we must be K I L L E R S CHILDREN OF THE WILD ONES
The pack was small but soon enough it would grow massive in number. Drake had picked the perfect city to start building their army. At first the pair had been skeptical of coming to New York to build their empire. The longer they stayed though the more they realized just what a great opportunity they had in coming here. Drake had specifically chosen New York, but it would only be the beginning of things. With the vast fortune the siblings had it was easy to procure a home for themselves and the pack they would start. Almost immediately Drake began to bring in new members. Not just by recruiting, but by turning certain individuals that were deemed acceptable. The Charlemagne had a very specific criteria when it came to choosing humans that they would turn. Of course they had to make sure that they were discreet about the whole thing. Couldn't have anyone catching on about them just yet, not until their army was strong enough to withstand any backlash. So far the pack was still very small, not at all ready yet.
Adriana had found Roxanne when the girl had just gotten to town, a lone wolf who needed some guidance. She had surprisingly taken a liking to the girl and decided to take her under her wing specifically. Show her how a real werewolf lived and did things. Today Adriana had been itching to get out of the apartment and see what Brooklyn had to offer to the girls. The streets were bustling with people, humans and Weres alike. Oh the trouble the pair could cause here. It made the shewolf giddy with excitement as they walked down the sidewalk. "Look at them Roxy, each one of them just begging for it" she cooed. Brown hair flowed around her face, blue eyes lit with the fiery spirit of her wolf. Jeans clung to her legs and hips, flat stomach bare to the chilly breeze. It might look strange wearing a turtle neck sweater that stopped just above her abdomen in fall, but she didn't care. After all her kind had a core temperature that ran hotter than any normal person. Lips curled in to a sly smirk, flashing all the silly little humans her most charming smile. "Where, oh, where shall we start my dear?" Adriana was anxious to have some fun today, even if it wasn't nice playing with your food.

[attr="class","qwe"] Notes: n/a [attr="class","qwe"] Tagged: @adriana [attr="class","qwe"] Other: outfit [attr="class","qwer"]It wasn't Roxy's first time in the city unlike her companion but it was the first time since her accident back home. Admittedly at first she was scared to return to the city after what she had done but other than the small hick town she grew up to despise New York was her home. It was also the place where she was blessed with the life of a lycanthrope and she had figured if there was one hiding around somewhere, there had to be many more. Wolves were pack oriented so it was easy to assume Werewolves would adopt the same habits. A pack was something the young blonde pup needed, not just for the sense of comfort and familiarity you would get when surrounded by family but for learning purposes as she still struggled with control over her wolf form on full moons, despite her immediate acceptance of it all.
When Roxy met Adriana the reality exceeded her expectations of what she would find in the city upon her return. Not only had she found a Werewolf pack, but she found the pack. So when Roxy was offered a place within the pack and after some time by Adriana's side she most certainly didn't think twice. Her eyes blue eyes scanned the immediate area as she tried to get a sense of where they were and where she wanted to go. Roxy would willingly follow Adriana anywhere she wanted but if Adriana needed help being pointed in the right direction Roxy wouldn't hesitate to do it.
