and the worst case scenario, she could wield the Magik her beloved could bestow.
She cautiously took the seat next to her, curious at this specimen. “Magicians I thought make things disappear? Well whatever, it was only coffee.” Not just coffee but she would get over it somehow. “Good. I am not usually this clumsy.” Though she could kill most proficiently, she was indeed a clumsy being. Venting? Was that the same as killing or just the speaking kind. “He was rude but I usually am not the type to confront someone like him, being so angry at me and all.” She pulled a face and looked down. Big fat lie! Still if it worked… “I suppose he had a right to. I just wanted to get out and I was not looking properly.” He would pay to be disrespectful later. She was very good with faces.
