Business was going about as well as it could right now so he was in a good mood for once. All his affairs with Kaia Rion were in order right now so he didn't have to worry about her breathing down his back for now. Not that he was paranoid really he just didn't like her when she was in a pissy mood and much valued his head and dignity remaining intact. He owed her everything really she'd been the one to sire him and grant him the means for his revenge finally. This lifestyle suited him the wealth the power the fame it was like being back home again with his family where he had everything and everyone else groveled under his feet for a share of it from him. He'd had that in Boston but without proper support from someone like Kaia Rion behind him it all fell apart as his underlings fought each other for a piece of the pie allowing competition to sweep in and take everything from him. He'd left a bloodly mess behind in his wake there before splitting and moving elsewhere eventually to Las Vegas when Kaia finally found him and summoned him to her. Thus here he was her appointed Ambassador of New York City and all the vampires within in. No one made a move no one did any business without his permission of consent doing so meant punishment by his hand directly as he sat behind his desk going over his numbers book now. The front of the club was doing alright tonight like usual and was crowded mostly with humans and a few supernatural creatures just here for some good dancing and drinks. It was in the basement club where the real fun and magic happened but only special clients got privelege there for the right price which ended up being mostly vampires or fae. "Everything seems to be in order," he said to himself now only to hear a knock at the door now. "Well come in then," Veltos commanded and then snapped the ledger shut and stuffed it into one of his drawers now as a guard walked in now. "We've got a new special and paying client sir should we let her downstairs?" the guard asked now. Veltos would look up at that pondering briefly before nodding. "Let in for now but if she doesn't pay up then kick her out on her ass after the hour is up," Veltos replied and stood now. "If you or anyone else needs me I'll be in the basement myself enjoying some drinks," he added waving the guard off now before heading out behind and slamming the door shut locked it and headed downstairs now taking a seat in the VIP booth now wavign to the bartender now and knowing what he wanted the vampire nodded and got to work on his drink now as Veltos listened to the music now he only played some of the best and most current hits in his club.

Cora had heard of a vampire nightclub in Manhattan that, for the most part, served other species as well. Always willing to try something new she decided to check the place out -and that wasn’t simply because one of her souls was also holding out in the nightclub in an attempt to hide from her radar. The succubus knew better than to overlook something as simple as a vampire bar. The place was littered with the smell of death, blood, and the faint aroma of smoke. None of which really bothered the demon but she couldn’t help but feel a wave of nostalgia hit her. Memories of her younger days flooded back to her like a wave of emotion that make alcohol seem like a pleasantry at the moment. Before seeking out her soul she decided to grab a drink at the bar, and in doing so over heard a pair debating on whether they wanted to be turned or not and referred the basement as “The Point Of No Return”.
Curious, Cora sought out the one in charge and learned she had to pay for her visit. Irritated, she agreed regardless but refused to pay upfront. She waited while the man checked in with his boss and when given the okay proceeded downstairs. Upon entering she was taken by surprise. The bright colors played well with the upbeat, modern music and even for someone as old fashioned as Cora she had to admit; she liked the décor. Despite the upbeat vibes from upstairs Cora felt exhilarated by the energy surrounding the area –from the couple making out in the corner, to the vampire feeding on the intoxicated female on a sofa. Her attention seemed to be everywhere as she took everything in while trying to pin point her target but when scanning the area she caught sight of a figure –that by his position in the room and regal demeanor- she could only assume was the owner. If she was to find her target he would be the man to help her. With a charming smile she zoned in on him, channeling her energy to nit-pick his mind and slightly adjusted her features to appeal to his senses. This time she wouldn’t make a big difference, lightening her blue eyes to a lighter shade and making overall aura more appealing. She didn’t even hesitate when she walked up to his booth with a charming smile and a twinkle in her eye. ”I heard this was the best seat in the room. I really hate to bother you but this is a matter I would like to take up with the owner. This is my first time at your lovely club but I was hoping you could help me with something?”

Before he came along every species had their own club scenes to go to. Werewolves had their place in some former warehourse turned club Vampires had their own already and so on never did they usually mingle. That was stupid though he thought you stood to gain more business when you werne't prejudice towards other species of the supernatural and of course naturally humans were allowed either to be food if they chose or turned by the supernatural beings capable of that like vampires or werewolves. Of course he had to be legit here so upstairs anyone who looked decent enough and had little money could get in no problem unless the club was full but below in the Point of No Return customers had to pay a monthly charge to get in and their was no refunds hence the name he had given the downstairs you couldn't just unbecome supernatural unless you were killed. Normally he had his pet with him but that was usually on the sunday when the club closed for his meetings with his fellow vampires. He was a little annoyed at the disturbance then again he really needed a break so it was a good distraction from crunching numbers for the umpteenth time this week. So when the guard for the basement entry was dismissed he headed on downstairs himself to enjoy a little music and some drinks. Downstairs wasn't as busy as upstairs but that was normal it still made far more money in a month then the upstairs did really so he couldn't complain much as the bartender rushed over to hand him his drink and then he was off again at Veltos's dismissal of his hand sipping at his whiskey blood mixed drink now and noticed the new woman come downstairs now probably the one he was informed of and he couldn't deny she was beautiful in all the ways a woman should be to him especially those serene blue eyes like Serena used to have before she died and they became dull and gray lifeless. She seemed to notice him now and made her way over as he sipped at his drink more now she clearly wasn't human that much he could tell her beauty was supernatural literally. "Well you wouldn't be lying mi hermoso please take a seat," Veltos replied with a soft smile in return and gestured for her to sit at his booth before setting his drink down. "Well you've come to the right person then I am Veltos Moon the boss and the one with all the connections around here. So tell me what is your problem and how can I help you miss? Veltos spoke further now and leaned back in his seat drink in hand again as sipped a little more focused on her now. Hermosa - Beautiful

