Romantic Nature Date With Inola @inola words: idc | Veltos had never really been an outdoorsy kind of guy growing up.Being from a family of aristocrats they had little time for simple things like camping outdoors or these things humans call dates. It was all so new to him really there was still so much he didn't really understand about humans and wasn't sure he ever would really. He was glad though Inola wasn't a human and was a vampire like he was. It was always so complicated trying to get close to a human woman without exposing his secret to her afraid if she found out she might and reject him for it that was something he never really wanted to deal with right now a woman rejecting him. Inola was different though she was just so down to earth and so kind and caring something about her just really drew him more to her and wanted to spend more time with his it was a strange feeling but not one he was entirely against really.
The time of their next date had finally came it seemed it would be a much needed vacation for him to be honest. He didn't really like the outdoors but he was willing to deal with it and give it a chance for Inola to make her happy with him more now. He didn't pack much some change of clothes mostly and some bagged blood in a freezer for both of them to enjoy incase they got hungry since neither really ate human food doing so didn't really do anything to satisfy their hunger really. It'd been easy enough to rent a nice enough cabin and there were some nice trails around if she wanted to go hiking with him. "Well here we are my love," Veltos spoke now as he moved to the trunk of his car now opening to grab their bags now before smiling at her walking to the front door now setting the bags down briefly to unlock the front door before heading inside with their bags again.

Inola was beyond excited for their romantic weekend together in the woods. She needed this, more than anything; Veltos was her shot at healing, really healing from John's death and Sokanon's disappearance, and she wouldn't waste this chance. When he came to pick her up, all of her clothing would be packed and ready, clothing and shoes fit for hiking and such. It'd been a long time since she'd explored this part of the U.S., wilderness-wise at least. She'd help him take her luggage down and get his vehicle packed with it before hopping in the passenger seat and looking to him. She'd have a warm smile on her face, and frankly, she couldn't wait to get there.
They'd finally arrive at the cabin, and Inola could barely hide her excitement. She'd get out and enjoy the fresh air, taking in a slow breath as she heads to go get her bags. Veltos, however, grabs it first, and at him calling her his love, she couldn't stop grinning. When he went to unlock the door and open it, she'd come up from behind him and embrace him. "I love this, Veltos. Thank you." she says happily, moving to grab one of her bags before he could. "And I love how much of a gentleman you are, but you don't need to carry it all in, love. I can help."
She'd move to go to the side of him, and stand on her toes a bit to kiss him quickly before heading inside the cabin, looking around at it. Inola sets her bag down and goes to the bedroom to look at it as well. She felt a little nervous, actually, seeing it was a one bedroom, but being by him would certainly be interesting. This weekend was more a sort of healing for her, and it was already starting really; he brought her such happiness, and it came so easily with him as well. Inola would move back to him, and smile knowingly. "What do you want to do first?" she says, her tone sounding excited.

Romantic Nature Date With Inola @inola words: idc | Veltos could admit for once he might actually love a woman again like he once had and well still did like he did with Serena. It'd been a restless night before reliving the loss of his fiancee again and Matias being there mocking him calling weak saying he could've never saved her no matter how hard he tried. He wanted to forget about him right now and focus on this romantic weekend getaway between him and Inola. He'd appointed a man simply known as the Banker to run things in his stead and then he'd packed a suitcase and thrown in the back of his Cadillac SUV he rented before going out to pick up Inola who seemed prepared and more for this trip than he was.
She seemed so excited as he expected her to be she seemed more at home really out here in the woods. The Cabin wasn't the biggest of fanciest one out there just small and simple enough for two people to enjoy really. He was sure she was capable of handling her own bags but what kind of douche would be seem like if he did that and decided to grab her bags for her now with his one suitcase as well now. Unlocking the front door he smiled sheepishly as he then felt her hug him from behind now. "No need to thank me Inola I just wanted you to enjoy this weekend with me." Veltos replied as she then stole one of her bags from his feet before he could grab the rest as they started to head inside now. "Yeah I know but I wanted to do it," he simply replied before kissing her back with a soft kiss of his own now.
Seeing her then disappear he was sure she was checking the bedroom out now. It was big enough to give her her space as well as his own if she should want that. He'd set the other bags and his suitcase by hers now and then walked into the kitchen to look at the freezer before walking back out satisfied with it being able to store the blood they needed in it in there. Walking back out Inola soon reappeared with a smile on her face now. "Well we should unpack first and I should get the blood in cold storage so it doesn't spoil. When that's done I thought we'd go hiking," Veltos replied with a smile before walking out to the car to grab the cooler and bring it inside now. multiply life by the power of two |

