Immortality seemed like a curse at times for as long as she had live so far. She'd already lived the lifespan of one human's average lifetime and yet here she was still looking as young as she did when she was actually twenty-five years old. She'd seen so much change around her she was the only constant that never did as least physically anyways her mind was always still growing and expanding the more she learned and the cultures she visited. She never like to dwell on the past much it only served as reminder of how weak and niave she had been. Such reasons were the reasons her parents were dead and she was alone now. Sometimes she wondered if they hated her for her actions back then whether they were looking down on her now and what they must think of her now. Sometimes she wished she was just a mere human so she didn't have to continue on like this forever but then she always tried to remind herself of her optimism. How she wanted to believe things would get better for her eventually. Sure she had a pretty god job now and all the things she could ever want but that seemed to matter little without a companion by her side. Such thoughts always led her back to Romulus Lupercus. A werewolf like herself and the first love she had ever had. How they met wasn't the ideal way she wanted to meet a potential mate but she'd fallen hard for him so easily. In the end it seemed fruitless and that his desire for revenge for his parent's murder was most important to him than she was and she couldn't stand that. As much as it hurt her to do so she left him feeling she would just be a burden and get in his way if she stayed. She had to wonder if he hated her too now for leaving him like she had and wondered if he even thought about her still as she did him.
She would sigh a little pushing some locks of her snow white hair out of her face before tossing some bread to the ducks. Shadow seemed to notice her sadness and whimpered a little as he sat before her head in her lap now as he looked up at her. She'd smile softly at that and scratched his ears a little before tossing him a piece of raw meat now to which he happiiy growled and dragged it off to the shade of a tree to enjoy in private now. She told herself leaving him was the best for him but then why did she feel so guilty? Was it because she still loved him and missed him so much now. He had been the one thing that made her feel truly happy for once like she belonged somewhere again. Even if she wanted him back it wasn't possible now. She had no idea where he was now or what he might be doing. If he wasn't still seeking his revenge then he was probably happily married now or dating some other woman now. She was probably just a faded memory to him now and maybe that was how it should be. She tried to move on but beign a werewolf kind of limited her dating pool. Humans were too difficult to deal with and feared losing control and turning one by getting intimate or angry at one. She didn't know what to do right now and tried to blind herself with her work but lately it didn't seem to help as much as it once did. She was tired of being alone and didn't want to spend the rest of eternity alone she longed deeply for a companion now and she had to move on now once and for all.

Romulus was walking around to clear his head. He found himself doing this more and more between his jobs with the Messor and his occasional, but becoming more frequent fights at the arena he found himself walking inhaling the breath and the scent of the city. He long for the smell of Italy the salty sea air and the smell of Italian herbs and spices emanating from every household as bread was baked or pasta was rolled. His stomach growled and he sighed. He never seemed to stay full for long and not for lack of trying while he was training he'd devoured everything he thought might be edible just to test the limits of his digestion, and had been horribly and wonderfully surprised at the things he could stomach. He found himself walking through sunset park the land was pretty large and full of flora and Fauna and he could feel his wolf stir at the scenery, but he ignored it. He looked at his watch and marveled at the time he'd been wandering for hours now and he didn't feel the slightest bit of discomfort or soreness. He wasn't even winded! "Even after 20 some odd years my stamina and endurance still amaze me." He said to himself as he caught the whiff of something familiar a werewolf of course, but there was something in the scent that broke back a feeling of nostalgia and happiness. He decided to follow the scent and see where it lead him. Probably just some kind of Italian food that would bring back memories of his mother or some such either way he was going to find out what exactly was bringing back this feeling?

Being an actress had it's good times and it's bad it certainly kept her busy during the times she rather not be sitting around doing nothing so she couldn't dwell on the past too long. Doing so always got her rather depressed and sad really. They were happy times mind you not bad ones but she had always been so emotional even as a child. For the longest time she'd been so happy and felt alive but finding out what she was changed all that and suddenly her world was turned upside down making friends wasn't as easy as it once was. Still those had been the days training long and hard to master her senses. Her sense of smell was usually a blessing until she encountered a skunk or passed a sewage plant then she felt like hurling so much. Still the things she could do as a werewolf now were pretty amazing and she was quite famous too as the wolf of the snow with fur so white like snow and so soft too but only one male had ever felt such warm fur to actually touch it and admire it without losing his hands. It was after leaving Romulus and Italy under the cover of the night that she met Shadow her grey wolf companion an attempt to replace the man she left behind but in the end he had grown on her and became a faithful companion going wherever she went but she always amde sure to allow him plenty of time in the wilds usually when she had to undergo her change under a full moon she'd yet to harm him yet something to do with pack mentality probably like how only her mate could calm her down during a transformation induced by rage. She'd noticed his scent long before he probably did hers and knew it was him she never forgot a smell like a mate and knew running would be pointless close as he was now he's just follow her until he reached the source as she reached out to tear off more of her italian bread now and tossed it to the ducks who quacked with much joy as they fought to gobble it all up now.

