| Roxanna is as stubborn as a mule and doesn't like the word no. Unless she's saying it herself. She has a hard time respecting authority and doesn't like to be told what to do, thinking by doing so she would lower herself to their level. If she wanted to do something she would do it whether anyone liked it or not. She loves the attention though, and would not deny that although she wouldn't admit it out loud to just anyone. Often times her wild endeavors was just a way to act out on something she didn't want to do, or someone she wanted to show off too. Her rudeness is as harsh as her sarcasm. She doesn't have a problem telling you what's what and what she thinks about you. Manner’s don’t exist for her unless she makes the rules herself. Roxanna also gets a kick out of messing with random humans, with their heads and their bodies. And don't try and tell her she's wrong because frankly...she doesn't care. Roxanna loves the thrill of doing something others wouldn't. She could be dared to do almost anything and she would do it without hesitation. Even before she discovered she was a werewolf she would go to the extreme just for the thrill of it, not caring if she was injured or died. Now that she is a werewolf she feels almost invincible, even though she really isn’t. | |
biography
With an alcoholic father and her no good of a mother, there was a good reason why Roxanna kept her personal life a secret. Her father was a construction worker and her mother was a bartender at the local bar in town. After they met they hit it off and soon was married. Once she got pregnant though everything went downhill from there. Constantly fighting with each other their short marriage was on the rocks. Soon after Roxanna was 3 Roxanna’s parents split, her mother taking full custody over her. The next few years of Roxanna’s childhood would be that of a normal child growing up in broken down ghost town her own mother grew up in and so on. Hunting, cursing and drinking were nothing to her and by the time she was a teenager she had became a part of the life she had always been surrounded by, even though with her mother’s efforts to keep her straight she found herself back in the same bar her parents had met. Although for a single mother it was hard to survive when Roxanna turned 16 she had to accept a new person into her life, her step father.
At first things seemed to be working in her mother’s favor. The man she was set to marry was financially stable and he had a good reputation. Even though Roxanna never accepted any of her mother’s men she had to deal with the new addition. Once the honeymoon was over and things settled down did the truth really come out. First came the beatings. Although not noticeable at first it seemed that almost anything would set him off. Roxanna retaliated but was instead beaten down herself. Then right before her 17th birthday her step father was drunk one night and while her mother was out he locked her in the room and raped her. Feeling small and pathetic she didn’t tell her mother and even though she continued to fight him off he was too strong. She feared if she told her mother she would only be hurting her even more. During this time Roxanna started to really act out in school. She started wearing dark make up and listened to rock and roll along with taking up drinking and alcohol. By Roxanna’s senior year she was known as the school’s ‘bad girl’ but that wouldn’t last long as she would ultimately decide to drop out.
Once old enough she moved out of her mother’s house and away from her step father. With no other place to go she moved in with her friends in a small, run down apartment in New York City, a long ways from home but the more distance between her and her home the better. One night on her way home from the night club that was just outside of the city she took a short cut down single lane road with woods surrounding it. She kept an eye out for cars to hitch a ride but there was no one in sight. As she approached a small graveyard she saw a figure near one of the grave stones. Curious, and a bit recklessly she walked over towards the figure without knowing what was to happen next. Before she knew what hit her she felt a burning sensation hit her arm, making her fall to her knee’s. Little did she know she got too close to a shifting werewolf and now she was infected herself. Thankfully for her the werewolf was old enough to control herself and ran off before doing anymore damage. Roxanna eventually made it home but struggled as her arm was bleeding and swollen from the venom coursing through her body. She didn’t want to go to the hospital, mainly because she had no insurance so she put some alcohol on it and left it to heal.
Before the first full moon since the attack Roxy decided to visit her mother in her hometown, which also meant seeing her unfavorable step-father as well. Still Roxy loved her mother enough to be able to deal with her step-father but it all would come to a hefty price. The family fought and eventually the truth about Roxy and her stepfather's past surfaced. When her mother found out she tried to retaliate against her husband but he retaliated back. At this point Roxy was tired of him laying a hand on her mother and herself and in a moment of rage grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him to death. In the end Roxy felt relieved but without warning she suddenly shifted into a wolf. Because of her intense rage and emotions it triggered her change earlier than normal. At the time Roxy had no idea what was going on and quickly ran from her mother's house just as the police showed up. That night Roxy spent the night in the woods and she has not returned to her mother's house since.
