Soon as he was able to walk, Jay was a troublesome handful for his parents Clarence and Marie Harms. He had quite a temper and really hated being told what to do. Unable to handle him, Marie left him and his father when he was only three. Clarence tried to instill some discipline in him the best he could and it started to work from what Clarence could tell. For a few years, Jaden seemed to be on his best behavior.
By the time he was ten, Marie and Clarence were back together. Everything seemed to be going good. His powers came in when he was thirteen and his parents taught him control. Once he learned how to use his powers, however, he killed his parents and fled their small town as his home burned to ashes. He has travelled the world over the decades, acquiring lots of money on top of the wealth he inherited from his parents.
Jaden has also acquired quite a reputation and has been known by many names; Jay, The Rev, and most recently The Cleaner. He is something of a jack of all trades, especially when it comes to more questionable lines of work. He has dabbled in it all and strives best in the shady areas. He is best known to the supernatural and occasional human criminal as the go-to for their messier situations. If they don't want to be caught or implicated, Jaden will make sure they won't. However, his help doesn't come cheap.
Much like the devil, Jaden's price for his service is heavy. Not only is money part of the exchange, he also requires more. This is especially the case if you are a regular customer. Depending on the type of clean up, dealing with him can be quite risky. Eventually he owns you for however long he decides you'll be usefull to him.
