Wedding Plans [Aurora Xanatos]

Reshira did recognize Aurora as young and mature woman now but she was still a baby compared to most Sirens to it was only natural she resisted or protested such things like having children. She'd been the same way at that age but having a mate you loved or thought you did had a way of changing one's mindsets about certain things and she learned that the hard way. "You'll understand someday when your a mother yourself. It changes you makes your heart bigger and more full of love. I'm proud of how you turned out I couldn't be happier but mt nest feels empty I miss having a little baby to care for a Siren is the happiest when she has a little one to care for," Reshira replied she wasn't sure how else to make her daughter understand that. Someday she would find out herself when she was ready for that step with Dash then she'd discover a love that was so precious as the one she had for Dash nothing was more amazing than a life created from within herself. She looked to Aurora as she then asked about her past flings now and how many children she had giggling a little at the number for her age given. "I am three hundred and fifty this year and sure I had a few flings before your father. Every Siren goes through a false love phase dating so many men to try and find that special one," she replied as she looked away now. "I never told your father or you and lied about you being my firstborn okay. I was young and stupid and careless when I had Sheba. My mother took her from me before kicking me out of the nest for my actions. If she's still alive she'd be about my age now I was yours when I had her," Reshira replied and often she thought about her but she'd been raised by her mother and probably told that she was her real mother so she wouldn't even know her now probably. She'd made peace with that when having Aurora with David. She then sighed as she looked back to Aurora and hugged her close now. "Well like the myths say Sirens orignated mainly from Greece. I was born and raised there until about your age like I said when I was kicked out of the nest," Reshira started as she laid facedown for her massage now face showing threw the bottom of the headrest now before going on again. She would explain how she got knocked up and had Sheba before she was expelled from her mother's next baby stolen. How she then travelled to many places in other countries performing and singing as she did so to make a little money as she made her way to Japan eventually and fianlly how she met her father there a yougn Magi in training and came back with him to the United States where they soon got married and conceived Aurora where she then got into her music career and fashion designing. "Your father wishes so much to tell you of his own life and family all you need do is sit him down and ask he'll gladly share his part of your heritage from him with you," Reshira replied and once she had enough joined Aurora for a mud facial in the Jacuzzi now. She was comforted by the fact a lot of Sirens worked here as well and weren't the only type of Fae here.

Reshira would simply look to Aurora and nodded at that. The future was always a unstable and uncertain thing no one could really predict how it would turn out. So many factors and decisions created by all of humanity and the supernatural world made the future forever changing and unpredtictable. She'd learned to accept that and lived her life for the present taking it one day at a time. Going to Japan had become a sort of anniversary trip for the couple since it was where they had met first when her husband was a Magi in training trying to learn and study their langauge to benefit his magic spells more. She came to the spa often with her friends but being here with her daughter made it more special for the two and allowed them to really bond again as mother and daughter like they used to before Aurora was shipped off to school abroad. Talking about Sheba and her mother was never a pleasant subject for her considering the falling out she had before being expelled from the nest child taken from her. She loved her mother she truly did and had forgiven her long ago but her mother still refused any contact with her and still wanted Sheba to have nothing to do with her. "Maybe someday we will make peace with each other but I can't hate her entirely for that. It taught me to be more mature and careful and a better mother when I had you," Reshira replied as she slipped in next to her daughter. Then she went on about her story and smiled as Aurora seemd impressed by it. When her father's father was brought up though she sighed and ruffled Aurora's hair a little now. "Even I don't know much about that myself. They had a falling out like I did with my mother. It's the reason your father is so stubborn and obsessed with his work like he is. He feels like if he fails he'll be ridiculed and mocked by his father for faliling just like he said he would he's afraid of his father being right but he isn't your father is a good and amazing man," Reshira spoke again now wrapping an arm around Aurora's waist now. "Most of all he's hard on you because he doesn't want to seem like a failure to you he wants to be a father your proud of," Reshira added kissing Aurora's forehead before resting her own against hers now. "Not really baby you both belong together now there's no one better for you than Dashy-kins and and there's no one better for him than you," Reshira simply replied ruffling her short hair a little now. "I really miss your longer hair baby," she said her short hair gave her a rather tomboyish look sometimes.

Reshira loved her daughter too much to ever abandon her like that and would never force her out of the nest until she felt she was truly ready to do so and she felt now that she was finally ready to do so. Her father loved her just as much and always said she had a home here with them if she needed it she'd always be welcome here and any children she might have in the future would be too as well. Of course occasionally she butted heads with her daughter too since she liked to nag her a little like her father did about certain things but she loved her all the same and would always be there for her to support her through anything. "I'm glad you think so baby and I have confidence in myself more this time around," she replied smiling sheepishly at that. Then she chuckled a little as she felt her stroke her stomach a little now of course she would bring up that. Aurora always had a fear of any blemish gracing her perfect and flawless skin she seemed to forget most things didn't effect her like it did human females. "Of course it had that effect on me but I bounced back pretty quickly nothing a little nip and tummy tuck couldn't fix it was almost like I never had a baby in the first place. In the end everything you go through it is worth it when you finally get to hold and lay eyes on your baby girl," Reshira replied ruffling Aurora's hair a little before kissing her forehead. She'd been so tiny and cried a lot then but before she knew it she was a toddler runnign away and screaming all the time and now she was a grown woman and Siren ready to get married and have her own family soon one day. "Unfortunately yes he has felt the same pain as I have and he'd much like that you wedding in the place of his own birth," she replied as she hugged Aurora closer to her now and nodded at that. "He'll always beat himself up for that but he promises to make it up to you by always be there in person for your sister," Reshira replied as she was then hugged and hugged her back more now resting her head atop hers now. "Then I suggest a little bonding time between the two and plenty of it before your wedding day arrives and trust me I know Dash truely loves you. The way he looks at you is like your the most important thing to him something he could never live without and would rather die than live without. He's your soulmate I just know he'll never abandon you unless someone takes him from you against his will or you from him." Reshira replied and well that's how she truly felt anyways and believed Aurora did as well Sirens could just tell good people from the bad and Dash had a pure soul despite what he had been cursed into becoming now.

