Vegas was truly a unique city. Of all the places he'd resided, this one had the most potential. They didn't call it the city of sin for no reason. Besides the obvious supernatural community that flourished here in Sin City, it was also dipped steep in the black market and Loki made his most business here in the shrouded darkness that was an underhanded world. He was, by far, not the most influential or powerful but he did appreciate the attention he was beginning to draw. He was aware that this particular city was vampire run and revolved around a strict hierarchy but it didn't deter him from gleaning the idea of taking it for himself. He was, no matter how far back you went, much older than vampires, after all. But he wasn't in any mood or position to start that particular goal. At the moment, he was content where he was, watching the games played from an audience's stands. Besides, he still had the problem of Ren... For hiding for so long, he wasn't mentally prepared to allow himself to be known yet. Today, like normal, he brought Anya along with him. He told her she'd been brought along for "company", but truthfully, Loki didn't much care for those types of things. In all honesty, her hatred of him amused him and if he found himself growing bored at the Market today, he could always stroke her fur the wrong way to get her fired up. That thought alone made him smile. He made his way in through one of the many secret entrances and finally joined the crowds of the Market, keeping himself neutral as he blended in. Of course, his syndicate had their own store set up with his logo "Xaradar Enterpirses" splashed across the front but Loki had never made a point to show his face to lowly clients such as the ones here. He was only known by the most powerful, the ones who bought weapons from him for their armies. He walked past his own "store" with a smirk, enjoying the site of a crowd before he continued on, hands stuffed into his pockets. --- Anya Pajari-Belkov Cora Valentine Andrei Belkov

Anya honestly hated this whole thing. She didn't like Loki and she especially hated him dragging her around with him. Regardless, she was actually in a relatively good mood so she had stayed quiet for the most part. She ran her fingers through her hair as they walked around, but eventually she glared at him.
"How long are we going to be here?" she asked. "I mean what's the point in being here if you just want to walk around the place like a headless ostrich?"

Andrei had been looking for his sister for some time now and the longer it took the more furious he got. Until he found who had taken his sister, that was when his smirk grew wide and he vowed to tear his head off but he had to do it carefully. The demon wasn't smart to take his "pet" out in public either, especially when Andrei's bloodhound nose could pick out Anya's scent in a crowd. He was stalking his prey though, slowly and carefully through the market, waiting to decide what he should attack the demon or let her know he was there.
In the end he opted for alerting Anya that he was here for her so he meandered down the street towards them, casually bumping into his sister's arm, grabbing her arm quickly so she didn't jump back and would look at him. "Sorry, miss." he said softly, making quick eye contact before he walked forward to disappear into the crowd once again.

“Do it right this time or your life is mine the next time we meet instead of 50 years from now.” She hissed at a fairly young looking man, appearing in his mid to late twenties but had the face of someone who seemed to be much older. With a strong grip she forced the man into the wall behind him, pushing against his chest lightly before letting her grip on him go completely. One final sneer was all it took for the man to nod, his face clearly fighting off the look of fear that had consumed him by the notion. She knew her point had been made and with a satisfied smirk walked away towards the end of the alley. ”Eight o’clock tomorrow, Charles.” she called out before rounding the corner and joining the crowd of supernatural within the long Market street.
It wouldn’t be too much longer until the she-demon was able to pick a familiar face in a sea of strangers. ”Demon royalty, out and about among the peasants.” she said as she approached the demon, noticing the pink haired maiden beside him and the man bumping into her and immediately took an interest in the two. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it but something about their ‘bump in’ seemed a bit off, the gut feeling that things weren’t as they appeared threw her off but she set it aside as mere indigestion when he walked away and she was left with Loki and the girl. ”Someone must be in a good mood today. Cheat another sap into paying a million dollars for your shiny toys?” Her eyes looked the girl once over before returning to Loki. ”Pet or payment?” she asked Loki, referring to the girl.

