History
Valerio and Giuliana were magi from two very prominent and influential families in Verona, Italy during the Renaissance era. A year after they married, Serena was born. Cristoforo came just few years later and was followed by Vittoria and just two years later came Otto and Isabetta. That same day was Giuliana's last, leaving Valerio to raise his children alone. He turned to his sister and her husband for aid and support. Olympia and Alessio welcomed them with open arms and helped without question or complaint. The girls immediately to their aunt, but while Cristoforo and Otto started off liking Alessio, Otto and his uncle quickly began to clash when Alessio began to notice Otto was different from his other siblings.
As Isabetta began getting control of her powers, Otto did not. In fact he had no visible powers to begin with. While he could do the basics just as easy as his twin, he showed nothing spectacular or individualistic. He was simply basic. Alessio looked down on him for that as he saw the boy as flawed and less of a man, a failure to the prominent magi circle and way of living. Soon enough, even his father and aunt began to agree. Otto was slacking. He never worked for it. He was lazy. Cristoforo was the brilliant son and Isabetta the spoiled baby girl. Otto was always the disapointment.
One day, he had enough. He packed up and left the house, planning to simply leave. While Cris was the favorite son, he did care about his brother. He caught him sneaking out and attempted to stop him. Outside, they struggled and faught. In the heat of the moment, Otto felt something strange. It was like an electrical current and before he knew it, Cris went flying. He watched in horror as his brother landed and rolled down into the steep hill down and hit his head on a large rock at the bottom. Not knowing what else to do, Otto ran to his father but instead of telling him the truth, he lied, telling Valerio that Cris had caught him running away and stopped him, convincing him to stay. He agreed and Cris, overjoyed, rushed back toward the house only to trip and roll down the hill.
While Valerio and Olympia took pity on him and let up on their hardness, Alessio somehow knew the truth and eventually confronted Otto. By then, however, Otto had figured out what he did and how he did it. Secretly he started to practice, draining a little bit of his family's powers here and there and using them on his own time. When Alessio called him out, Otto used his uncle's own power against him. He killed his uncle and then left his aunt's home.
Eventually, he found himself in a small town in Spain and met a woman by the name of Eva de Acosta. It didn't take long for her to tell him she was a vampire. They fell in love and she turned him. It was at her request that he return to his family to explain the truth of himself and possibly make amends. He did just that for her and her alone. His aunt went mad and tried to kill him but Eva got them both out of there. About a century later, Serena found them and told Otto of their father's death and that she wanted him to come to the funeral. He did only to find out it was a trap set up by his aunt. Valerio had killed himself years earlier. The trap cost Eva her life and Otto his sanity. He stole his aunt's powers and killed her and Serena with them. He drained Vittoria and learned for the first time what magi blood did to a vampire.
After that he set up an establishment to bottle and sell magi blood for profit and payback under his late wife's surname. Now, he keeps his grudge and promise alive: all magi will pay for the loss of his love.

[attr="class","appcontent2"]NEGATIVE
Amoral - He has a very screwy sense of morals and usually does whatever he wants without caring about anyone else.
Deceptive - He's like an old statue painted to look gold: very charming with pretty eyes, but while he's smiling at you, he's likely plotting your distruction the genuinely caring about you.
Domineering - He's the boss and there is no room for questioning or failing in his eyes. If you work for him, it's his way and you best do it right and succeed or else.
Egocentric - Otto has a very high opinion of himself and the image he portrays to the world.
Frightening - Piss him off or test his patience and you will never make that mistake again.
Greedy - Money is one of his motivations sure but it's not his only one. Greed comes in many forms and he wants it all: money, power, and fear.
Impulsive - Otto is most likely to do what he wants whenever it suits him and he doesn't give a rat's rear who it effects.
Unreasonable - There is really no reasoning with him. Once his mind is made up, he is unmoving in whatever decision he has made.
Sadistic - Piss him off and he will make certain you regret it until you beg for death. If you're a magi, torture is just a happy passtime.
POSITIVE
Anticipative - He is highly strategic and almost always several steps ahead. He has back up plans for his back up plans and they keep going.
Charismatic - The charm oozes off of hm. When he wants to be, he can be the friendliest face in the room even as he plots your demise as he smiles.
Daring - He answers any and all challenges and threats in kind and usually does it without blinking or breaking a sweat.
Imaginative - He is extremely creative in all that he does, constantly thinking outside the box.
Observant - He sees all knows all. In a sense, but in reality, he pays attention to everything around him: people, places, things.
Patient - When he really wants something, he can wait virtually forever to get it. (not that he ever has to wait to long)
Resourceful - Whether it is meeting someone for the first time, a new meeting place for his cartel, his job in general, you can bet he has done his research and then some.
Serious - He has no sense of humor, but this is only the trait of hardworking businessman.
