With Kgosi's plan in motion and the Werewolf Original's pack still making a mess of things, the King decided to meet the one who was giving him such a hard time. He had plenty of resources, and as such it wasn't hard to find out where Drake's pack, and in turn, Drake, frequented. He came across the Fire and Ice diner, which he knew to be well within the pack's territory, and this was where he was going to end up meeting him. It was a meeting that was long overdue, and he was going to show he wasn't even close to intimidated by the competition by coming onto his territory. As a safety precaution, he wouldn't come alone. He'd bring men, though they were human, and wouldn't really stand out as help. Entering the diner roughly a half-hour afer his allies, he would find a seat at the counter. "Can I get a water?" With a kind smile, he'd place a $5 on the counter and slide it to the worker. For now, he was just going to wait until Drake showed his face. He could hardly remain unknown, as he was practically a celebrity at this point, so he wouldn't hide it - not that he felt he needed to. If things went sour, the fact remained that there wasn't a soul - human or not - that could ever match his speed, and there was no shame in running to fight another day. // Drake Bellatorem Charlemagne

Lately, he'd spent more time at the diner than his own apartment and saw more of the pack than he did his own sister. Even as the pack's Beta, she was as fleeting as a fallen star. She had taken to the human world a lot quicker than he had and years of being a wolf to simply please him had robbed her of such normal behavior of being human and she was out to experience them all at once. Every once in a while, he'd get a were on the doorstep of the diner announcing that she had sent them there and viola! he'd have another pack member. So even if she was away from the pack ninety percent of the time, his sister was still doing her part, where ever she was. Which was fine with him. It left him to actually take care of the matters at hand. Securing a territory in the large expanse that was New York wasn't an impossible feat but it certainly meant some serious man power. The diner was a good start and, with the ever growing number of pack members, it was easy to push the boundaries out further. Drake was happy he'd been able to secure central park within pack territory. It meant a place for those tired of shifting in dingy apartments or security lockers a place to shift under the light of the moon and experience the real potential of being a wolf.
The little bell on the door chimed his entrance and he moved to his favorite spot by the bar where his breakfast was already set up for him. Cam, bless her heart, had made sure everything in his life was perfect including not have to wait for anything he needed. As one of the remaining pack members from his European days, Cam probably knew him better than he knew himself. She was a step down from his own sister, however, but it was nice to have familiarity within the pack. It helped keep order. And by Cam owning the diner and the apartment building upstairs, she was able to set up housing for those of the pack who otherwise had no where else to go. She had given Drake the one up he needed to see his vengeful plan succeed. By making sure those that lived in the apartment building above stayed out of trouble and got the help they needed, she, in turn, made them get jobs and live honest lives. Some worked, here, in the diner.
He lifted his glass of orange juice and just before he took a drink, he froze as the air in the diner shifted and he caught the scent. If he'd been in his wolf form, the fur along his spine would have stood on end. Feline. It wasn't rare to get different supernatural in the diner, after all, they were a diner but this was the first for an Original besides himself to grace the diner with its presence. He made a point to turn in his bar stool, rest his elbows on the counter and glare at the source of the smell. "Haven't you heard that dogs are natural enemies of cats?" He asked him, his dark eyes glittering. "Especially when they tread too close to the homestead." Drake probably wouldn't have announced this particular conversation across the whole of the diner if there had been humans within but currently, only the staff and he were present.

The immediate aggression Kgosi was met with made him chuckle as he sipped at his water. Shaking his head, he politely put up a hand to show he very much disagreed with the statement, and his reasoning was to follow. "You are an Original, who has lived for thousands of years, and yet speak of nature as though either of us follow its order. I mean no disrespect, though I find that to be quite humorous." Taking yet another sip of his water, he would set the glass down and turn to face the evidently territorial canine. It was understandable that he'd get defensive seeing unknowns on his home turf, however, Kgosi saw his territorial nature as nothing more than hypocrisy. The Cheetah had been setting up a dominant presence in NYC since long before the Charlemagne pack settled into town, so as far as he was concerned, they were encroaching upon his home. If anyone had the right to be territorial, it was him. Yet, this did not show in his disposition in the slightest, as he would treat Charlemagne with utmost respect.
"No need to feel threatened by my presence, Drake - your reputation simply precedes you. I wished to meet with you on your own territory simply because this is where you are safest. There are matters I'd very much like to discuss with you, if that's quite alright." As a formality he was almost certain would be shut down, he extended his arm and held a hand out to the other Original. "Kgosi is what they call me."

Drake eyed the Original with a look of defiance before setting down his glass and heading over to his table. He slid in, one arm resting over the back of the chair beside him. He supposed he would need to remember that this new world he was in required a bit more delicate conversation. Everyone was so damn polite and never came out and said what they were thinking. He needed to remember his sister's strict lecturing on this. So, here he was, sitting across from someone he would have loved to speak his mind to, smiling politely. "You're right, of course. No point having a stand off if you came out of peace." One of the werewolf waitresses brought Drake's meal over and slid the five back towards the Original. "He's on the house, Linda." he told her before she nodded and retreated into the kitchen. He turned back to him.
"Kgosi... Can't say I've heard of you before." Truth. Since the day he became the werewolf original, he'd only cared about his tiny inner circle. He hadn't cared about the outside world, let alone other supernaturals. When he finally got his hands on the moonstone, he'd devoted his time to remembering how to be human and planning his revenge. Even now, sitting here in the diner with a bit more about the world under his belt, he really didn't care about the other Originals or even, the other Supernaturals. They could all burn in Hell for all he cared. He just wanted to destroy those who ruined his life and if anyone got in his way, well, they'd regret it. If this Kgosi, or whatever his name was, stepped aside and let him be, then he'd have nothing to worry about from him and his pack. Kgosi appearing at his ground zero wanting to "talk" wasn't good news and Drake already had an inkling of what he wanted to say. What was false about his statement was that he had heard the name from living in New York City but he'd never bothered to care about the name itself. He knew he was the CEO of some big conglomerate and probably a respected name but other than that, Drake didn't care to know the Original.
He had no doubt Kgosi already knew his name and skipped the ridiculous pleasantries and instead jumped to the punch. "Why are you here? Certainly someone such as yourself wouldn't be seen eating a scanty breakfast in a dingy old place like this?" He indicated the fact that he had only ordered a glass of water.