And just like that, she fired off and he couldn't help but smile. "You women do the same stupid shit, wander around shopping centers for no reason other than to look at pretty clothes and shoes. Why can a man not wander through a Black Market enjoying the sights? Besides, at least you aren't sitting at home cooped up, am I right?" He was sure it was meant to be subtle but he noticed the way the man had forced his way into their direction just to simply brush past him and grab Anya's arm. In fact, he watched the whole thing out of the corner of his eye. He'd been alive since the beginning of humanity and had seen it all. Did this vampire really think he could pull a fast one? Of course, he decided to wait and play the vampire's game. After all, it might end up being fun, especially if Anya was pulled into the middle of it.
Unfortunately, his attention was drawn away as a familiar scent washed over him; demon. He turned his attention back in front of him to a woman who was smiling mischievously at him. Demon royalty, out and about among the peasants. Of course, she was one of the lower classed demons, one of the subspecies that had branched off thousands of years ago. He could tell by her scent. In retrospect, she was beneath him. Although, he didn't remember the last time anyone had called him 'Royalty'. Probably since before the notion of demons walking among humans had dropped off. Her certainly had missed the sound of it though and his smirk grew wider. "Pet. She cost me a good fortune so I've got to make use of my investments. She's truly amusing. Her hatred for me might just keep her around. Clearly, you know who I am but who are you?"

Anya rolled her eyes at Loki's response to her quip. This was going to be yet another long day, especially since the idiot didn't know her at all. She didn't window shop. She actually bought things. Only idiots with no money window shopped but before she could dumb it down for him, someone bumped into her. She felt the hand grab her arm and geared up to blow at him only to come up short when she actually saw who it was. It took everything in her not to react when all she wanted to do was hug her brother. Instead, she simply nodded and paid him no further attention and simply stayed with Loki. Her head snapped up with a little more interest at the new voice. Her eyes narrowed on the woman.
"She is standing right here," Anya snapped with that overly sweet smile she tended to wear when she was particularly irritated and plotting vengeance. "And if either of you continue to talk about me as if I'm not, I'll tear out both your jugulars. I don't give a shit who you are."

Letting Anya know he was there served a duel purpose to him in this case. He knew he was anything but subtle but he wasn't aiming for subtlety either. He was aiming for recon and that had been accomplished. Two demons, only one knew who the other was while the other didn't know the "pheasant demon." The man using his sister as a pet was demon royalty apparently but Andrei had no idea what that meant. Nor did he care. He also didn't care about the lesser demon unless she got in his way.
What he did care about was that now he had two choices of who this man was. Twin demons. Of course he was dealing with a twin. But Andrei was thorough if nothing else, everything he did was researched and calculated, so he had names to the two possible people. Question was, was this Loki or Ren? Because word on the street was one was looking for the other and no matter which one this was he could bargain or blackmail. But in the mean time he listened, from a safe distance tuning his ears towards the conversation going on so he could see who he was dealing with.

Cora suppressed a giggle towards the cotton candy haired woman. Her fire was admirable, sexy even. She could clearly see why Loki kept her around for entertainment purposes, if not for her resentment towards him but because of her feline oriented species, of which Cora personally found amusement out of the moment she approached and caught the scent of cat. But, as a woman Cora also knew that a female held against her will only become more annoying –and daring-the longer you keep them hostage. This one didn’t seem to have any kind of restraints on her –magical or not- but that didn’t mean the desperate female wouldn’t try to make a break for it. Though she would never admit it to Loki she actually wanted to witness it in action, if only to see the look on Lokis face when realizing he had to catch her.
”Everyone knows who you are. At least in the Market anyways.” She ignored Anya snapping at her, simply giving her a half smirk before returning her attention back to Loki. ”I’m nobody important. Just a curious demon that’s been hearing word of a certain royal planning on taking over the city, so I couldn’t help but come to see it for myself.” Her smirk grew wider, delighting in the thought of demons actually taking control of Vegas. Maybe she should try to do the same with New York when she returned? She let out a dramatic sign as she pretended to look elsewhere for a brief moment. ”Words get twisted around here so I could just be hearing silly nonsense... which I probably am. Though, if they are true, whoever is planning on taking over - I would think anyways – would most likely be seeking out formidable allies to strengthen their cause, and accept any help he…or she was offered. Wouldn’t you agree?” She hinted with a twinkle in her eye, knowing eyes and ears were everywhere so she kept it vague and hoped he understood she was offering her services. Cora wasn’t much of a follower but even she knew the only way to survive was to join the winning side. Out of the corner of her eye she thought she caught a glimpse of a familiar face but put it off for now, more focused on Loki than anything.

