Power: Elemental Magik & Wings and Flight
Power Description: He has the ability to manipulate the elements to do whatever he pleases. He can use fire, earth, water and air but tends to use his fire more than the others. His wings also allow him flight.
Power Limits: He can only use his elemental Magik if he can "borrow" the element from an original source. He normally had Loki to handle that for him but he's learned to deal with this limitation on his own. Scouting out sources before he goes somewhere. Just because he can fly, doesn't mean he's like superman. He can't carry more than his own weight and he can only fly for a short period of time.

[attr="class","appcontent2"]Though the twins had spent their lives creating mischief where ever they went, Ren had always been more laid back and down to business then his twin. At a very young age, his mother explained to him that, as the first born, it was his duty to protect his brother and it may have just been the keystone to his treason in the later years. Ren always felt as though he had a responsibility to make sure nothing ever happened to Loki and it always made him feel less than accepted. Like many demons, Ren lacks a sense of humanity. Some things he just doesn't understand and tends to choose his own route rather than that of others. Family doesn't matter to him. He'd kill his own mother if she was in the way. He's also never been with anyone, male or female. The act of coupling with another being is beneath him, seeming to be degrading of himself. So he has no interest in love or sexual relationships. Since joining the Angels in the quest to kill Loki, he's found that he's not sure where his allegiances are. He certainly doesn't care for the Angels, he'd kill them too if they got in the way, but he is grateful for the divine weapon that doesn't hurt him but can kill his brother. What he'll do after he kills Loki, is still a mystery, even to him. His whole life was devoted around his brother and to suddenly have him done, and with a Divine Weapon in his hand? Perhaps he really had let his brother go the first time...

History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]
It wasn't much of a place but having three solid walls on either side of her was enough for Lilith. She had forbidden Asmodeous from finding her. This was something she had to do on her own. She had told him that the child in her womb would bring greatness to the demons, but she had failed to realize that there had actually been two of them. Identical in everything and each holding a Magik specific to her and Asmodeous. The one she named Loki held his father's power, that of Shadowkinesis and the other, the quieter of the twins she named Ren, had her gift of Elemental Magik. She had them wrapped in a cow skin blanket in a hollow she'd dug out of the earthen ground. The twins were snuggled against each other, tiny wings pressed tightly against their backs, their breathing even and steady. Lilith could only smirk. Not only had she been excited to bring another demon into the world, she'd managed to bring in two of them and already, she could see great things for their futures. Adam and his pathetic wife, Eve, wouldn't know what hit them. She reached out a tender hand and placed it on Ren's head, feeling the heat of the infant's elemental Magik. "Protect your brother, dear Ren. Neither of you will be able to survive without the other."
"What are they doing?" Loki asked, peering around the group of rocks they'd managed to hide behind.
Ren shrugged. "Does it matter? Mother told us all humans are stupid so whatever they do will surely be wrecked anyway. Come on. We still have further to go."
The twins moved away from the rock, continuing further up the mountain side. It was a field they had been searching for. Once more, they crouched down behind some rocks and watched as a boy about their own age used a tool to tear up the ground. All around him, food grew from the ground. He wore clothes made from sheep skin and his skin was darkened from working beneath the sun. Loki grinned mischievously and turned to his brother. "Is this Cain?"
Ren nodded, a very similar smirk crossing his face. "It is. I've noticed there's been some animosity between him and his brother Abel. I thought it might be fun to stir the pot a little bit." he turned to Loki and handed him his weapons. "Don't worry. I won't need those. This'll be easy."
Ren made to move out from behind the rock but Loki grabbed him and pulled him back. "What are you going to do?"
Ren shrugged, a feral look coming over his face. "I'm just going to thin the herd a little bit. Human minds are so fragile. I'm just going to put some thoughts in his head and see what happens."
"This is the town I was telling you about!" Loki gleefully invited, throwing his arms back to introduce the city to Ren who stood frowning at the lack of interest in a plain human city.
"What's so thrilling about it?" Ren asked, throwing his pack over his shoulder, glaring at his brother. "We traveled this far for nothing, didn't we?"
Loki only laughed as he walked up to his twin and threw and arm around his shoulders. "This is the best city along the coast, brother because this city is filled with innocent humans ripe for manipulation. They've been in isolation here, no outside influence. It's like a blank slate for us!"
"What's it called?" Ren asked.
"Sodom."
Ren could see his brother's reasoning and he felt a smile crossing his own face. An open slate, huh? That sounded too good to be true. He nodded to Loki. "Alright. I"ll take the bait. Let's see what happens."
--
Ren was impressed with their work. It hadn't been hard to whisper in a few ears or taint a few minds and now the city was practically in chaos. He sat outside the tavern steps, watching his brother. Protect your brother, Ren His mother's words resignated in his head, reminding him why he continued to stay at his twin's side. He watched him across the street, bare ass naked as he showed two young virgins the glory of their bodies. And he wasn't the only one. Loki's work was really paying off. There was no structure here. Men and women did whatever they pleased. Those things they had kept secret only to themselves were now less then secret. The whole city was a-drip in Sin. Hands wrapped themselves around his shoulders and he looked up to see a woman smiling down at him, eyes glittering with drunkenness. "There you are!" she purred, her hands exploring places he wasn't about to complain about. Humans may be weak and fragile creatures but they certainly knew how to enjoy life. "I want you to do something for me..." she whispered, her breath warm on his neck.
Ren raised an eyebrow but turned to her, standing up. "I told you-"
She giggled. "I know. It's not that. Come on." She grabbed his hand and pulled him down the street, not even batting an eyelash at the indecency around her. She led him towards the center of the city where, raised on a dias, was a burning post and tied to it, was a single man, head bowed and body broken and bruised. Around him, angry people jeered and through anything they could get their hands on, at him.
