biography
Born to a single working mom James was the man of the house at an early age, forcing a sense of responsibility on the young boy as he grew up. Long hours at work left James home alone for the majority of his childhood, leaving him to find ways to entertain himself. In school James found it very easy to make friends but because of a learning disability he wouldn't discover until high school his grades suffered. So much so he was held back a year, to his mothers disapproval. Despite his poor grades however he was a very talented in sports and used his athleticism, and charm, as a way to get by in school.
By his senior year he was well known and liked, by most anyways. Known as a ladies man James used his good looks to charm any girl he wanted. That was until one of them ended up pregnant. After being told she was keeping it James's priorities were quickly shifted. Still, because of his sports career James felt he could support for his child. James managed to graduate from school despite his poor grades. His security blanket would quickly be pulled away from him his freshman year of college when during a game when another player accidentally kicked James in the leg with his cleats, shattering his knee cap. Because of his injury his scholarship was lost.
With no scholarship James couldn't afford college and therefore had to drop out. James then began working as a Bouncer as it was the only thing he was actually good at considering most of his school days were spent on training instead of studying. After almost a year of depression he sought out his old friends and the ones that remained in Vegas. It was then he witnessed one of his friends shift into a bird and instead of freaking out an idea struck him.
Now James and his shifter friend Evander run a street performance business at night, using Evanders shifting ability to make money for the two while James finds a better means to make money to support his child.