It wasn't often Loki got surprised but to hear that his name was being used around the Black Market as a familiar term was both exciting and terrifying. Not even caring what the gesture meant to the others around him, Loki took a moment to look around, fearing his brother had also made his way here. The way Anya had let slip Ren's name as though it was a common occurrence had certainly shook him up a bit. Not that he couldn't handle his brother he just wasn't looking for the confrontation. After all, the last time they'd come together, a whole race of people had gone to war. He could only imagine what would happen here if he and Ren came together again. However, not sensing any immediate danger or his brother's scent, he returned to the demon before him, a smirk curling the corner of his lips. "And I wonder who's had this idea..." he said mildly. "The thoughts had merely been in my head, not uttered allowed although, you standing here mentioning it does bring with it a certain excitement. It has been a while since I've caused any real havoc. I don't suppose you know of anyone like you speak of who would find fun in taking a city from a vampire?" he asked her, crossing his arms over his chest as if to taunt her. "You happen to be the only other demon I've come across here in Las Vegas. I assume you know more?" It was true that Loki really hadn't cared much for his own species, not caring of bloodlines or where who was. He'd only cared about himself and keeping one step ahead of Ren. In fact, finding another demon, even a lower class demon, was his second surprise of the day, making it a record. He'd been so out of tune with his own species, he'd failed to overlook the ones under his very nose. He supposed if he did plan on taking over Vegas, he would need to learn to branch out to the local demons and find out who was who and who was looking to join him instead of ignoring them completely.

Anya hated being ignored. Well, the woman at least acknowledged her judging by her smirk. So, she was at least heard. It was enough for her simply because she didn't actually care about their conversation. So eventually she zoned out into her own little world, mainly wondering her brother had planned and whether it would work or blow up in their faces. She loved her brother and had complete faith in him. That didn't mean she thought the odds were stacked in their favor. She had no doubt he would find her. It was why she wasn't too surprised in seeing him. No, her concern was what would happen after that. As much as she wanted to believe it would be easy, she had to figure it wouldn't.

As Andrei tuned in on the conversation happening he couldn’t help but let out a snort or amusement over it, they thought they could take the city from Gina? Ha! He almost wanted to wish them luck because they would have to pry it from the woman’s cold, dead fingers and even that would end up being a nearly impossible task if Kaia and the rest of her progenies got involved. But no matter, he wasn’t worried about the hostile takeover of the city‒not now anyway but Gina would be hearing about it. Right now he was more worried about his sister and that was where his goal was today. “Give me a name already…”he muttered to himself. He knew that this rescue mission was a rather risky and not fully planned one but he needed a name so he could even begin to form one.

“If I’m the only one you’ve come across you must not be looking.” she said blatantly. If he really was telling the truth and she was the first demon he had come across then maybe she was wrong with her initial observation of him. If any demon was going to take over a city and succeed it would be him and that was why she stood here in front of him. ”I’m sure every type of being here would love to overthrow the vampires, especially with how they’re running the city.” As she spoke she couldn’t help but get the unnerving feeling that they were being watched. Of course they were standing in the middle of the walk way but this feeling felt more personal in the fact that someone was eaves dropping. ”If you and your pet would like to join me for a few drinks inside maybe we can discuss the city in greater detail. Anything you require I’m more than happy to assist.” She said with her signature smile, hoping he would accept her offer so they could get out of sight from prying eyes and ears.

He smirked. She was right, he wasn't looking. Honestly, he hadn't cared. When he'd first come to Vegas, he had meant to only hide out here for awhile but hadn't been able to turn down the dark and seedy world of the Vegas underground. Soon, he'd found himself growing roots and what better to find that the city was run by vampires and not just any vampires, but the very progeny of Kaia Rion, the vampire he'd been following over the centuries. The very reason he'd brought her lover back to life and the very reason he'd set his plan in motion, centuries in the making. The fact that demons also lived here in Vegas hadn't been something he'd cared to put on his "need-to-know" list. But, if he had the chance to gain an ally, he wasn't going to turn it down. However, if she wanted to stand in his shadow, he need to see what she was made of.
He smiled. "Drinks sound wonderful, however, I might have something else in mind." he turned his body in the direction of Andrei's hiding place. "You can come out now. It's only demeaning at this point to think you've kept yourself hidden." He grabbed Anya's wrist with a vice like grasp and pulled her back.

Anya wasn't paying attention to their conversation past that point. She was more interested to see what her brother was up to. She wasn't actively trying to pinpoint him in the crowd, but she was highly curious. As he seemed to be behaving and not attempting to do anything, the she-cat didn't want to out him. She snapped back to attention as the conversation went to the offer of drinks. She opened her mouth to respond with some sort of sarcastic remark, but Loki's next words were enough to make her hesitate. It was clear that he was addressing her brother. Before she could do anything, however, she was grabbed and pulled backwards. She let out a small gasp and tried to twist her wrist free of Loki's fingers.
“Get your greasy tentacles off me,” she hissed, having half the mind to make him bleed.