The smell was getting closer he could almost taste it and yes there was the smell of Italian bread albeit store bought not handmade like he was used to, but none the less there was a second smell as well and that is what really drew him. He came around a stand of trees seeing a woman with snow white hair and a piercing gaze as she fed the ducks. He scratched his chin as he looked at her drinking in her features one at a time before a mental picture formed and he knew exactly who this was and why he had this feeling. "Myra." He said looking at her as he walked up to her. So many emotions were filling him right now, anger for her leaving him with a dear john letter, guilt at having drove her away with his vendetta, happiness at seeing her again after all this time. He took a deep breath calming himself before looking at her and speaking. "You haven't aged a day I see." He said then again neither had he for the most part he would guess by looking at his reflection in the pond he looked about thirty his actual age, but give it another thirty years and he'd still look the same. Never to age going from day to day year to year as time passed him by. He would see things most humans would only dream about in the decades to come. He shook his head he could worry about his immortality later right now he had something to take care of. "How have you been Myra?" He asked crossing his arms as he looked down at her.

She supposed after all the time she spent with him some of his tastes and passions had rubbed off on her like his love for italian food since he was born in Italy after all. Every chance she got she would order out some authentic italian food especially lasagna it was her favorite most of all. The last time she saw him she had cut her hair pretty short in her futile attempts to look younger but it never worked her hair always rapidly grew back after a change happened to her. She'd look up again and there he was just as she remembered him being if only a little rugged looking from fighting probably it'd always been another passion of his a male wolf trait she knew. "Romulus-kun." she replied as he spoke her name and clasped her hands together in her lap now as she stood now to better look at him now. "Nor have you you look as handsome as ever." she replied smiling softly now. It seemed different than before time had changed him a little as it did anyone like what they were. Humans could only dream of the future and what it might hold but people like them could actually see it if they didn't meet an uneventful end they could live forever and see so much in their lifetime things that would blow one's mind. "I'm an actress now and I still like to travel a lot as I did back then." she replied pushing some hair behind her eas now. "And what of you did you finally find that peace you sought with your parent's killer?" she asked looking to him again now.

Romulus looked as she spoke his name it stirred something within him a deep longing in him he wanted things to be they way they used to be with her and him together. He'd taken a big risk getting personally involved with her after the case, but that was the happiest year of his life, but even with that happiness he couldn't let go of the fact that his parents were murdered he couldn't let that stand, and because of that he wound up pushing her away from him. HIs thirst for vengeance was all encompassing and before he knew it she was gone and he was alone again in that deep darkness alone. "Cosa stai facendo qui?" He asked speaking to her in Italian those were the first words he'd spoken to her when they first met. he coughed trying to get himself together so he could speak english without losing his temper. Of course Romulus could speak English quite fluently, but in times of stress or great shock he tended to revert back to his native tongue. "I did find them, but that didn't ease the burden of what I had lost." he said sitting on the bench next to her. "I would like to think that this is more than mere coincidence, but we both know better don't we?" he said looking at her. "so it is your profession that brings you here is it?"
Translation: What are you doing here?

Myya would look to him gauging his reaction to her suffix of endearment as was the norm of her culture to do so out of habit. It was easy to see doing stirred something in him a sadness of sorts and longing to be with her again. Of course she knew it was against his job at the time fo the case to be together but she hadn't cared she really wanted to be with him but she couldn't be in the end when his desire for revenge took over importance to her. She could respect his need to avenge his loved ones but she couldn't be apart of that it was a dark path revenge and it was easy to get lost in it to lose sight of the light. "Just enjoying the sights in my free time between filming." she replied looking to him again as he questioned her being here he was clearly just as surprised as she was to run into him here of all places after so long thinking they'd probably never see each other again or that the other wouldn't care to see them again. "I am glad then you could find closure at least Romulus-kun it makes me happy to know so." she replied as he sat down next to her now and leaned against him now head on his left shoulder now. "It was fate it seems. I've longed to see you again for so long and here you wish granted." she replied looking up at him now with a soft smile. "Yes I have been filimg a little for my latest movie here but I am on break for now so I am free to explore and see the sights as I wish to." she replied eyes meeting his now and smiled.

