David Xanatos

[attr="class","appcontent2"] David is a very proud man he sees himself as a leader and a leader must always look and be in control even if he isn't. He is the kind of man that doesn't believe in fate or destiny if something displeases him he puts all his power forth to change it. He hates taking the easy route and prefers to go the long way experiencing all the ups and down of the road as he goes. David is very loyal to the scarlet council and believes that the only way to avoid conflict between the humans and the supernatural and humans is for the Magi to step in and be the go between for the races. Even with all his money and power David does sometime enjoy the simple things in life spending time with his wife and daughter is one of his favorite past times. He can be very impatient at times which is one of the reasons he hated working on his father's farm. Why wait for something to grow when you could build something in half the time, this has only seemed to worsen now that he's become wealthy he hates to be kept waiting and has broken many an engagement because his business partners were late. He believes wholeheartedly in the phrase if you're on time you're late and if you're early you are on time. David has a soft spot for his daughter and due to this has spoiled her more than he should have, but loves her all the same, he's done the same with his wife treating her to the best his money could offer.

[attr="class","appcontent2"]David Xanatos was born in the town of Sydney Australia in 1864 to Derek and Miriam Xanatos formerly of England. Both his parents were Magi who came to the continent to live a simpler life as a farmer and wife. David was the first and last child born to his parents. Even from a young age David loved to make and build things, though his father wished he would step back from his inventions to help in the farm life, but his son despised the back breaking labor all for what a few stupid seeds!? On his twelfth birthday David's magic came to bear making his mother so proud, but it worried his father some, with just cause. David used his magic as a shortcut in life on the farm, which lead to an argument between the two causing David to leave for the town of Broken hill where silver had been discovered.


It was at this time David began to nurture his knack for technology helping repair the miner's helmet lights and other such things around the camp. After four years in the camp David wanted more to help with bigger projects so he used his money to go to Melbourne helping with the inter-colonial passenger train between Adelaide and Melbourne. It was during this time that he was being noticed for his skills in technology and put in charge of designing the rest of the railways between Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. Kuroko loved it the money and the fact that he didn't have to lift a finger in the construction. He had proven his father wrong technology didn't make shortcuts it made progress smoother! He enjoyed this life for two years before a depression hit Australia. Times were hard in his home, so David did what any sensible man would do. He picked up and left.


He decided to head to America he'd heard many things about the technology there and wanted to work his magic on it. he eventually found work in the General electric company helping with it's technological infrastructure, but mostly he just wanted to learn the ins and outs of big business and found it quite appealing. It was during this time that David realized he was kind of neglecting his magic sure he could repair anything with a current in it, but he wanted to know how strong he could be. He debated going home to speak with his folks, but he soon received a scry from his father telling him his mother had died. This infuriated David as he left General Electric and head for the far off Japan hearing they had much to do in magic and technology. David spent time there learning Sage arts, but also putting his money to good use buying stocks and amassing a fortune needless to say David was never able to master the Sage arts because of his inability to renounce the world. it was during this time that David met his soon to be wife Reshira who at the time was a singer. he was enchanted by her voice and offered to take her back to the states with her promising her a life of rapture.


Once returning David invested his money in a technology business creating and inventing new things or simply repurposing old ones. The company grew and grew and by the time his daughter was born David was in the big leagues a major contender in the technology business. David soon turned his eye to the supernatural world wanting not only clout in the human view but among his fellow Magi as well. He appealed to the scarlet council wanting to become The archmagi of New York wanting to prove himself worthy by taming this city snuffing out the flames of hatred and fear between the humans and Supernatural by revealing himself as a Magi hoping to quell the fear with open honesty and trust. This has been his endeavor and he will not stop until it bears fruit.
