A fae created from the human imagination when they believed they saw a light they lead them off the path and ended up lost in the woods. Over the years they learned to take on a human form.


They have two forms, in their normal one they look perfectly human. In their fae form they look like balls of light meant to deter travelers off the path.


They are troublemakers by nature that get enjoyment out of leading travelers astray.


They are immortal as long as they continue to do their job as they live due to the human fear of getting lost in the woods.


Can change between their two forms freely.


Are always bound to stay near a forest. They have no choice but to lead travelers off the path or that individual will disappear from existence. Like all Fae Iron is also a natural deterrent for them.


They can reproduce with any species-except vampires-but the will-o-the-wisp gene is recessive and is either there completely or not at all.
