Reshira never been happier than she was when her baby finally came home a few days ago and with Dash in tow not looking a day over twenty-five a Djinn apparently and her father wasn't thrilled about that. She rarely ever go to see her little princess after David sent her abroad to school to get away from Dash her boyfriend at the time. They were so in love it was cute really and she supported it but her husband didn't feel the same. He hardly hated the boy he was just human and he didn't want her to face the painful loss of losing one she loved even if it was because of natural causes simply put she was immortal and he wasn't. She tried to make him understand Aurora had to make her own mistakes in life to find happiness and a love worth holding onto but he wouldn't have it and had her shipped off for school out of the country. She did her best to mend things between her husband and daughter but the latter refused to forgive her father and refused to speak to him or write him like she would with her. David was always busy so she would go visit Aurora when able to herself when she wasn't working on her fashion designing or music career. Now that Aurora was back home she couldn't be happier and was more so when she told her while they were alone that she planned to wed Dash and asked her to help her plan out the grand day for the two and so she'd been busy in her studio drawing up wedding dress designs that Aurora might like and once she approved of one she'd have the design shipped out to a wedding dress maker and fellow siren to make it for her daughter her own kind really was the best fashion designers out there they knew what fit women's body the best but human females would always be rather picky still something universal even with supernatural females. Having finished two good designs now and stuffing them into her file folder she grabbed her purse and headed out now stopping at her husband's study room doorway. "Hey honey I'm going out to meet with Aurora so I'll be gone for a few hours but when I get back I will make your favorite for dinner and we can enjoy some fine wine too. I've already made your lunch for you so it's in the fridge," Reshira replied now and blowing him a kiss she headed out again. She'd told Aurora she would meet her at her favorite tea shop and from there they could go and visit places she might like for decorations and things like her wedding cake for her big day with Dash. It was quite the surprise to find out he was a dark djinn now apparently cursed for freeing another Djinn but he seemed rather mellow and nice for one but that didn't mean her husband wouldn't keep his eye on him still for their daughter's safety. "I'll have the usual thanks," Reshira spoke looking up at the waitress now as she ordered her favorite herbal green tea and some strawberry scones and pulled out her cellphone to check for a text from Aurora to see when she might arrive soon.

Aurora was so happy that things were well good with her father and her soon to be husband. She wished her father could be more receptive to Dash, but her father was stubborn and well he only wanted the best for which in his opinion was a fellow elite like herself, or a young entrepreneur like he had once been. She looked at her clock and sat up a little. "Time to go meet with your future mother in law honey." She said kissing Dash on his cheek as she left. She looked at her new nail job and smiled. "Mother is going to love these I know she is." She said as she got in her car sending a text to her mother telling her she was on her way. Aurora rarely drove herself anywhere considering Dash could teleport, but sometimes even she like to do a bit of driving though her father told her she was terrible at it. She shrugged. "it was only a couple mail boxes and that last one could hardly be called more than a fender bender. That bitch just pretended she was in pain because she knew I was loaded that's all!" She growled as she saw the tea shop swerving over two lanes of traffic to several angry honks as she got a parking spot. She walked in smiling. Her and her mother looked like twins every so often people would think them sisters and sometimes they even went along with it. "Hello mother sorry I was late." She said kissing her mother on both cheeks as she sat down. "I'll have a Caramel Cappuccino please." She said looking at her mother. "So how's my robot of a father doing?" She said sighing. "Dad's always working."

Reshira tried to make husband more receptive to Dash but the man much like herself was stuck in certain ways and wanted what he wanted for his daughter. It was hard for him to accept that their daughter loved a young man who was nothing like he was and at his own pace would come to accept Dash as he was once he saw how happy he truly made their daughter on their wedding day and down the road when Aurora eventually got into her own motherly phase and wanted little sirens of her own to love and cherish as she did her right. Of course she had taken her usual nap like she always did but for once she cut it short and got up early to prepare for her meeting with her daughter after quickly finished up a few wedding dress sketches for her and then with a goodbye to her husband she was out the door dressed in her casual city clothes for once with her sketchbook in tow as she headed over in a taxi to her favorite tea shop. She wasn't a very good driver either a horse she could ride she'd grown up riding those but cars were just unnatural to her and made her a bit anxious about driving one herself really so she stuck to taxis unless she was going out with David somewhere or had to get to one of her more important functions. She'd been so fearful for Aurora's life when she had to learn how to drive when her father insisted on it but she took better to it much more than she ever could right now. She didn't have to wait long hearing those tires screech and looked up to see Aurora enter now they really would be twins if not for her having long and curly hair right now whereas Aurora kept hers nice and short. "It's quite alright baby I haven't been waiting too long really," Reshira replied waving her daughter off now as she apologized and then giggled a little bit. "A new project I'm afraid but he has agreed to a day out with Dash later this week," she replied clapping her hands together a little now smiling wide now. "But we'll discuss him more later I drew these for you myself," Reshira spoke again and opening her sketckbook slide her daughter the two dress designs now. "They're not done yet but if you like one we can work out a few extra details to make the wedding dress perfect for you. Then I'll have it sent out and made as soon and quuckly as possible," she added looking to Aurora with a hopeful look and smile on her face now hoping she really did like one of her dress designs for her wedding now.

