Personality
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Despite the meaning behind the man's name, Kgosi is humble, kind, and incredibly grateful. Everything he's worked for in his life, he values to the fullest, and he takes nothing for granted. In his own eyes, there is no bigger insult to anyone, including themselves, than to waste the talents you have been given, or stifle anyone else's. Unlike most of the Were species, he has always viewed his species as a blessing, a reward for the hard work he has done all his life. Human, Were-being, Shifter, Hybrid, Dragon - it doesn't matter what you are in his eyes, you are an individual with unique capabilities that should not go to waste.
As far as social interactions go, Kgosi is a man of unmatched kindness and respects. He holds himself with an air of poise and class, yet does so without retaining a pompous image. He consistently finds things to talk about, a gift he was given apart from his incredible speed and immortality, and his fast tongue is a huge part of what gained him his status in the world. Kgosi prefers to have friends over enemies - as most would - and always attempts to be civil. Even if provoked, he will maintain a level head and respond with respect. After over 5,000 years of walking this earth, the littler things have become truly insignificant in his mind.
Gifted with a brilliant analytic mind, Kgosi reads everything about a person that he can gather from their mannerisms. The way they hold themselves, their handedness, the way they talk, which foot they lead with when they walk, etc. The little details scream importance in his mind, and not just with people. He will take in everything he can sense, often using his acute hearing and sense of smell before ever getting involved in a situation. He recognizes most people by their scents, and can identify them before he can even see them.
Should he ever truly anger, Kgosi becomes unusually cold. His respectful comments turn to snide remarks and biting sarcasm that betrays his typical demeanor. While he does maintain a level head on the outside, inside he will be teeming with rage and fighting back a shift he might lose control in. Kgosi is by no means a violent man, but if enough is done to incite his anger, he blood and sulfur will rain from the skies.
Love is not a foreign emotion to one who's lived as long as Kgosi has. He has loved and lost many times, humans and supernaturals alike. He is not distrusting of women because of the times his love life has failed, and he feels he's lived too long to hold onto any grudges that may have ever come from a partnership that ended sourly. While he is much too busy to put himself out there, should he meet the right woman, he just might consider it.

History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Born in the year 3298 B.C., Kgosi has lived a long, eventful life. During his mortal youth, he'd worked hard as a warrior, caring for his tribe and eventually becoming its champion. He was showered with praise for incredible feats of speed that outmatched any they had ever seen before, even from beasts, and the way he utilized these feats to provide for those he called family. The Shaman in the tribe, Hila, was told to have lived hundreds of years with the work of his magic, and he saw fit to share this gift with Kgosi - only, through a form that made much more sense. A ritual was begun to make Kgosi one with the land itself, and Hila turned him into the first ever cheetah werecat as a reward for his merits. This gift was one he accepted with open arms, and, to his people, it made him their god.
Kgosi's first full moon was one the tribe had prepared for, as part of their ritual. He was placed into an arena that was dug ten feet into the ground, one that was lined with cages. When the full moon finally came and his transformation began, a few of the cages opened to reveal lions and tigers that he would showcase his ability against. As it was his first shift, it was incredibly painful, and he found it rather hard to control himself, but his animal instinct kicked him into overdrive. Having been capable of overpowering a lion before his gift was given to him, the increase in speed alone was enough to make him triumphant in that arena, and his people roared out in praise.
Over time, he learned to control himself in his shifts entirely, and the enhanced physical abilities made him the most incredible hunter the tribe had ever seen in generations. He eventually took his father's spot as its leader, and, with Hila at his side, he would rule it for thousands of years. Under his influence, the tribe expanded in not only territory, but power. Pacts were formed with neighboring tribes to exchange resources should any find themselves lacking, and this was the start of what would end up leading Kgosi to the Ivory Tower Stocks.
After being responsible for the well-being of his tribe clear through the introduction of Christianity, Kgosi figured it was time for he, and Hila, to move on to other things and allow the mortals to reign over themselves. The two began to wander the world, stopping through every bit of civilization they could find to learn things about the locals of all parts of the world. Once he moved past his life as the head of his tribe, Kgosi learned many things, including the reality of other "Deities" like himself. Others with similar gifts existed, though it unfortunately turned out that these people were not as heralded in other parts of the world as they were in his tribe. Slowly finding Vampires, Werewolves, other Shamans - or Magi, as they were called - or just anything that didn't qualify as "human" became his life goal. There was an incredible fascination there that he could not deny, and his heart bled for those who faced persecution because of the gifts they were given.
For more than a thousand years, Kgosi and Hila devoted their time to providing safe havens for "supernaturals." They would form small colonies, much akin to their old tribe, specifically for these people. It took time, and it took patience, but all the while, the man learned that this was something he would be doing for the rest of his life. These people needed allies to deal with the growing persecution they would face day in and day out, and who better to provide them assistance than a man who has lived since before the dawn of modern religion?
Fast forward many years to the start of industry in America. By this point in time, Kgosi had used his almost unlimited resources to finally settle down and make a permanent imprint on the supernatural community. He founded a company that would be a front for them, while maintaining significant influence over the regular mortals: The Ivory Tower Stocks. Over time, this company's influence only grew, which was something Kgosi heavily capitalized upon. He would reach out to any and all supernaturals he could find, offering them safety and security. Once the world finally learned of, and acknowledged their existence, he stepped forward as an active representative of their community. Despite the problems caused in New York by the pack of werewolves belonging to Drake Bellatorem, he seeks to once and for all end the segregation and persecution his people have had to face for countless millennia, and finally achieve coexistence.
