Delvin Winchester

[attr="class","appcontent2"]Delvin is a hardass and hardly an optimist or pessimist but a realist sealing the glass half drank instead of half full or half empty. Happiness seems but a far off and impossible dream to him something that can't ever be achieved no matter how hard one tries to seize it. He lacks a sense of humor and is always serious twenty-four seven. Having fought demons for so long and the supernatural he has no qualms about killing them in order to protect humanity from ones that would wish them harm and to kill them. He cares little for his own kind and has no issues with killing them either if they come after him or try to hurt innocent humans. He wants more than anything to be left alone and live a normal life away from the supernatural and his own kind but despite his best efforts or intentions always finds himself and dragged back into the fight against demons and his own kind to protect humanity. Nothing is more important to him than his brother aside from maybe his muscle car and a good time with the ladies finding himself quite the casa nova there. He constantly butts heads with his brother over their differences since his brother is rather the optimist and believes in giving everyonce a second chance unlike himself once you've wronged Delvin your his enemy for life or trash to him hardly worth his time. He always blames himself for his parent's death and abandoning them in their time of need and so refuses to let himself ever die and punishes himself by living on forever so he is denied the right to see them again and will go to any lengths to do so or keep his brother alive fearing being alone without him by his side.

[attr="class","appcontent2"]Delvin was born in Rome, Italy during the year 115 during the time the Roman Empire invaded southern Mesopotamia. He was born to James, his father, and Lillian Lion, his mother, an angel couple who left Limbo while carrying Delvin in his mother's womb to live a normal and peaceful life among humans. Delvin had a relatively normal childhood he learned to walk about the average age any baby did and was a rather bubbly child rarely crying or getting upset. It was around his fifth birthday that his younger brother Ashton was welcomed into the world and he took well to have a sibling finding it his duty to protect and look out for his baby brother. Such protection soon led him into trouble often picking fights against would be bullies of his brother and didn't tolerate when anyone spoke ill of his baby brother or their parents. This carried on well into his teen years and when enough was enough his father sent him off to the roman army academy to teach him discipline and manners towards his Elders and parents. It was during this time that he came into his nature as angel and received his father's divine weapon called the demon slayer a silver knife with gold runs along the blade that had been used to kill countless demons during the war after the Goddess cast out her angels that had become corrupted by magik. Becoming a Roman soldier Delvin abandoned his family for service to his country and when needed by his father to help his ailing mother he refused finding his own life more important. He would soon regret this and for the rest of his immortal life punish himself when he found out his mother had been murdered and his father missing as well as his brother Ashton.

Delvin then abandoned his post and duties to the roman army to return home and investigate what happened. He soon discovered that a demon had murdered his mother before being chased out by his father. Before he could pick up their trail and pursue them he was discovered and arrested by Roman Soldiers for abandoning his post. It was then he was forced to become a gladiator and fight in the arena for the roman emporer's amusement. Afraid to expose himself as a supernatural being he played along and pretended to be human until one day he was forced to fight his own father. It was then he learned that one of senators was a demon and was responsible for his mother's death. Forced to kill his father he then summoned his angel wings and taking flight struck and killed the demon before escaping. Fearing his brother was dead he left Italy and went to Translyvania, Romania a supernatural hotspot for vampires and werewolves alike.It was there he decided to become a hunter and travelled around killing vampires and werewolves mostly that attacked the humans living there and forced the innocent supernatural beings into hiding to avoid his wrath. After a decade or two he then came across a demon the brother of the senator he killed and discovered his brother was alive and well hunting the supernatural evils elsewhere in Western Europe. Afraid to face his brother after letting their parents died he decided to avoid his brother and headed east to Russia to help out with a werewolf problem there.

When the colonies were established by England on the east coast of the continent now called North America Delvin decided to jump ship and find a fresh start there free of his past and supernatural heritage and family. This sense of normalcy didn't last long sadly though as he discovered even here the supernatural existed with corrupt figures like the vampires and werewolves trying to gain control and rule over the colonies. Wanting nothing to do with the supernatural fight and wanting to live a normal and peaceful life Delvin changed his last name to Winchester and moved out into the plains later called the great plains to live amongst the native americans in peace and came to be revered as a god for being an angel and child of the Goddess which they worshipped. Delvin lived there in peace and actual happiness for awhile until the revoltionary war ended and soon enough the United States formed began expanding vastly west and taking all the land forced the native americans from their homeland. It was then Delvin came to understand how much the supernatural world was expanding here in this new world and growing out of control and when the tribe he lived with was attacked and slaughtered by demons to get to him he decided enough was enough and began tracking and hunting down demons wherever he could and when he found some working along with rogue angels he soon found himself killing his own kind in order to protect humanity from them. This became his mission to purge out any supernatural that threatened the innocent no matter what the species and when the Resistance came to be in Las Vegas finally Delvin headed there and joined their ranks to offer his help and aid to their cause. It was also here that he finally ran into his brother also a member of the Resistance and tried to make amends with him at last going to any length in order to protect him at any cost.