"Look at them Roxy, each one of them just begging for it" The corners of Roxy's pink lips curled up into a small smile. Roxy was thankful to have found not only a pack who had the same views as her but another she-wolf as well. Despite Roxy not being an immortal wolf she still placed herself up high on a pedestal and it was a breath of fresh air to have someone as high up as she was too. "Where, oh, where shall we start my dear?" Roxy's mind pondered the question as she continued to follow alongside Adriana almost perfectly. The two were still on getting to know terms so she wasn't sure what Adriana's preference for fun was but she could only assume so far their preferences weren't so different. "Well, it's no fun fucking shit up sober." she said in a thick Carolina accent and a grin that only meant one thing. Trouble. revenge is a dish best served cold Crossing the seas and leaving centuries of memories and memorized territories was surprisingly easily for Drake. In fact, he wasn't even sure why they hadn't thought of it before. They had lived so long in the Eastern countries that each blade of grass was familiar. Not here. Everything was new and everything was up for grabs. Drake had spent the last countless centuries seeking a way to exact his revenge and so far, nothing had come into his grasp. But moving to the Americas, there were endless possibilities and Drake didn't want to pass them up. It wasn't hard to get Adriana on board, either. She was probably just as bored as he was. For Drake, though, the actual hardest part was the leaving part. The moonstone had done it's work of allowing him to return to his human body and gain control but it wasn't without some effort. Everything set him off ranging from lust to hatred. Even something as simple as his feet not touching the ground had the possibility of setting him off. They chose flying as the only safest method seeing as a ship had the potential to make him either A, sick or B, annoyed. A wolf stuck on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no control on its blood lust was a disaster waiting to happen. At least on a plane there was booze, nerve calming meds and would touch solid ground in a third the time of a ship. Perhaps it was good they waited till the twenty-first century to travel to the Americas.
Of course, like any new immigrant, they arrived in New York City, minus the statue of liberty. The process through customs took the longest, especially considering Drake still had his thick Romanian accent and little patience for the woman behind the desk who was telling him his ID and paperwork didn't match up. He very much wanted to reach behind the desk, grab the woman by the throat and proclaim for all to hear that he was in fact four thousand years old and should be gleaned the respect of a God but luckily Adriana was there and the woman merely got shot a nasty glare before they were hustled through the last of the paperwork.
The City was a lot louder than Drake anticipated and he had to flinch against the harsh sounds. He'd spent the last hundred years or so deep in the heart of Romania, in his family's castle he'd bought at an auction in the early 1800's and spent his life restoring. It had been the only thing that had kept him calm and human. Of course, being isolated was not something a wolf could understand. He had a constant need to bring others to him, to create bonds but he lacked the proper social skills needed for such familiarity. He was known for taking many men and women over the years to his castle and biting them, much as he'd done with his own sister but the lack of a bond before the bite had them screaming and running from the castle, leaving him, yet again, alone.
There were hundreds bitten in the time he spent at the castle before he was reunited with his sister and was able to bring his loneliness under control. Drake had never been without his sister, since the moment he could crawl. She brought about him the man he used to be and was able to calm the beast inside. Without her, he'd most likely become a rampaging beast and bite or kill, anyone who stood in his way. She was the reason he was able to bring his head around and get back on track for his revenge scheme and it was because of her, they'd managed to find their way to New York. Already, Drake had felt a change in the way he felt, in the way his wolf felt being here. It was power. It strummed through his veins like a toxin. He wanted nothing more than to set their plan in motion but Adriana reminded him that it was better if they took things one at a time, stay under the radar until they had a decent enough sized pack to withstand even the strongest of vampires. It wouldn't be hard though, considering around every turn, Drake caught a scent of a were. It was even funny to think that perhaps, long ago, he'd bitten the ancestors of some of these wolves.
Today, Adriana had told him of one new recruit she'd managed to find and where he could meet up with them. The moonstone cool against his chest under the blazing warmth of the sun reflecting off the metal skyscrapers, Drake took the steps two at a time from his apartment building and headed down the street. Already, his wolf was anxious to be set free, to teach these humans to fear him.

we must be K I L L E R S CHILDREN OF THE WILD ONES
The city was like a large playground, one that she enjoyed being in every day. So many new faces were out on the streets every day, it was nearly impossible to meet the same person twice. This was home now and would be for as long as Drake wanted it, or until something happened. Adriana refused to believe though that anything bad would ever happy to either of them. After all they had made it through four thousand years already. Roxanne had so much to learn from the immortal leaders and plenty of time for it. Adrianna truly enjoyed having another girl around. She had always thought it would be nice to have a sister to do some of the more girly things with that Drake simply couldn't be part of. Though no one would ever come between the two siblings. Practically twins except for perhaps a few personality traits that Adrianna inherited over Drake. Such as patience. If not for her they might have been sent back to Romania.