With a simple nod and smile she sat down next to him in the booth but kept her distance. He was a vampire, that much she could tell. There was always a certain air they held about themselves that made Cora chuckle in amusement. The creatures of the night thought of themselves as gods when in reality they were nothing more than a science experiment. That arrogance about them however was something Cora, as a demon, could relate to, but she didn't shove it in peoples faces. Though he didn't openly admit his infinity for power and status as most vampires seem to do it was safe to assume the over the top scenery was just another way to show people his presence in the city, whatever that may be was still unknown.
Her eyes danced like a wild fire and the corners of her lips curled, her thin lips puckering into her infamous smirk. "You've got quite the lovely set up. I can assume you get a lot of patrons down here?" She asked curiously. Though the question may seem simple and unimportant Cora always had a method to her madness and preferred to gather all the facts before diving into anything too deep. "A lot of various species. I'm sure you get a lot of problems from people using your secluded club as a hideaway?"

Veltos had always lived a posh and rich lifestyle even when he was just a mere human. Owning the bank in the city they lived in gave them a lot of authority and power over the lower class people and common folk. He was always attenting fancy parties with his parents that was where he met his first love Serena after after another rich family attenting the ball. He'd never really known anything less than such until that fateful day he lost his love and met Kaia Rion. He went from having everything to nothing but the clothes on his back and he'd be damned if he went back to being a nobody again a loser. He had it all now and unlike most vampires he worked hard to get here he'd done a lot of bad things to get here and killed anyone who got in his way or tested his patience. Life was good now life was content despite the gaping hole he felt in his chest where he'd once held a deep love for another but now such a thing was just a fool's dream and would never come by him again it seemed no matter how hard he tried and he'd given up trying at this point and never got his hopes up anymore really. "Thanks and maybe not as many as upstairs but down here are the big money spenders the most important clients really. For the right price you can do anything you want down here long as you don't trash the place completely," Veltos replied sipping a little more at his drink now. Not just anyone could get down here that's what upstairs was for all the losers the nobodies down here you were important a real somebody to him. "All the time but for the right price we sell them out to those after them. I arrange meetings to have them cornered and trapped here for pick up," he replied setting down his drink now as he looked to her again now. "I assume that's why you're here to collect someone so just point them out or give me a name and you'll have them within the hour," Veltos added with a smirk on his face now he'd show her how he got things down around here and why no one crossed him if they knew what was best for them and had enemies after them.

The corner of her lips curled up into one of her infamous smirks. ”You’re a man that get’s straight to the point. I like that.” Her eyes darted over to the bar across the room and raised her hand to grab one of the bartenders’ attentions before reverting hers back to him. ”His name is Damon, and he’s been a very naughty boy.” The tone of her voice could be considered mocking yet they were sincere. Her soul had been a naughty boy, especially to make a deal with her, and not only was he trying to skimp out on their deal –one of Cora’s many pet peeves being cowardness- the sucker was making her waste precious time when she could be enjoying the pleasures of life. She would be sure to not only teach the human a lesson but to make up for valuable time lost in the process. ”Did you know that he sold his soul, not for fame, money, or influence, but for a girl. And believe it or not, she left him…for his brother. HA! Talk about bad luck, eh?” She laughed. She felt a sense of comfort around Veltos that made it easier for her to relax and chit chat while she waited for her soul to reveal his location. She could feel him in the room but with the strong scent of vampire and smoke she was left basically nose-blind. When the waitress appeared Cora greeted her with a smile and after her order was placed was left alone with Veltos once more.
"I can't help but feel sympathy for the poor sap, regardless. She must have been really worth it while he had her for him to seek me out. I'm surprised he didn't ask me to make him better in bed. That's probably why she left him." She couldn't contain a small giggle at the thought.

"Well when you run a business like mine time is money and neither I like to have wasted," Veltos simply replied smirking back at her now. Being a succubus he was sure she felt the same way time was precious to her she'd much rather have it spent enjoying it and the finer things in life and not having it wasted tracking down some scumbag trying to cop out on a deal. He could relate to her frustrations there he liked deals to go smoothly and be over with quickly and didn't like it when someone screwed up his deal and forced him to drag it out for weeks instead of days. Such fools were made and example of for the other employees of what would happen to them if they screwed up in the same way. He looked to her when she spoke of her well client he guessed she would call him and how he could have any wish he wanted and chose some girl who ironically didn't even like the poor sap enough to stay with him forever like he probably deluded himself to thinking she would. "Love can be so fickle I guess. I almost feel sorry for him after all what is love really who knows so many different versions to it nowadays," Veltos replied a little random maybe but he was just speaking his mind and the thoughts that crossed his mind on the subject really. Rhetorical maybe he didn't really expect Cora to answer on it she was a succubus after all they weren't privy to a commitment like love and being tied down to one person for too long he knew that much from the lore and myths humans came up with over the years. "Well intimacy and communication is everything in a relationship with a womn without both nothing will ever last long." Veltos replied he knew that much from his own experience and his own real issue had been losing intimacy or well he guessed he just got bored of most women he dated when they didn't have enough in common. "Well he does seem to be having a good time despite his break-up this Damon," he said as he spotted him already in a corner sleazing it up with some vampire hookers looking a little drunk naturally a she extended his hand to show him to her now. The fool if he failed to satisfy them they'd rip him apart after sucking him dry if not for Cora being here so he'd be thrown out of one frying pan and into a much hotter one he was sure the demoness would be anything but pleasant with him later on. He almost was tempted to ask if he could see her work in action or well punishment he guessed for one who went against a deal with her like this Damon had.