"Oh that's good Dad hates to be kept waiting so I wasn't sure if it had already rubbed off on you or not." She said as she sat across from her mother and looked away. "Tell me you have a car mother or that you had dad drop you off or something." She said. She couldn't believe her mother would rather take a taxi then drive herself sure she was a horrible driving and well Aurora wasn't the best at driving either. "The least you could do is take one of Dad's limos." She said as he cappuccino arrived with a hefty dollop of whipped cream on top. "Mmmm." She said stirring the liquid slowly. "Me and dad never see eye to eye on much but we both agree you shouldn't be taking Taxis it's dangerous." She said sipping some of her cappuccino before her mother brought up her wedding and she couldn't help, but giggle uncontrollably. "Oh you should have seen Dash's face when I told him about a wedding you would swear he had just swallowed a worm or something." She said giggling a little before her mother placed her sketch book in front of her seeing the old thing nearly brought tears to her eyes. "Remember when I was younger and I said I wanted to be a designer just like you?" She asked sniffing a little. "you bought me a sketchbook with my name on it and all kinds of color pencils, but sadly I sucked at drawing." She said with a sigh as she pulled the book towards her. "Oh this one I want something long, but not to the point it drags the ground. I want to be able to show off my shoes." She said with a grin. "Oh and well you know it can't be white considered I lost my you know what abroad. Damn that French pastry chef." She said licking her lips. "His éclair was to die for you know." She said laughing hard.

"Hardly and yeah I know how he can be better than anyone he has little patience for people who break the terms of an agreement with him," Reshira replied with a sheepish smile on her face as she waved off the comment with a hand now. The only exception he really made was for her his wife not even Aurora was completely spared from his planned time schedules for events or agreements with his tough love was good for her or so he told her. Still he did deeply love their daughter the way he spoiled Aurora almost as much as he did her on special occassions. Then she sighed and pouted a little as Aurora turned into her father suddenly and began grilling her about using taxis as often as she did when she had a lovely chaffeur and car she could use provided for her personally by her husband. Sometimes she just got so excited and carried away she would forget that and today was one of those days getting to spend time with her daughter again after so long. "Yeah I know and he's going to punish me later give me quite the lecture I'm sure," Reshira replied as she removed her hat now and shook her hair a little before placing her hat down on the table out of the way now. "Well I'm sure you quite surprised him for sure but I knew he'd say yes to you he'd a good boy for you baby," she replied smiling back at her sheepishly some more now. Of course her father trusted her more with Dash really than he would anyone else she'd have the absolute protection of a dark djinn at her side but no doubt he'd have plans made to protect her from Dash as well of he lost control or went mad with power. Handing her sketckbook to her daughter for viewing now only seemed to make her seem sad and yet happy at the same time as she spoke of her fond memories of when she gave Aurora her own sketchbook. "You used to watch me draw my clothing designs all the time and begged me for one of your own. I got you one and you used to be so happy when you showed me what you drew for me. I kept every single one too," Reshira replied with a smile as she rubbed Aurora's left shoulder a little affectionately now. She'd nod as she went on about her dress now and the changes she wanted and smiled sheepishly at that last comment. "Your father wanted to kill that man he did but he settled for ruining his career instead. I think Dash would probably be a little relieved your not a virgin so your honeymoon will be all the more explosive for you then," Reshira replied not being very subtle about what she meant then again she was never good at being subtle about anything it just wasn't in her nature really.

