[attr="class","ishytemplate"] [attr="class","ishy-title"]Shifter-Magi [attr="class","ishy-content"] [attr="class","ishy-subtitle"]Community Shapeshifter-Magi Hybrids are not known to have their own government or any known large group but because of their parents species they are prone to being involved with a coven, pack, or even a small family rather than being alone. Shifter-Magi Hybrids are often used as Magi familiars or protectors due to the long history between Magi and Shapeshifters. [attr="class","ishy-subtitle"]Appearance In human form they appear as normal humans. Once the Hybrid chooses their animal they then take on the appearance of their chosen animal including any birthmarks or scars on the body. [attr="class","ishy-subtitle"]Strengths The Hybrid is able to use basic magic (cannot have magi specialties) but their main gift is shapeshifting. They are able to shift into one animal of their choice and are able to change small features such as eye color or hair color. By puberty they usually choose their main and only animal if aware of the ability at the time. [attr="class","ishy-subtitle"]Abilities Just their their shifter parent, Hybrids even in Human form they have heightened senses and quick speed, and while in animal form have the ability to mimic the abilities of any animal they take on. In most cases the Hybrid experiences their first shift unexpectedly as early as the age of four or five but in rare cases the ability doesn't manifest until puberty. They are also very good at sensing approaching danger, whether it be a certain scent that makes them uneasy or a gut feeling that consumes them. Just like their shifter parent they are able to fully control their shifts and are completely aware of their surroundings and actions while in animal form. They can shift at will and aren't susceptible to changing because of a strong emotion or urge, though to most shifting can become extremely addicting.
