biography
Born in Greece as Viktor Etychius now known as Viktor Stavros he belonged to a well known family of magi, but despite having the magi gene he proved to be unable to practise magic and as such he showed none of the magi abilities. The rest of his family including his siblings were able to practise magic and some being were even considered formidable. Throughout his childhood and the first few years of his adult life he felt inferior when he compared himself to his siblings this feeling of inferiority caused him to choose the path of the warrior at the thus at an early age he was trained and taught with this path in mind by a number of mentors and instructors. With choosing the warrior's path he was later subjected to the horrors of the battlefield which could have broken most, but Viktor survived whatever was thrown at him and seemed to thrive in such an environment.
No matter how skilled and how accomplished of a warrior he was there were still moments when his parents made him think nothing he did would ever compare to his siblings, his parents were disappointed that one of their children couldn't practise magic and their disappointment was something they made no effort to hide. Before he hit his thirties Viktor soon found himself in some trouble that ended with him being turned into a vampire by the original vampire Kaia. The original vampire was addicted to magi blood and despite his magi gene remaining dormant his blood was addictive too, however because of the dormant state of his magi heritage his blood wasn't as addictive as an active magi. He should have died right there and then, but Kaia showed pity and saved Viktor by turning him into a vampire at the time he was her only living progeny with the others having been destroyed a while ago.
Others would've probably resented or hated Kaia for turning them into a blood drinking monster, but after Kaia taught him how to control himself and how to survive as a vampire he instead showed gratitude. He had previously had an inferiority complex due to his inability to use magic and his parents putting him down, but with now being a vampire he felt superior for the very first time. With becoming a vampire the dormant magi gene finally proved to benefit him in some way it granted him an unique power one that other vampires wouldn't have it was this discovery that he started to feel even more strongly about being and believing this was what the fates always had in store for him. The unique power he was gifted with was the ability to create illusions, which he can do a lot of things with including making him appear as someone the target knew and can even created powerful illusions that would make the target believe they are on the verge of death the pain would seem real.
Once he had learnt to control himself with help from Kaia he went on to help his maker with the addiction to magi blood she was afflicted with, but it was no easy task. He was grateful to Kaia for saving him and felt like he owed her so helping her with the addiction was in part a way for him to kinda pay her back and the first step of showing he was loyal to her. After he helped Kaia with fighting her addiction Viktor went on to travel the world and at first he did this with his sire by his side, but after a while they ended up parting ways for a while. During his travels he ended up getting himself involved with a lot of conflicts and took part in a number of human wars and it was during one of these wars he ended up finding love. He found someone who could love him or at least the version of him he allowed others to see, but with after a while the woman he had come to love tried to kill him upon learning of who he was and what he had done.
With viewing the attempt on his life as a betrayal he displayed no hesitation as he ripped his former lover's heart from her chest and with action he made sure not to submit to love again. It was after this betrayal that he started to make more of a name for himself some knew him because of him being a man of his word, others knew him for his vicious side and what he did to those that betrayed him or didn't keep up their end of a deal they made with him. After his lover's demise by his own hands he went on to travel some more during which he became aware of specific species that were thought of as impossible for most of the supernatural world. He learnt of the existence of hybrid creatures from a friend he had met in the past and how the vampire kind of hybrids were created. Even with knowing this information and despite wanting a family on some level he didn't act on this information until much later in his life.