Her mother was spared her father's constant time tables this needed to be done at this time and this should have been done hours ago. As a kid she hated it. Her father always wanted her to be doing something it was only through the saving grace of her mother that she was allowed any time to herself something she was eternally grateful for. "Oh I know." Aurora was just worried she wanted her mother to be safe and riding in a taxi was about as unsafe as you could get for a regular person, but her mother was the wife of a CEO that made anything she did three times as dangerous. "Oh mom I'm sure it won't be so bad, but yeah he is going to be mad at you for sure." She said with a shrug. It was something they'd both grown accustomed to over the years her father was a control freak of the highest degree. Everything had to be just so. Aurora scoffed. "I knew he would too Dash may have many short comings, but he's loyalty was never a question." She said sipping her cappuccino some more. "Mom please tell me you didn't those drawings were just terrible there was a reason I stopped drawing in them even at the age of 10 I could tell my drawings were crap." She said shaking her head. Aurora sighed. "It wasn't just his fault granted he was the hired help, but come on mom look at me there's not a man alive who wouldn't risk everything to get with this." She said gesturing to her entire form. "Come on mom let's get out of here we can go do something watch a movie go to a play, have a spa day anything."

Reshira had no doubt in how much her husband truly loved her he could never stay too mad at her forever and he hardly got jealous often and worried so much about her safety when she was away from him he always made sure she had someone looking out for her to protect and keep her safe for him. Most women would find it annoying and suffocating but she knew his heart was in the right place and as a Magi had many good reasons to fear losing her and the madness it would bring upon him or the loss in power he would feel losing her. Still she tried to help lighten things up when her husband got a little too strict with their daughter as he did time from time and spoiled her a lot to cheer her up when she got upset or angry with her father and it usually helped most of the time until he decided to send their daughter abroad. She'd simply smile and nodded to Aurora knowing she was just looking out for her now as her father always did it was the biggest thing they had in common worrying their little heads over her and her safety getting from one place to another in this city. Sure she'd handled that burglar just fine leaving him deaf and bleeding from the ears and eyes by the time she was done screeching but that didn't mean her husband would release his protective grip over her even a little bit. "I'll make it up to him like I always do so he wont stay mad for long I assure you," Reshira replied with a knowingly grin now. She looked to Aurora as she spoke Dash just loving her so deeply he'd do anything for her even marry her if she asked him to. "Your world is going to change so much no more sleeping alone you'll wonder how you ever did without him holding you close as you cuddle together. The only greater feeling than spending so much time with your mate will be having and raising your children together." Reshira exclaimed with glee as she placed her hands over her heart now. She'd been so happy getting pregnant with Aurora and then welcoming her into the world finally. Her baby had grown up so fast it seemed like just yesterday she was only five screaming her head off for some sweets. "To be honest it's probably my fault when I mentioned how cute he was your father stormed off and so went the man like the dodo," Reshira repleid giggling a bit now and then smiled wide now. "I love a spa day baby and afterwards maybe a movie I've really been wanting to see the last Hobbit movie that Legolas is a real hunk!" she added clapping her hanhs together a little before collecting her sketchbook and purse now standing now. "Well come on the get the lead out of your panties out hot bodies wont pamper themselves y'know." Reshira said and marched out the front door heading for her daughter's car now.

Aurora grimaced. "Eww mom don't talk about you and dad it's so gross. You're gonna make me gag!" She said sticking a finger down her throat. She shuddered at the thought before shaking her head free of the horrifying images. Aurora leaned forward as she listened to her mother speak of sleeping in the bed with someone you love she imagined it before jerking back at the mention of children. "Woah mom pump the brakes will ya." She said clearing her throat. "Children are not something I'm looking forward to alright I mean I know you want to be a grandma and all that, but uhhh I don't think I'll be shooting anything out of my baby cannon for at least a couple more centuries." She said shaking her head. "Kids, are gross they pick their nose eat their boogers, and not only that, but they seem to excrete some kind of mystery liquid that's always stick. you don't know what is but nine times out ten their hands are sticky!" She said shuddering as she looked at her mom. "Besides I have enough trouble with Pierre that damn Parrot. I don't know why you and dad let me get that thing." She said a little before smiling, "But he does have his moments." Aurora smiled at the mention of a spa day. "Great sounds like fun I could use a good massage you know." then the other shoe dropped. "Mom you never told me you were such a dork lord of the rings really?" She said shaking her head as she paid the tab and headed to her car. "What would dad say if he heard you swooning over an elf?" She said with a chuckle as she got in.

