Father Dmitri:

We received the new child to the orphanage although we have no more resources to get more children since winters are harsh and food is almost no more. But the child's story broke my heart; the one whose name is Zoya lost her two parents and was left alone to the wilderness with no relatives to attend her. I am not sure if the story about her is true but it is harrowing indeed that makes me shivers; a story colder than Russian winter, and our winters knows no mercy.

I never knew that I would live after this day, but what I saw, I keep to myself and shall be doing so until the end of my time; because no one would ever believe me, and being accused of madness is not one of my preferable times. I was on a hunt looking for what may nurture my family for the week; perhaps a deer or something similar in nature. It was a full moon cold night; I had my arrow and bow on me tracking the trail of my prey until I found a woman by the lake by the sheer force of coincidence since it was rather difficult to notice where she kept her hiding.

When the radiance of the moon fell upon her; she screamed! Although, I am not sure if it was out of ecstasy or out of pain. Still, when I drew near trying to give her proper help; I saw the woman in her fours while her body was suffering from - I am not sure what to call it. But the woman was changing into something else, her bones shifted from what we knew as human to something else. Indeed, her clothes were torn to pieces and in their place she had fur. I couldn't take note of her face, but after the change was complete, my eyes saw a Siberian Tiger.

I ran for my life thinking that the woman was possessed with demons, but whoever was she; she didn't think of following me.

Artyom:

The day I found Zoya; she was already a newly turned Werecat. It was me who helped her when she was attacked and infected by whoever attacked her. After our initial meeting; I found myself drawn to her gentle and sweet personality. However, I noted her mild obsession about her parents and specifically her mother. I remember Zoya visiting her orphanage to speak with Father Dmitri about what happened in that night; she tries her best to uncover the truth..whatever the truth is.

Despite my continous advice to drop the matter; Zoya refused to submit to my wishes, she believes that her mother is alive somewhere and that she must find her.

For what end? I am sure that it is vengeance..

Conscript Sofia:

The Germans are keeping pushing through our lands and they want Moscow between their hands. But we had to make our stand even if Stalingrad is almost lost to us. Zoya killed another two today with her sniper rifle with two consecutive shots and relocated before the Germans would be the wiser. I never had seen a woman with this athletic abilities, not that I complain, on the contrary, I am quite that she is by our side.

Usually Zoya tends to be more talkative, but when the nights of the moon come; she stirs in anxiety. I wonder why, but I never dared to ask since she had this aura around her which makes a bit difficult to pose questions of personal matter. Regardless, when the moon nights come; Zoya disappears from our camp and not only that, I hear the Germans cry - and they do so in horror.

Anna:

It was quite peculiar request from Zoya to look for someone. I mean; she is a good detective with a good senses. Yet she came to me in the end with a picture of a beautiful woman drawn by pencil. The picture was given with a name provided as Anya Belkov, which makes my task a lot much easier. Another information; Zoya is more than sure that Anya is not in Russia.

I have to make some phone calls. Zoya helped me in many occasions; it is time for me to pay the debt.
