She hides behind her sense of humor most times, deflecting from personal issues instead of facing them. Despite this, she’s a very likeable person. She’s very intelligent and cunning- though she lacks the patience to really do something with it. A lot of the things that Ollie does is on impulse- when she isn’t cooped up in her studio, she’s out having fun.
Ollie is a fierce, free spirit that lives for having fun and getting the most out of her life. Whether it’s a spur-of-the-moment road trip or a night out on the town, Olivia is ready to go. A lot of the times, her responsibilities to her pack hold her back from what she truly wants to do- which drives her up the wall. She is extremely loyal to her friends, family and pack and will do everything in her power to see them safe. It’s often said that she’ll stop at nothing- pulling no punches and taking no prisoners.
With someone as witty and fun and easy to get along with like Ollie- it’s sometimes hard to remember that she isn’t exactly human. An unfortunate truth is that she doesn’t really like humans- stubbornly stuck in her ways and refusing to forgive them for her family’s treatment in the past. Life was hard as a young woman that was born hundreds of years ago. Women didn’t have rights, medical practices were dodgy, and there was no electricity. Or internet. The horror. Despite this, Olivia lived a rather normal, boring childhood- having being born and raised in Harper Valley. Normal for a werewolf, I mean. She was the baby of the family- doted on constantly by her father and her older brother Issac- even though she tended to be a massive pain in Issac’s ass. As the Caine siblings grew and gained more control over their… wolfiness, they branched out and time passed. Their father unfortunately passed away, and the mantle of Alpha was passed onto Issac.
The Caine family spent most of their time hiding their true nature from the rest of the world- considering that relations between the humans and the supernaturals were rather strained at the time. Of course, it was hard staying on the down low as immortal creatures that didn’t really age. The werewolves of the Caine family were forced to leave or go into hiding every generation or so- to keep the family secret.
Olivia spent most of her time studying- learning languages and taking up several occupations during her lifetime. She spent time as a nurse, eventually progressed to a full-blown doctor, a teacher, an accountant, and even a news anchor. Though Olivia always felt the pull of adventure- often times shirking her duties to her pack as Beta and travelling across America- sometimes even straying up into Canada. She always returned home eventually- who else was there to drive her brother up the wall?It totally wasn’t because she missed him and her pack.