Nothing irked Reshira more than bad parenting all this crap lately she couldn't really stand it. She loved Aurora deeply as any mother should their child but she was not above punishing her daughter and putting her in her place and Aurora seemed to respect that about her and her father at least that someone could put her in her place when needed to be. She was hardly perfect really but she put her all into anything and everything she did and that was enough to make her feel happy accomplished she couldn't be mad at herself if she failed knowing she gave it her all and one hundred perfect effort like with raising Aurora. "Well it was my first real pregnancy with your father and I was freaking out I might not return to normal so he suggested a little liposuction to get the baby weight off right away. You don't really have to worry about that you should be fine," she replied smiling sheepishly at Aurora in return right now. She just hoped Aurora would be stubborn enough and loved Dash enough to not cop out on him and decide not to have children she really hoped someday she would take that chance with him because nothing would truly bring them closer together as soulmates than knowing they created and raised an amazing child together and well she really wanted to be a grandmother someday so she could spoil her granbabies rotten too. "Well I'm not your father but I have my moments of great wisdom," she replied and smiled as she ruffled her hair a little. She'd been so hurt when Aurora said she hated her that day when she was shipped off it was like that day with her own mother all over again but then one day Aurora called her up crying and saying how she missed her so much and felt so bad for saying the things she did to her. Of course she forgave her and the two were closer ever since though it took longer to forgive her father but finally she had. "Well it's the only thing I can really think of to force a compromise with your father and Dash. He's afraid of losing his only child but Dash has to show him that you'll be in safe and loving hands," she replied and only Dash could be the one to do that he had to be stubborn enough to push past David's walls and make him see that he was a good man and a trustworthy one enough to allow Aurora to be with him.

"Not really most Sirens have natural births and dont go through what I did I was just impatient really," Reshira replied with a sheepish grin as Aurora gave her a skeptical look now. Really she was a little afraid like Aurora was of gaining that baby weight and then struggling to lose it but working out she realized she would've lost in no time and felt so bad for David wasting the money he did for her surgery to have the fat removed right away. She could have kids whenever David wanted them but she wasn't really sure she'd have anymore after him since she wasn't if she'd really find a mate as worthy as David was but she supposed only time would tell really all she knew really was it wouldn't be easy finding another good man who could love her like David or getting over the loss of David. She'd smile sheepishly at Aurora's comment she wasn't sure if it was a compliment or she was being sarcastic but she let it slide for now as she watched her move to get out now and get a massage like she had before and decided to get out herself and get a mask with the cucumbers applied before getting her nails and toe nails done. "Nothing can beat a good massage from this place not even sex I'm afraid if I told your father he'd insist on giving me massages himself I'm sure Dash would do the same if you told him," Reshira replied giggling a little bit now. Men could be so funny when they thought they were disappointing their wives somehow and always got jealous if other men gave them massages no that wouldn't do suddenly they'd become massage experts themselves so that they wouldn't have to go out to spas anymore if they could give them good enough massages it was cute really. She knew David didn't get too jealous but he didn't like most men staring at her too long and always found a way to subtly threaten them so that they did not do so again whether he was around or not and well usually he was always around he didn't let her stray too far from him he made sure someone was always with her like a boduguard or his own daughter she couldn't do anywhere alone always said it was too dangerous and for a siren he was probably right her voice wasn't so effective against some supernaturals really.

Reshira would smile sheepishly at that and nodded a little. She did tend to be a bit impatient sometimes but really not as much as Aurora's father. He had a short tempter when it came to being held up or being late he was far from pleasant then. Still he never really took that out on her or Bertram but he had occasionally towards Aurora but she was his daughter and he meant well by trying to teach her good morals and discipline of course as a kid she resisted a lot that was normal but in the end that had all worked out for her in the end and made her daughter a better person for it now. She probably overexaggeraing her pregnancy sometimes it really wasn't all that bad until the time came to actually push the baby out through a tiny hole it was like pushing a watermelong through something the size of a lemon. Once she had recovered fully she was quite happy and content with her baby girl and wouldn't mind having another and soon maybe she would finally it was all up to David really at this point if he said no again she had to accept and respect his decision. "Mmm mmm that he was and well he'd been alright he missed you deeply really. You sharing cookies with him was the highlight of his afternoons really he was depressed for a few days after you left," she replied sighing a little at that she knew what Aurora had done. She'd said something very hurtful to him before she left but he never hated her for it he was always in her room tidying it up and cleaning it clean and ready for her eventual return home. "He's a genie now baby there isn't anything he can't do for you now that he couldn't before you never know," Reshira replied a sheepish smile on her face now. Of course that is why she came here regularly at least every two weeks to get primmed up and made proper again so she could continue to look young and beautiful for her husband. He gave her pretty good massages too really but she could resist getting one here whenever she came it really did work wonders on her back and made her feel years younger again and that really was the best feeling in the world to her.
