- Impulsive: Cece makes many of her life choices without thinking, she frequently does exactly what she wants when she wants to do it. Of course, that's exactly what got her into this mess in the first place, but Cece has never really been the type to learn from her mistakes. Being adopted by a wealthy family does wonders for a girl with impulse control issues. For Cece, nearly everything in her life had been handed to her on silver platter: friends, money, job opportunities, you name it, she got it. As a result, she doesn't know how to say no and she has never seen the need to think through her decisions. Cece's adoptive family was extremely overprotective of their adoptive children, Robert Sutton was quick to get his daughters out of any and all trouble, what else was a father to do?
+ Charming: Cece grew up among the socialites and as a result, she had learned how to charm her way into the hearts of many people. There is a certain level of sincerity in her words, but above all, Cece is an opportunist and a chronic people pleaser. She is very much aware of the opportunity she has been given, after all, the Philippines is a long way from New York City. She chooses to put her best self forward in an attempt to make suer that she fits in and belongs with the in crowd.
- Vain: Appearances are everything and while Cece is not truly concerned about her physical appearance, she is concerned about her reputation. Cece is faced with the fact that she was adopted nearly every day of her life, her friends frequently make jokes about where she is actually from, though she has done her best to keep that a mystery....however difficult that is when it is a frequent bragging point of her parents. Ultimately, Cece wants nothing more than to fit into the perfect life she has been given, she not only wants to play the part, she wants to look and feel the part. Nearly everything Cece shows to the world is an act, every outfit was carefully chosen, every statement quickly fussed over, every social event ranked in order of importance.
+ Intelligent: She would never outwardly admit it, but Cece is actually quite intelligent. She excelled in school and took pride in her work, though she would grump and groan to her friends the entire time. Cece enjoys learning and wants to use her talents to achieve her dreams; she had big dreams that she is aware will take a lot of work.
- Naive: Cece has spend her life sheltered by her parents, they wanted nothing more than to protect her from the cruelness of the world. A world that they believed they had saved her from. Her parents are convinced that they had saved her from a world of child slavery, child labor, and the grotesque nature of the third world. As a result, they refused to allow her and her sister to do much of anything. Until graduation, Cece did not have to provide for herself in any sense of the word.
+ Driven: Cece has big dreams for herself, she wants nothing more than her open her own dance with special classes integrating special needs students. Unfortunately, Cece doesn't exactly know how to get started and as a result, she is still relying on her parents to provide her with everything. There is a desire to move past her parents support, but the appeal of her own dependence is slightly stronger than her own dreams.
- Dependent: To this day, Cece still lives in an apartment that her parents pay for. She works at a job that her father got her through his connections, and lives off the money that her parents still give her. Cece has no idea of how to function on her own, she is entirely dependent on other to provide for herself. Cece also fears being abandoned, perhaps related to her adoption. She fears the idea of being left to her own devices for too long.
+ Responsible: Despite her fun loving appearance, Cece tends to be the responsible one of her friend group. She always makes sure to show up to work on time, rarely drinks on work nights, and is working to save some of the money that her parents have been giving her.

History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]
Cece was born in the small village of Apayao, located in the Phillipines to Tala and Rodel. Tala was a seamstress that had five other children and no money to support any of them and Rodel, well, Tala didn't speak much of Rodel. All that is known of him is that he was a traveler and he never stayed in one place for very long. It is suspected that Rodel has fathered a fair number of children during his extensive travels, however, he has never bothered to contact any of these women again. Tala never saw Rodel after their chance meeting in the marketplace. Cece was all she was left with to remember him by.
Child number six was too much for Tala to bear, many of her children were frequently ill due to poor nutrition and she lacked the money to properly care for them. The woman worked all hours of the day and night to provide for her children, but it was simply never enough to make ends meet for more than a few days. Unable to provide for her children, and no prospects of better opportunities, Tala chose to leave her children in the care of the proper authorities, a group of social workers volunteering in the area on a study abroad program.
These young men and women made it their mission to provide Cece and her siblings, along with many other children that had been abandoned by their families struggling with poverty, new and better lives.
Richard and Angelica Sutton, unable to have children of their own after several years of trying adopted Cece when she was a year old. With no information about Cece's birth parents or even her real name, they dubbed the infant Cecelia Louise Sutton and vowed to protect her from the harsh realties she could have faced. Richard was a loving, yet distant man, caught up in the challenging market of investment banking and making a name for himself at a young age. Angelica was a philanthropist, working with non-profit organizations around the world.
Cece grew up as a spoiled child, never wanting for anything. Her parents provided her with the best of everything: Cece attended the best private schools, wore the best clothes, everything was given to her. Richard and Angelica believed that her year of deprivation would make her different from the other children she was surrounded by (Angelica read one too many stories about the challenges adopted children face) and overcompensated greatly. They wanted nothing more than for their lovely daughter to fit in with everyone else.
Cece was a loving child however, energetic and personable, hardly stopping for a moment. She seemed to transition into her new life quite well, which was easy enough considering she had been too young to remember anything about her life before adoption in the first place. Making friends quickly, Cece wanted to blend in with her friends and despite her parents openness about her adoption, Cece never talked about it. She brushed off jokes about where she came from or why she looked so different from her parents. She immersed herself in the lifestyle her parents had provided for her.
In high school, Cece excelled in many of her classes, though Math and Science always seemed to elude her. The girl made friends easily enough, a core group of friends quickly formed in their tight, secluded private school bubble. She found that her passion was in music and dance. Her parents had started her early in classical dance courses as young as three years old, but her true love came when she entered high school. It was there that she discovered how easily the movements came to her and how the music flowed through her instead of around her.
After graduation, Cece chose to attend NYU to major in dance. While many of her friends jet setted off to various countries around the world, Cece stayed close to home to follow her dream. Despite her parents providing her with everything, Cece took a job as a dance instruction at a small studio in Manhattan.
The Night Cece was Bitten
Class had ran late that night, her next performance would be next week and Madame Lumiere insisted that they were not ready. Night after night, they rehearsed endlessly, not stopping until the wee hours of the morning when their feet were surely blistered and their muscles aching. Cece had quickly packed up her things an called a cab, hoping to get a few hours of merciful rest before the daylight would bring. She waited outside of the studio patiently, texting her friends to complain about the insane French woman that was definitely going to start haunting her nightmares. Cece had followed this routine countless times before, cab ride, hot shower, straight to bed until the alarm went off in the morning. Unfortunately, the night would not end the way she had predicted.
Rumbling in the darkness caught, Cece's attention, pulling her from her virtual conversation. She moved into the light, peering into the darkness hoping that the cab would arrive soon.
Cece doesn't remember much of what happened after that rumbling turned to growling, but she does remember the pain. Searing pain like she had never experienced before, running from her shoulder to her ribcage like she had been lit on fire. She does remember waking up in the hospital bandaged and bruised with her parents staring over at her with a worried look on her face. The doctor said she had been bitten by a stray dog. The next moon, taught Cece the truth in the hardest way possible.
Present Day
Cece has been a werewolf for three months now. Three painful transformations have left her fearful and alone, she has secluded herself from her family, withdrawn from the university and gone into hiding.
