Ivy Blake

[attr="class","appcontent2"]Despite the way her species is perceived and how her early years were spent, Ivy is actually rather bubbly. Her uplifting outlook can be both good and bad depending on the situation and she is often known to annoy people with her optimism. She is lively and upbeat, her personality is basically always on. She is able to find the good in almost anyone.

However, upsetting her or making her angry is a mistake. When that happens her cheerfulness fades and she instead becomes a lethal force, intent on destroying that which had angered her by any means possible. Few things have the ability to calm her when she reaches this point but it is possible. Even when backed away from the emotional cliff of no return she expects the person who brought forth her anger or sadness to beg for forgiveness.

[attr="class","appcontent2"]For the very early years of her life, Ivy was kept weak and therefore doesn't know much about the start of her life. She just knows she was moved around a lot and used mostly as an unwilling pet to upper class demons. However, her status as pet seemed to change when she garnered the interest of a member of the family. He went by Figaro and he treated her with affection when he could, even offering her more chances to feed. The two were smitten and he made  Ivy's time in captivity bearable at the very least. This continued for years until someone found out and from the yelling she heard she knew she would end up dead. That was until Figaro came to her, freed her from her life as a pet and told her to run for her life. She left without so much as a kiss from the only person to show her affection and was never found by the demons that tried to break her. 

She was in a whole new world now, one where she could be who she wanted and her feeding schedule wasn't heavily monitored and at first she went a little crazy and didn't bother to conceal her feeding, which happened at an alarming rate. But, due to being the start of the 1500s in America being paired with Ivy's ability to change her appearance, people were thought to be insane when they started spouting gibberish about a woman coming into their room at night and feeding off their sexual energy, especially when they gave that energy away by choice.

She settled into colonial America, finding amusement in it's infancy and rebellion against it's mother country. She also couldn't help but intervene when some overpowered British troops were to attack, rather enjoying taking the energy of many of their men until they were too weak to be on the battlefields hours later. It wasn't a big help, she knew that, but she was rather intrigued by the budding country and wanted to see how it would flourish.

More years passed and Ivy began to make deals with demons and anyone else in need of service. She was good at attracting attention with her bubbly personality and bright smiles. When a supernatural wanted someone brought to them all they had to do was offer her a hefty sum of money and the promise of some energy–whether it be from them or their target she didn't care. The business proved to be profitable and she kept it up.

More recently, Ivy has discovered her preferred meal choice; married couples. The thrill of taking the life force of someone married sexually–male or female, she didn't care–gave her a rush and it was even better when she managed to get both of them in one foul swoop.

Even more recently, she met her now best friend and business partner, Cora. The two hit off immediately and while Cora was in the business of procuring deals Ivy was good at finding people in need of one. She chooses to mostly work with Cora now, though she does from time to time broker deals for others but the price for her services are usually rather pricey and unobtainable.