Reshira would sheepishly at that waved her off children were funny like that. She didn't like to hear about her own father and mother having sex but she had no problem about sharing her own sexual escapades with her not that she minded it was entertaining really. She'd smile sheepishly as Aurora seemed to space out now probably about her and Dash but soon as she was gone she was back again freaking out at the mention of children now. "What?" she asked and giggled a bit now before smiling and nodded as her daughter went on about not having children anytime soon and nodded at that. "Well I didn't mean exactly right now silly. I didn't have you until I was in my hundreds at your age children was the farthest thing from my mind really but yes I do want to be a grandmother someday," she replied. At her age she was running in the woods barely wearing anything most of the time aside from clothes made from flowers and such. Those were the days she thought but she'd been forced out of the nest and forced to grow up and mature more to seek out her own husband to spend her time and days with. "But it's worth it having a little one who looks up to you for guidance and everything a child gives you all the attention you could seek and no moment is more precious and tearjerking than when your daughter's voice comes in finally filling you with a sense of amazement and accomplishment," Reshira replied smiling sadly as she reflected on that day when Aurora's vocie finally came in. The school wasn't too happy about the damages but nothing David couldn't fix with a little cash really. It was such a big day for Aurora she took her out and spoiled her like it was her birthday all over again. "It was your father's idea I don't really like birds all that much," she replied with a shrug of her shoulders now. Then she giggled a bit as Aurora called her dork for wanting to see those movies and then brought up her father and his opinions on her elven crush. "It's my little secret you tell him about my Legolas shrine and I will never spoil you ever again so shush," she replied and wagged a threatening finger at her now. "So to the spa young lady I could use a full spa workover mani pedi the whole works!"

Children scared her more than anything they were so fragile one bump on the head and they were handicap for life. they needed so much care and attention it was more than Aurora thought she could handle. she barely had enough attention for herself, so was she supposed to look her best when she had to make sure her child looked the best too. "I don't see how you did it mom and by yourself mostly." She said several memories flashing through her head. Her father wishing her a happy birthday over a Vid screen, or getting a busload of presents with a Christmas card attached. "Well I know Dash will be a better dad." She said to herself. Dash loved kids she could just look at him and tell any person who becomes a magician must love kids. She watched her mother's eyes glow as she spoke of a child and she knew that she was thinking about her way back when. "you make it sound so enchanting mother." Aurora said as they got in the car and she sped out of the parking lot to several angry horn blares. She didn't even bother taking notice of them. She looked at her mother and shrugged. "Figures couldn't get me a dog?" She asked rhetorically. "Whatever you say mom I mean don't get me wrong I have caught myself watching some rather out there movies just because there's a hunk in there like Hancock that Will Smith is something else I tell you." She said licking her lips. "Sounds good to me mom we'll get the full treatment."

Reshira could see her daughter had her fears and anxiety about having children right now. Babies were so fragile and weak really they needed constant care and attention more than anything else. She'd had a few near scares herself with Aurora but in the end she managed alright and Aurora turned out just fine really. Still the first baby was always the scariest one for a new mother she wasn't sure she would've been able to handle it herself without David's support there as well. She didn't really expect Aurora to have a baby right now with Dash when they had a wedding to worry about and getting their own place together for starters so they had little time to add in worrying about a newborn baby to deal with until they had settled those issues first and had a good life together cemented before they would decide to expand on that with little ones running around. "I had my fears and scares I assure you baby but without your father's support at all I don't know if I could've done it alone but regardless I would've never ever given you up your my baby my responsibility," she replied rubbing Aurora's shoulder a little now. She'd simply smile as Aurora mentioned Dash being a good father she could only hope her love for him was enough to push her past her fears to have children with him Dash was a good man she could see that much he would always be there for Aurora and their future children they had eventually. "It really is and someday I hope you can see it for yourself how magical it is knowing you created some with your husband somethign unique and precious to you both," she replied looking to Aurora again now and then giggled a little as she looked away again shaking her head a little now. "I seem to remember you hated Joker a lot as a child. Such a hyper little jack russell he is," she replied smiling softly now and looked back as Aurora spoke of her own movie crush now. "Oh my gosh isn't he really? I think your father is a big fan of his too but he wont admit it," she replied giggling a bit and then smiled wide clapping her hands together now. "Nothing like a mother daughter spa day to really bond together," Reshira replied she could hardly wait now. There was nothing more she loved than a spa day with one of the girls especially when it was her own daughter with her now.

The way her mother spoke of child rearing it sounded so fantastic a wonderful experience that every woman should experience and she knew that for better or worse that Dash would be there for her. She sighed a little she didn't want to think about this anymore today she just wanted to spend some time with her mother. "yeah maybe mom, but can we shelve this for a while I don't want to think about children all I want is a relaxing sauna and a massage." She said as she began driving. She had vague memories of the dog in question and shuddered. "That dog was evil he hated me always barking at me whenever I did something wrong it was like having dad around 24/7. that dog was a major suck up." She said as she swerved around a corner barely catching the light. Aurora laughed at that. "Well you know how dad is he got really depressed when Bernie Mac died too he binge watched the Bernie the mac show for a whole week not to mention all his movies Ocean's 11, Soul Men and several others." She said catching a parking space and stepping out in front of the spa. "Come on Mother we have a whole day of pampering that awaits!" She said rushing in.

