We'll go down in history, remember me for centuries
The thousand year old vampire had settled into the back of the club, relaxing into a plush booth. The last thought on his mind tonight was blood. No. He was on a different kind of hunt entirely. Someone to sate his curiosity and cure the overwhelming boredom that he was feeling as of late. There was only so much of Sin City that someone could take before they grew tired of the daring and dangerous. Humans could be stupid sometimes, and he really was looking for company of a different. Preferably a person with sharp teeth and the same state of mind as him.[break][break]
Running a hand back through his hair, he sipped lightly on his drink, not really caring to down it too fast. There was plenty of time for that, he was sure. He'd actually found himself drinking more and more as the days wore on, often teetering on the edge of sobriety and all our drunkenness. Maybe it was the fact that he wasn't feeling as inspired as he usually did, or maybe it was all the flack that the supernatural world was getting. Especially the werecreatures and vampires. They were apparently the most dangerous. While Las Vegas seemed to be rather open minded about the whole situation, he himself had been with met quite a bit of resistance to the idea of the supernatural world. The supes were getting sick of the bullshit that was targeted at them, and Nikolai could only imagine the fall out that was just on the horizon. Something was going to happen sooner or later, and if Nikolai had his way, his entire family would be living in the mountains, feeding off of livestock and staying out of the public eye.[break][break]
Setting his glass down, he tapped at the table eagerly, his eyes scanning the floor of the vampire night club. He hadn't spotted anyone who really interested him quite yet, but that could be fixed with a bit of mingling. He wasn't going to get to know anyone if he didn't get off his ass and throw himself into the throng of bodies dancing on the main floor. Pushing his glass away, Nikolai rose to his feet, slinking out to the middle of the dance floor. He moved and grooved for a while, but no one caught his eye. He soon found himself settled at the bar, his arms resting against the surface, "Could I get another whiskey? Straight, no ice." Sighing heavily, he turned and leaned is back against the edge of the counter, his hand picking up the new glass of drink, bringing it to his lips. Gods, it was boring.