As the girls walked down the sidewalk, she had sent a text to her dear brother. She wanted Drake to join them on their little outing, especially so he could get to know Roxy better. The shewolves were growing close and Adrianna didn't want her brother to feel left out or anything of the sort. At Roxanne's suggestion of getting drinks, Adrianna couldn't stop the wide grin that spread over her lips. "That is so true. Let's grab Drake and we can head to the closest bar." Her words were a coo of excitement as the tall brunette kept walking. Hips swayed as she moved down the sidewalk, putting them closer to where Drake's apartment stood. Blue eyes fell upon her over sized brother and the woman let out a soft yip. Giving Roxy a small tap on her arm Adrianna walked over to her brother and jumped up on to him, forcing him to either catch her or let her fall. With so many humans around they had to give a more discreet greeting than what their wolf side might prefer. "Hey Drake" she said with a smile, glancing back at Roxanne and nodding her head. "Roxy here had a great idea that we should grab a drink. Care to join us?"

[attr="class","qwe"] Notes: n/a [attr="class","qwe"] Other: outfit [attr="class","qwer"]"That is so true. Let's grab Drake and we can head to the closest bar." Her mischievous eyes turned light and surprising at the mention of the alpha wolf. Roxy had yet to have the pleasure of meeting him but ever since she met Adriana it was something she had been looking forward to. There were so many different variations of what she thought he might look like but when Adriana ran up to the man Roxy could only assume was him her wild imagination was nothing compared to the beautiful reality. What stood before her was no man. But an ancient beast trapped within a large body just big enough to contain it. She could only imagine what he looked like during a full moon and like a curious child desperately wanted to know. Would it be the mirrored image of the classical Werewolf with its grotesque humanoid shape, or possibly something a bit more sinister? As much as the thoughts should have scared her they only intensified her interest in their species history altogether.
While the siblings greeted each other Roxy began to marvel over the statue of a man, admiring his features from top to bottom. She didn't want to offend the alpha wolf on their first official meeting, but by god he was gorgeous. "Roxy here had a great idea that we should grab a drink. Care to join us?" When Roxy heard her name being mentioned she snapped out of her daze and finally greeted the alpha's gaze with her own and a smile. "I know where the best bars are in town. They're not too far from here either." revenge is a dish best served cold Among all the other scents in the city, hers caught his attention instantly and turned just as she tackled him. In an instant, he had his own arms around her and held her tight, his wolf squirming with joy to be reunited with her. He had never felt such joy and bond with another human being in his life. Even his own mother. In the era he and Adriana had been born, children were not raised by their mothers but by wet nurses. The duty of the mother was wife first, mother second and as soon as Adriana was born, their mother was done with them. Adriana was the only other human being that had given a care as to his well being and by becoming a wolf, the family bond that held them together got all the more stronger.
He let Adriana go as she pulled away and brought Roxy to his attention. He could smell the strong scent of wolf on her and smirked. She certainly hadn't been bitten by a novice. He could smell the strength and power she possessed, even if she didn't know it yet. He found his eyes wandering, scoping out her body size, strength and potential. He found himself proud of his sister for finding a member that had all his requirements. "And you must be Roxy." His accent was rough but certainly not grating to the ears. In fact, it gave him an exotic facade like a sexy heathen God. His eyes, probably once a beautiful hazel color, were now several shades closer to yellow and even his canines seemed a little more pronounced than normal.
"My sister speaks highly of you. Finding the perfect bar would be an excellent start to proving yourself." His voice was suggestive but the look in his eyes were mysterious and elusive and there was even a hint of something mischievous. Beneath is shirt, he felt the moonstone pulse through his very core, fighting back the wolf that was demanding to be set free. He turned away from Roxy at that point, struggling to contain himself. Even the slightest emotional change had him losing control. Sooner or later, he would need to give it and take the moonstone off and take a run before he exploded and people got hurt in the process. That would come later, when he set his plan in motion.
