Wearing a black dress, she looked herself in the mirror. She looked good. The red lipstick and brightened eyes illuminated her features, making her appear irresistible and someone innocent at the same time. A smirk formed upon her lips. The very notion of innocence sickened her yet it always worked when she was hunting for some prey. Everyone was falling for it whether it was women or men, heterosexuals or bisexuals. Everyone wanted to see the good in her. They get to see a perfectly timed façade, which would lead to their inevitable demise. Killing people came so easily to her, it was like breathing. Not only was it refreshing but she likes the anguish in their eyes when the life slipped from their very being.
She would use her magic, or if she were feeling nostalgic to the past, she would use a simple dagger. As it was, today she was going to go out into a nightclub and see what she could rake up. It would not be hard for her to find someone who at least would possess some sort of potential. Viktor usually told her when she was to kill someone but he knew her better than that. She needed death on her hands on a regular occurrence.
Licking her lips, she pushed her curls behind her right ear and twirled. Oh did she not look good! Satisfied with her efforts, she left the hotel room and went out into the street. For a while, she walked around the strip, looking at the potentials until she saw what she was looking for. Whatever this club appeared to be, she could sense the power radiating off it. Subtle notices told her it was a supernatural bar, more than that in truth. It looks more on the lines of being a vampire bar. Vampires were species she really did not like, though in truth she did not like most species except her own, but she liked the idea of danger. There would be others like her in the bar but her blood would be seen as irresistible. Another way to attract her victim it would seem.
Marissa would still have to exact some caution. Vampires could be hard to kill, even for her. Though she has killed a few in her time, she has also had to acknowledge that there had been a few times she has been close to death. What ended up saving her was her siblings. The thought of Viktor flushed her cheeks, heat radiated at an alarming rate. Viktor will be proud of me and he will be mine. The danger was simply too alluring. Whether it was vampire or another species, she did not care. The calling to kill could not be ignored.
Entering the bar, she realized there was more diversity than what she first realized. Though a great many vampires were here, a lot of other supernatural were making they comfortable. Slowly walking to the bar, she sat upon one of the stools. With an innocent smile and a twinkle in her eye, she asked if she could have a drink. The bartender gave her a smile in return and told her that she could have whatever she wanted as she was such a pretty lady. Pretending to be shy about his compliment, she asked if she could have a cocktail, anything he could think of. While she was waiting, she looked about, absorbing the atmosphere.