It was obvious how much Reshira loved children and was passionate about having them and raising her own. She didn't pretend it was all rainbows and sunshine though it was hardly that. All the mood swings and weird cravings for things she normally hated really got to her sometimes and David too. Then there was the actual birthing of the baby that hurt so much like trying to push something the size of a watermelon out the size of a grapefuit. Still she bounced back pretty quickly and was back to her usual perky self again despite the constant need to have a baby attached to her breasts to breastfeed it'd been such a nightmare when Aurora started teething. "Sorry baby I guess I get a little carried away sometimes. I've been thinking again about asking your father to have a new baby with me though," Reshira replied looking out the window now. Last time didn't go so well but she wanted to believe it'd been long enough that now maybe he was ready for another one. She'd worry about that later though for now she wanted to focus on Aurora and their time to bond together more now. "Joker used to be so sweet and loveable to you but I go away for one tour and that man corrupted him," Reshira replied sighing a little Joker acted like he was more her husband's dog now than hers though they had their sweet bonding time when David was away on business trips. "I'd never really seen your father cry or get so down like that before poor thing," she replied and she'd spent the whole week by his side with him and his little marathon until he finally cheered up and was his usual self again. "No need to tell me twice honey right behind you," Reshira exclaimed with glee linking arms with Aurora headed inside now. "Oh hell Mrs Xanatos nice to see you again and you must be Aurora her daughter will it be the usual then," the lady behind the desk asked now. "Indeed this is my baby girl Aurora aren't we just like twins? Anyways we'll have the full treatment today," Reshira replied now and smiled as she hugged Aurora close now before leading her back to the changing room where they could store their clothes and stuff now.

Aurora sighed at what her mother was planning. "Again mother you know what he said last time and for one I think it's for the best that you don't have another kid. you got me more kids mean more additions to the will." She said straight forward. She wasn't saying this merely out of greed, but it was true her father's will only included her and her mother another child meant another addition which meant more many and more legal problems. "it's not practical back in your day siblings would kill each other over their father's shoes, who's to say my little sister won't be try and kill me or to take my stake of the company?" She said crossing her arms. "Wouldn't be the first thing he corrupted." she said as she drove through the winding city streets. "it's the state of humans mother immortality doesn't suit them they wouldn't know what to do with all that time." Humans already shortened their lives with smoking, drinking and war if they became immortal the planet wouldn't last another century. Aurora walked in with her mother smiling at the place as the woman spoke to her mother. "I'm no baby." She said before her mother asked for a comparison. "fishing for compliments already mother we just walked in the door." She said teasing her mother. Of course they looked alike, even though her mother was ancient and she was no spring chicken in human terms anyway. She followed her mother into the changing room slipping into the clothes the spa offered.

Reshira would frown a little at that and pouted as Aurora seemed to think she didn't need another child saying she had her already. Then there was the matter of her husbands will and how more children meant dividing it up more and shook her head at all of that. "It's been awhile since then and your fully grown now able to care and fend for yourself now," Reshira before ruffling Aurora's hair now. She'd always be her first born and baby girl but it was time to push her out of the nest and doing so she felt the yearn for motherhood again and a new baby to care for and cherish as she once had when Aurora was a wee babe like that. "I love you Aurora you know that but it's time for me to let you go and live your own life with Dash now. You'll still be my daughter and first born my most precious but I want another baby. I know you and your father worry about the financial issues like the will but everything your father owns has already been promised to you if you want and if not then it shall become mine regardless it legacy will be run the way he started it another baby wont change that," Reshira replied stroking Aurora's cheek a little affectionately now. She could have her serious moments when she wanted to but they usually didn't last long and simply nodded at what Aurora said. The concept seemed an obsession to most humans wanting to look and feel young forever but not being immortal born nearly destroyed their minds once they actually had it and twisted them into something unrecognisable most of the time. Her serious moment soon faded as they retreated into the spa at last. "You love the attention and having your beauty compared to mine," Reshira replied before sticking her tongue out at her now. Then they both came out wearing bathrobes hers pink with gree floral patterns on it and a towel wrapped around her head as she headed for the massage table first now and once there a rather macho man appeared ready to work out those stiff muscles and aches out of her back now.
