Delvin Lion

Delvin was originally born a shifter in London, England. His mother Marion was a shifter who preferred the form of a Savannah Cat. His father Liam was a Magi of the Scarlet Council order. For some reason Delvin was the only sibling in his family to be born a shifer and not really a hybrid like his older sister and brother were faulty genetics were his father's excuses for it. Still he wasn't treated any lesser for it and really loved the ability to be able to shift into his favorite animal the komodo dragon once old enough and was a huge fan of dragons since he was like five years old. At that age it was his dream to ride and tame magical dragons so he could travel and explore the world beyond his home. He always struggled a little more growing up unlike his siblings learning to walk and talk took him a month longer than it did his siblings. Despite this he was more exceptionally intelligent than his older siblings were reading books a little more advanced instead of picture books when he was barely seven years old. He was so estatic to finally be able to start school when his parents allowed him to and he soon joined his brother in the second grade after being allowed to skip the first grade much to his older brother's annoyance leading him to begin to start bullying and picking on him bullying their sister as well whenever she tried to stand up for him. Delvin never really let it get him down for long and focused on his studies and before long he skipped another grade leading his brother to loathe and hate him entirely for making him look like an idiot when he struggled in his own studies and was picked on and made fun of by his own friends. His brother took his pranks and bullying to the extremes tricking Delvin into shifting only so he could trap him and lock him in a chest in the basement until their mother eventually made him free Delvin. It was during what could be considered by americans since he was british his highschool years that his parents suddenly got a divorce and his father moving away took his older brother and sister with him leaving Delvin with his mother. He felt fine at first but soon became rather depressed developing social anxiety among other issues after losing his siblings and came to fear losing anyone else like his friends making it hard for him to make new ones when he and his mother began moving around often to find a cheaper place to live. Still despite all that Delvin continued to excel in his studies and make the top grades gradutating in the top of his class earning the highest honors possible. Delvin then attended Oxford University at the age of twenty-one but he would never graduate when his father suddenly returned to see him one fateful day.

Reborn

Upon graduating Delvin was accepted immediately to Oxford and received many scholarships upon his graduation. He had gone there to study to become an archaelogist and had only been attending Oxford for about a few months before his father showed up and found him. When he spoke of a secret project he wanted to show Delvin he agreed to come with him during his holiday or vacation as Americans call it to come see it. It was then he was introduced to the Scarlet Council Order and told his father was offering him a chance of a lifetime when the truth was his father was losing his favor with the council after failure to find a cure for the dragons going insane though he never told Delvin this. Still his father offered Delvin the chance to become a dragon and be the savor for their species a means to cure them of the madness most seemed to suffer from because of the queen dragon. Estatic and wanting to make a real difference in the world Delvin accepted his offer. Delvin was not quite prepared for his near death experience a dragon goes through when first being born after the ritual is completed and the mixed magi and queen dragon's blood consumed. He managed to survive the ordeal but for a time as all new dragons do he suffered from night terrors and dreams of the old dragons and the queen. Eventually he overcame this though he still suffered from the occasional dream and vision of the old. Bound to his father he began his real training with other dragons so that he could become stronger and be ready for his true purpose.

Visions of Mariya

Delvin was progressing well and his training going smoothly he was well on his way to soon becoming more than just some drone. His father felt Delvin was ready for his real purpose his part in his father's real goal and plan. He wanted to empower Delvin more make him stronger quicker as well and so he brought out a old dragon from stasis who was killed after he went insane by another dragon. He was skeptical about the purpose of this ritual and why his father wanted him to do this but reminded of his purpose to become a cure and hope for other dragons he relented and fed off the remains of this dragon. He soon found himself losing his sanity again his dreams and visions of the old returning to him stronger than before but this time he also found memories of another invading his dreams of a dragon couple it seemed. They seemed so happy this Mariya and whoever he was since it was like he was seeing through someone else's eyes now. They'd had a family it seemed but then one day he just left as a madness seemed to consume him and eventually this Mariya his wife he guessed found him and after a heartfelt and touching moment she killed him and then' hed wake up panting hard and sweaty it always felt so real to him but it couldn't be could it? He wasn't really sure if it was memories of just new visions but why he saw those particular one he wouldn't know and asking his father he would simply tell him it was a side effect of consuming another dragon's essence and memories which became a part of him. In the end though after much experimenting his father failed to make much more progress and abandoned the project assigning Delvin to a different Archmagi.

Present Day

Bound to a new Archmagi Delvin found himself moving to New York City suddenly. It helped him a lot to keep sane being bound to a more powerful Magi and Arch at that but he still suffered from these memories or visions of this other dragon and his love Mariya. Once in New York City he was able to attend college again and got his bachelor's in photography and easily got a job for the New York Times newspaper. He spent several years at this job before he got a job at more prestige photography company and soon found himself taking picture shoots for various celebrities and the rick of New York City. Sadly though not long after getting this job the archmagi he was bound to passed away suddenly. He feared losing his job and being forced to move but when the new archmagi of New York City was assigned a magi named David Xanatos he was reassigned to be bound to him and serve him at his side. He continues to work at his daytime job as a photographer for celebrities in New York City but his real job is being a Dragon Seeker for the Scarlet Council.