Romulus never did get the whole honorable suffix of the Japanese culture. Myra had tried to teach it to him back in Italy, but it never stuck Japanese was harder to learn than English, and that was saying something. English had all kinds of slang and different pronunciations. When he'd first arrived here he could barely understand anything anybody said it was like they were speaking at super speed or something. It was true he didn't have room for her and his revenge in his life, and he didn't want to make that decision so she took it upon herself to make it for him and left. "I hope you're enjoying yourself Caro." He said to her as he sat down feeling her head on his shoulder. How could she be so calm and gentle after all this time they had been apart for several decades now and yet she acted like they'd only been apart for a few hours. It touched him deeply that she could still be this way after all this time. He sighed as he looked at her. "it makes me happy that you can still be this way after all these years. I feel as if we're back in Italy again riding the Gondola down the water way as the moon rose above us." he said stroking her cheek.

It had been quite the challenge trying to teach him Japanese and it's tradtions when he was so used to his italian upbringing and ways of doing things. He managed to pick up a few things alright but the language itself was lost on him but she took well to his italian language and could speak it quite fluently now as she could several other languages though she was still working on her English when she spoke it was broken at times and didn't sound natural to her. She'd heard of this slang when visiting New York which was quite confusing really she wasn't sure she would ever understand it anytime soon and didn't really care to right now. Romulus was stubborn he didn't want to make the choice of her or his revenge and which mattered more to him and so she made the choice for him to respect his wishes and give him the time he needed to sort out his life before he could know whether he truly wanted her in it still and whether there would be future between them like marriage and pups together. "I am now my haikai." she replied with a smile as she leaned against him now and was glad he didn't seem to mind maybe he did miss her a lot and wanted to be with her again now she could only hope so. "My feelings for you have never changed my love and perhaps for our anniversary we can do so again." she replied and purred at his stroking of her cheek clasping his hands in her own now as she looked up at him now. "I'm sorry for leaving like I did Romulus-kun and if you can find it in your heart to forgive me I'd like to pick up where we left off and try again." she said nuzzling his chest now affectionately now.

Romulus nodded. "Las Vegas is a city of many interests it's hard not to find a place that would curb your interests here." He said. When he'd first arrived here he'd hated the noises the smell of the big city it was so overpowering he'd nearly passed out. he'd had to retreat to the mountains letting the noises slowly become accustomed to him as he sat on the city limits. He shook his head at that. "I don't think so Rome is not safe for me any longer. I couldn't fallow through with my revenge I couldn't kill them, and because of that I know they will be on the look out for me. Maybe in a hundred years or so I will once again be able to return to my homeland but at that time I doubt it will be the city I remembered it as." He said looking up at the sky. "Humanity marches forward at a steam engines pace destroying and rebuilding again and again erasing the past to make way for the future. They don't seem to understand that you can't know where you're going unless you know where you've been." He sighed and then chuckled a little. "I've been a werewolf for what over thirty years now and I find myself identifying with humans less and less. Is that how it is for you my love. When you look at a human do you see some strange creature you could never imagine being?" He asked as he looked down at the ducks in the water. Romulus shook his head patting Myra's hand. "There is nothing to forgive love and yes being with you would make me very happy indeed."

Myra would smile sheepishly at that and simply nodded. Gambling was the biggest hobby around here but she didn't care much for it or the noise. That was why she had gotten a penthouse it was high up from the ground the noise was minimal to whatever the people in the other rooms were making. She'd sigh softly at that sometimes she cursed her abilities it hard to tune out all the love making noises and it only served to stir up her inner wolf who'd missed Romulus just as much if not more than she did she'd grown used to having another wolf to run with when Myra changed into her. "I understand so perhaps my native home then I always said I wanted to make you try my favorite japanese cuisine like sushi." she replied looking back to him now and then the night sky her eyes resting on the crescent moon now it wouldn't be long before a full one came around again it seemed. "Every species struggles a bit in it's own way as it tries to carve it's mark onto the world so that it will be remembered always." she replied looking back to him now and smiled sheepishly at his comment and question now. "I've been around over a hundred years now and I still only know so little about humans they evolve so fast in such a short time but being an actress has given me ensight into what the human female really enjoys in human men and it's not much different from us really." she replied blushing a little at that. It was amusing really how humans tried to picture their kind in movies some things they got right and some things way off. "Well still I feel better saying it to you because I love you Romulus and I always will with all of my being." she replied before leaning in and captured his lips in a kiss now closing her eyes now. "I'll always be there for you for as long as you want me to be there." she replied smiling at him again now.