"What is this?" Ren asked her as she let go of his hands and danced around him.
"This is Marcus." She said in a sing song voice, wrapping herself around him much like a snake would. "He thinks what has happened to the city is against God's wishes and wants us to stop."
God There was that name again. These humans and their weak Gods. "What do you want me for?" he asked her.
She smiled up at him, a devilish smile that just didn't seem right on her face. He remembered her sweet innocent smile when they'd first arrived to the city. That girl was long gone now. "I want you to burn him. Show him who the real God is here."
Ren's blood ran cold. He was afraid that had happened. He and Loki had strayed into the city, carrying weapons and wings bared for all to see. The citizens had immediately thought they had been Angels sent to them but Loki had acted on these ideals and turned their thoughts towards the idea that he and Ren were actually Gods. At first, Ren had gone along with it, finding it rather fun when the humans would bow before them and present them with offerings but something had changed in Ren and he found that their little lie no longer interested him. In fact, he was ready to move on from this wasted city.
He made to move away but felt a strong hand on his shoulder keeping him in place and he turned to see Loki, a cruel smile on his face. "That sounds fun, Ren! Why don't we help this poor man see the truth?" From his pocket, Loki produced two stones and Ren frowned. He never understood why he had been blessed with the Magik of the elements when it was Loki who was the pyro. He always wanted to burn something down. And he was always trying to get Ren to use his Magik by first creating a flame. Loki moved past Ren and walked up to the pyre, looking up into the man's face. "Any last words?" he called. The crowd around them laughed and clapped. The man tied to the post only looked on bravely and kept his mouth shut. Loki laughed. "Suit yourself." He struck the rocks together, creating a spark that lit the straw at the man's feet like lightening to a dry field. Ren felt an energy surge shoot through his body and his hands immediately lit with fire. Why was he feeling remorse? These were just humans. He and Loki had killed many over the years. Why was this one man any different? The woman at his side laughed gleefully as she watched his dancing flames and Ren pushed away the thoughts, walking up to stand beside his brother. THe flames licking at the straw was weak and human made. He felt a rush of power and Ren raised his hands, the small flames erupting like a dragon, quickly eating away at the straw and consuming the man who let out an ear splitting scream as the flames ate him alive. Beside him, Loki was laughing, face alighted with an orange glow. But Ren was filled with a sudden anger. He didn't stop with the man at the pyre. Instead, he turned his Magik onto the houses around them, power erupting from deep within him as houses exploded and people burned. Suddenly, the laughter in the square was replaced with screams as people tried to escape the wall of flames. The woman at Ren's side had stopped laughing and was watching in horror as her city and it's people burned. She turned to him. "Wha-"
He grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off the ground, his eyes as black as charred ash, his wings spreading open like an avenging Angel. They too, were as black as charred ground. Ren enjoyed the terror that entered her eyes. How dare she assume she was safe from his wrath.
"I'm sick of this disgusting place and it's people. You humans don't know how to treat proper Gods. You will burn along with all the others." The hand holding her erupted into flames and quickly consumed her. She screamed out in pain but Ren didn't release her till she stopped breathing. As she collapsed onto the ground, he looked up to see Loki smirking at him. "Couldn't have seen a better ending to this place, brother."
Ren only frowned. He was filled with conflicting feelings and they both angered and terrified him. Why couldn't he have just enjoyed himself like Loki had?
The weapon felt warm in his hand, as if it had truly accepted him and he felt sickened by it. He was forced to use a Divine Weapon to bring down his own brother. It was pathetic. But the feeling was quickly replaced by pleasure as saw Loki on the ground before him, wings torn and broken, body bloody and weak and almost depleted of Magik. He could see his brother's shadows seeping from the wounds on his body. He clenched the handle of his scythe, his mother's words echoing in his head once more, Protect your brother, Ren Damn her! This was protecting him! Protecting him from himself! "Give up, Ren! This doesn't have to end this way!"
Loki spit towards Ren, hatred burning in his eyes. "You're a traitor, Ren! You would bow before the Goddess and beg her help to bring me down! Look at you! Holding a Divine Weapon! You should turn the weapon on yourself!"
Ren felt the sting of his brother's words but his jealousy towards his brother overtook them and he didn't let it bother him. Instead, he brought the blade of the scythe up and rested it over Loki's heart, eyes turning black as the blade burst into flame. "This is for your own good, Loki. One day, you will thank me." He raised the blade to strike him down but he had underestimated his brother's power. The blade sliced through but the body quickly turned to shadows and dissipated. Suddenly, he was attacked from behind and he quickly reacted. Flames erupted along his body and he heard Loki swear and release him. But Ren didn't hesitate, he turned, swinging the scythe with him and managed to catch Loki across the stomach as he opened his wings to get away. It was still amazing to see the impact a Divine Weapon had on a demon. Loki's wound flashed with light and he was forced to his knees with a yell, shadows quickly trying to repair the damage. Ren could see the drained look on Loki's face. His own Magik was killing him quicker than the Divine Weapon was. "I was only sent to strip you of your Magik and return you to an Angel but I think killing you will free your soul. I'm only doing this to protect you, Loki."
Loki looked up at him, smirk on his blood splattered face. "Go fuck yourself, Ren."
Ren glared at Loki and raised the Scythe, hoping Loki suffered but as the blade lowered, prepared to take a killing blow, Ren realized his mistake too late. The only reason Loki hadn't used his Magik against him was because he'd been saving it and as the blade connected with Loki, he was granted a mischievous smirk from Loki before he disappeared. As the Scythe stabbed into the ground, Ren found himself, also, smirking. He wouldn't have expected any less from his own twin. He supposed he could play his game.
