biography
Sun, or Sunny as she prefers to be called, was born in Seoul, South Korea to two very loving, human parents. Her mother was a dancer, and her father worked for a company that made all kinds of weaponry. From a very young age, she had an extreme interest in singing and dancing. She would always dance and sing around their little flat, without a single care in the world. When she was six, her father got a new job in the US, and they promptly moved to New York City, where they placed Sunny into a private, and very prestigious school. She excelled in school of course, her parents settling for nothing less than perfection from her. She obviously didn't ever disappoint them, either.
As she grew up, she started to show more interest in science, especially engineering and mechanics. She developed a love for action movies, which also helped to, with the additional help of her fathers career, develop her obsession with weaponry of all kinds. When she was ten, she asked her parents to put her into karate classes, to which they agreed. She enjoyed being busy, to be honest. She enjoyed having all of these things to do and learn, and she embraced the business in her life. Her father started to teach her about his business and the various kinds of weapons that one could use.
She continued to explore her interests all the way through High School, taking up various other forms of martial arts, while also sticking with her dancing and singing as another, gentler past time. She kept her interest in science, delving into books and research about anything and everything that had any relation to the subject. Her love for engineering and mechanics spread to cars, and when she was sixteen, she bought her first junker. At first, her parents were skeptical, but within a few months she had completely refurbished her car to it's former glory.
Sunny graduated high school at seventeen years old, and instantly placed herself into college, starting out in the early access program at one of New York's more prestigious universities. She studied both engineering and psychology as a double major, and interned at her fathers company, making arms and weaponry of all kinds. When she was nineteen, and was in her very last year of college, she was pulled aside by the Sentella and asked to join their ranks. Her skills as a mechanic and her clear knowledge of weaponry was what pulled her into the world of the supernatural.
She was thrown into field training right away, and by the time that she turned twenty two, she had become one of the more accomplished hunters of the Celesta division. Currently, she works as one of the Sentella's main mechanics and weapons experts, while also continuing on with her own field assignments. She helps to train new recruits from time to time, but not if she can absolutely help it. Thus far, Sunny has become extremely proficient in most types of martial arts, as well as being very skilled with all types of weaponry.