Romulus entered the casino only after a successful mission to celebrate gamble a little and then call it a night afterwards. He was a very frugal person never willing to spend more than he absolutely needed to. Las Vegas was a very open city people did all kinds of unspeakable things here mostly because they were tourists and knew whatever they did here wouldn't follow them back to wherever they came. This was also one of the reasons the Las Vegas police department had such a hard time doing it's job, but it came with the territory. He looked at the moon three more weeks until he'd need to lock himself away for one night then he could resume his ritual as usual, then again maybe with Myra here he could afford to let his wolf out for a good romp. He shrugged as he looked at her. "I suppose so." he said simply. He looked at her and then looked away at that not knowing what she meant, but not wanting to ask. Rather be silent and let them think your a fool, then speak and prove yourself one. he thought to himself as she mentioned traveling to Japan. "it would be nice to get a new perspective after all I've been in this city for years now I suppose it would be nice to get away for awhile." He said before his lips were captured and he accepted that this was happening and kissed her back. "Well I expected a warm reception but this is burning hot Myra."

Myra was hardly greedy or stingy with her money really. Senselessly wasting money like that seemed stupid to her if she wanted to do that she would just keep donating to charity like she occasionally did. She stuck with the necessities and nothing more she didn't go on shopping sprees and didn't eat out every night unless forced to she liked to cook for herself when able to do so. It seemed though even female werewolves faced sexism same as human females did but she never let it get to her and Romulus had never treated her like she was beneath him so she had been happy and content when she was with him they were equals until they hit the sheets together then he was the alpha and she like his beta. She wouldn't really push him on the sour subject it wasn't her place to do so in time he would tell her more about his failed revenge and she would do her best to support him in everything he did like before. Usually a full moon alone was a nightmare she had to chain and lock herself up so she couldn't get out and hurt someone if she was in the city otherwise she could roam free. When she was with him though she never had a bad time his wolf always kept hers entertained and vice versa the bruises and cuts when she woke up afterwards was proof of that she though smiling sheepishly. "Then it's date." she replied with a smile before admitting how she felt about him still and chuckled after the kiss was broken. "It has yet to get truly hot casa nova I know you and your plans for me now tonight a little beer and some smoothtalking to get me out of my clothes." she replied with a grin poking him in the chest now. "No one will ever know you better than I can." she added with a smile now nuzzling him affectionately now.

Romulus had always seen being a werewolf as a necessary evil to fight monsters you had to become a monster in his opinion. There were some people in this world who only dealt in extremes and it was naïve to think that anything, but extreme measures can be taken to combat them. He would like to think the world was as cut and dry as it used to be but that was not the case any longer. He looked at Myra she was his weight he loved her dearly and would do anything to protect her no matter what the cost these past few years without her had been a hell he didn't want to have to go through that again. He remembered the nights they'd explored the Roman country side as wolves keeping each other calm and content so they wouldn't go out and hurt someone and spread their curse. He missed that being able to trust himself to transform without hurting someone. "Affirmative." He said giving her a salute. Romulus gasped. "Perish the thought the American beer can never stand against the wine of Italy!" He said. "besides I brought one thing from my parents old home in Italy it is a Amarone wine aged for over 70 years now. I have waited thirty of them so I could share it with you my love." he said standing and holding his hand out to her. "As for smooth talking and getting you out of your clothes well I'll let the wine do the heavy lifting."

In the beginning she hated what she was she wnated to be normal like humans were to have friends and get out to see the world freely without being a cursed. It was only when she lost her parents that that notion seemed to change and being alone in the world until meeting Romulus she learned to be at one with her she-wolf. The world could be a harsh and cruel place being what she was was the one thing that protected her and kept her safe at least until meeting Romulus. Meeting him she didn't feel so alone anymore and her inner wolf no longer seemed at odds with her having a companion of her own as well of her own species. She'd learned that her inner wolf was her true self and that there was no running from who one really was. Maybe she had been a little selfish expecting him to just drop his old life and revenge for her she should have stayed and supported him still through it all but what was done was done and now they could make amends at least and go from there. Having a werewolf of the opposite sex around was about the only thing that could distract a female wolf and male wolf vice versa. She remembered those nights fondly the cool breeze against her skin and fur as they ran along playing games with each other and in the morning after a good romp they'd wake up embraced in each other's arms nothing seemed more romantic than that really. She'd smile at that and then giggled a little. "Fair enough I can't disagree there." she replied and then looked to him as he spoke passionately about the heirloom from his parents and how he wished to share it with her now taking his hand now. "I would love to my mate and well that shouldn't be too hard really." she replied with a purr and a smile now. "And yes I still have your mark on me perhaps tonight you will see it again." she added giving him a playful wink now.