Inola would nod as he goes to grab the cooler, and she takes her bags the entire way into the bedroom while he got the cooler. She'd unpack her other pair of boots as well as the clothing she'd brought with her and go to put said clothes into a neat, folded pile inside a dresser she finds in the bedroom. After one of the drawers was full of her clothes, she'd close the bags and set them in the corner neatly before heading into the main room to check on Veltos. Once he came inside, she'd grab his suitcase and take it to the bedroom took, but let him unpack his stuff. She sits down on the bed and lays back, looking up at the ceiling . "I can't wait to get moving." Inola says with a smile, closing her eyes and imagining the forests already.
Spending all of this time with Veltos would be such a refreshment, and adding the forest and nature would only make her enjoy their time even more. Inola would sit up, glancing at the window for a moment. "Hope those are thick curtains." She jokes, actually checking them when she crosses the room. "They should do, yeah..."
She pulls the curtains open and looks out into the dark forest, thinking over the past as she does so.

Romantic Nature Date With Inola @inola words: idc | Veltos would smile and nod as he headed out to the SUV again to grab the cooler keeping their blood nice and preserved for later. Another reason he was glad Inola was a vampire like himself it meant avoiding awkward questions a human woman would ask like what was in the cooler and then she'd want to peek in it and he'd have to end up killing her to protect his secret of what he was. Inola was a vampire so she needed blood just the same as he did so he was glad for that as he carried the cooler inside now shooting Inola a smile as she grabs his suitcase before heading back into the bedroom again as he headed into the kitchen to stock the freezer up with the blood before heading into the bedroom himself walking over to his suitcase now.
"Why don't we go then this can wait really," Veltos replied referring to his suitcase as he placed his hands on the top now for emphasis. He'd blink as she then sat up and mentioned the curtains watching her walk over to examine them. Then he remembered she didn't exactly have a daylight ring like Kaia had given him that allowed him to walk in the daylight unlike her. She no doubt had to wear a cloak or hood of some kind to cover up more from the sunlight. "You wont have to worry about that too much longer my dear I plan to get you a daylight ring like my own fashioned for you. Then you'll have much more time to search for your sister when your not inhibited by the sun," Veltos replied smiling softly at her now knowing how happy that would make her. Then she could join him in the daytime as well and give them more time together instead of being restricted to the nightime like she was. "Well shall we pack out backpacks with some food and stuff and be on our way hiking my love?"

Inola would watch Veltos as he spoke, and nods. She was eager to get hiking, so she grabbed her backpack, and started to put items in it. At the mention of him fashioning a daylight ring for her, she pauses, remembering what Lilith had told her. She glances up and smiles a bit. "My mentor said she'd get something for the sunlight issue of mine; I'm assuming she meant a daylight ring, so... I can just tell her that little issue will be dealt with shortly, though. I'd rather not owe her any more than I already do," Inola says, sighing just a bit.
She'd continue packing her belongings, mostly glass bottles and bags she'd gather herbs in. She may not have someone to care for that needed them, but it helped refresh her memory of the uses of certain herbs and roots. Inola gets it all packed and zips up the bag, slinging it over her shoulder. "Shall we get going, dear?" she asks, walking over to him.

Romantic Nature Date With Inola @inola words: idc | Veltos would smile softly and grin at the sight of Inola's eager packing now. She seemed so happy and content being out here in the middle of nowhere like they were and well it made sense really. She was a native american they had in the past from her time period lived in the open plains or forests mostly so she probably felt most at home here unlike himself. He was a city boy as one might call him dependant on it's technology and ways of doing things he felt most comfortable and safe there but with Inola he felt content and happy so he wa smaking do with for her sake and happiness. At the mention of a daylight ring her mentor was brought up suddenly. Of course he had suggested it to her and was glad she had found one though she didn't sound entirely enthusiastic about whoever she was.
"Well the only thing you'll owe me is a kiss for it but I am glad you found someone to train you in your ability," Veltos replied with a smile rubbing the back of his neck a little now. He noted the bottles probably to collect some herbs and plants she found that she liked or needed as he packed his own bags with a little camping gear before he was finished as well. "Of course it's time to get the smell of the city off me and get a little wilderness smell on me. Maybe I'll find some nice rocks to collect while we're out," Veltos replied as he headed outside now knowing she would follow suit wrapping an arm around her waist now and hugging her closer to him.
