COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness
New York City, the city that never sleeps. As far from her family as she could get without crossing the ocean. After arriving within the state the girl had gone on a search first and foremost for somewhere to stay. She'd taken the first available hotel room that she could find. A shitty little motel on the outskirts of the city, but at least it was somewhere to sleep besides the street. Once all of her belongings had been deposited into the room, Lilith had taken to wandering the city. She wanted to get to know the streets, to learn everything so that she never got lost. Walking through the crowded streets was nothing new to the wild young woman. Though she was pleased to see the many different shops that she would have to remember to come back to later. If she was going to live here then she would need to find a job as soon as possible so she could survive. The money that she had left from working before leaving home was very little after paying for her flight here.
Hours had gone by just walking around the city, down street after street. Until the most beautiful of all buildings stood right in front of her, practically calling to her. Eagerly she made her way up the steps, admiring the front of the museum. Lilith got through the lines and stood amazed at the entirety of it all. Art was the biggest part of her life and to be in one of the best museums in the world was the greatest feeling. Slowly she walked through, taking minutes to stop and admire each and every piece. No attention was given to any of the other people walking around. They were nothing but bodies in her way as she walked through and found the closest place to home for her. If she could put a bed inside the building she would live here for the rest of her life. Content to admire all of the beautiful art work in this building for the rest of her life. Lilith stopped in front of a painting, arms folded across her stomach as she stood there and just let her eyes pick apart every little piece. It was nice to pick apart something else for once instead of having someone pick her apart.

Liu's sapphire eyes flashed as she lifted her face to the moonlight. It was cool, a night time breeze nipping at her porcelain skin. The Werecat was perched on the edge of one of the buildings roofs, her fingers gripping the concrete border. With a low growl, she pushed off, diving towards one of the lower buildings, her body maneuvering itself at last minute so she landed on her feet, knees bending to absorb the impact.
She rose, crossing the roof in long strides, her eyes cat-like with dustings of her transformation clawing to be released. Liu held it back. It would be dangerous to reveal her true form in a city like New York. So, she simply let her instincts flow in human form. She pounced again, ricocheting from wall to wall until she was on the ground in an alley way. Just as she turned her head, her eyes landed on a dark haired woman with the lingering scent of a tiger on her.
Liu's heart stuttered in her chest. She would always have a soft spot for the tigers. She came out of the alley to see the woman disappear into one of the museums. Curiosity got the best of her. Blinking her eyes, letting them go back to normal, she walked into the museum. Reaching up with petite fingers, she tucked her midnight hair behind her ear, allowing her senses to direct her to the Werecat.
She stepped up quietly beside her. "This piece is a very well - known piece. You're dissecting it... what do you see?" Liu asked, glancing at the woman before landing her eyes back on the painting. Her words were soft, kind, and welcoming. Typical Liu.

COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness
The tigress could only imagine how wonderful it might be to have her own work showcased in a museum like this. Though she held very little value to her art compared to what was stored here. Lilith knew that she was good, but no where near as good as these artists. When she got old and died no one would care about her work. Except for perhaps the people whose bodies it was inked in to. The difference between her art and this, it was like night and day. Of coarse she liked to think of herself as night in that scenario.
So focused on the beautiful artwork, Lilith had been oblivious to anyone following after her. Not exactly smart on her part with the possibilities of who it could be. However she knew the stench of tiger more than anything, which kept her safe. The leopard woman's scent didn't go entirely unnoticed, though Lilith never imagined she'd be approached by her. Blue eyes flicked to the woman who came up beside her, tense but not unfriendly. "I dissect a lot of things." She speaks with a grin on her face, teasing the woman a bit because that's just how Lilith is. Her gaze moves back to the beautiful starry night painting and she can't help but to sigh. "There is pain but unity, calm but mourning. It's an intense painting of raw emotions splayed out in each different piece of the painting. The sky for example. See how chaotic the sky looks? It is a swirling mess of both pain and uncertainty. But the village, so calm and peaceful with it's bright lights." Needless to say the woman knew a thing or two about Van Gogh and his work.
She turned then, facing the other woman with her arms still folded. "Do you know anything about the painting?" Lilith was curious to know if this woman had any idea what Starry Night was. Did she ask the question because she really wanted to know, or because she wanted to start a conversation? Not that the tigress minded having a conversation started or anything. Though she wanted to know just how in depth she could get with this conversation.
