It's been two months since Bethany officially opened Enchanting Elements' catering system and she has been driving herself crazy ever since. She kept getting calls for reservations and already had served five events. She just finished setting up for a sixth. Luckily this one didn't require her to stay there, so she had a few hours before she had to go back to supervise the clean-up since some of the items weren't disposable. For now, however, she had some much needed free time and she planned to take advantage of it. Too bad she wasn't sure what to do.
She hadn't had much free time in the past three months. It made starting hard to figure out. And she was actually off tomorrow. So she had more time then, but today she only had until six o'clock and she didn't want to get lost in time. She could just entrust her clean-up crew to do things on their own, but the catering end of E2 was still new and Beth didn't want anything to get screwed up. She quite a perfection and since Enchanting Elements was her foster mother's pride and joy, the young woman was obsessed with trying to make her proud even though Briar had been dead for a while.
In the end, Beth decided to just walk around Central Park. She liked being outside and Central Park was one of her favorite spots in the entire city. She would sit and people watch and pretend she hadn't spent her life bouncing around foster families. It was one of the things she hated about her upbringing.

He was close now he could feel it the end of the trail was almost there and at the end of it he would hopefully find his brother safe and sound. Garrett would curse himself though the Black Mambas were still on their trails though and wanted them dead for all they knew about their plans and the order. They'd nearly wiped out the White Fang Order and those who survived he could only wonder if they got away safe and sound like he and his brother had. He'd never give up until they had all been dealt with and were dead the Black Mamba order. He really had no idea how many members were left or how many they might've recruited at this point it was really just him against them which was more in his favor really they weren't as technologocially adavanced or smart with computers like he had come to be now. After fleeing that day he had tracked down several members to the United States before losing them all but one that had come to New York City and was running a pretty big security company for an unnamed benefactor a Black Mamba Master Assassin or the King himself he couldn't be certain until he broke into the place's network and dug around but that meant sneaking into the place himself and finding their servers where he could hack in directly. Las Vegas would have to wait for him and well he wasn't entirely sure his brother was even there he wouldn't know until he broke into this place to see what they knew about him as well. So today he found himself in Central Park laptop in hand as he sipped his latte a little now and licking his lips typed away on his laptop on a bench nearby as he explored the website for this security company trying to find potential targets that could get him into the place he'd already stolen copies of the blueprints needed so he was close to formulating a plan now. "I love it when a plan comes together." he said with a grin now soon he would be ready to strike and looked up to see a woman sit on the bench next to him now. He could tell she was a Magi at least but her magic seemed a lot weaker for some reason. He really didn't know much about shifters or the hybrids they could make with Magi that came to be called familiars. He'd smile and nodded to her before snapping his laptop shut and leaned back more into his bench now sipping more at his coffee now.

Beth wasn't really open around other supernaturals but she tried to be human for so long that she couldn't pinpoint one unless they told her what they were outright. She was so out of touch with her own abilities that she might as well be human. So for all she knew the man sitting beside her was human. She checked her phone and cursed as the screen remained black. She didn't even realize it needed to be charged. Sighing, she turned to the man.
“I don't mean to be a bother but my phone just died,” she said. “Could you possibly tell me what the time is?”
If she was late, she would die. Beth was a perfectionist and one heck of a workaholic. If anything went wrong, she had a tendency to freak out.

The three years ago the world he knew changed yet again and rather drastically too. All along it seemed more than just Magi and Vampires had always existed now werewolves and many Fae among other types existed now. He had to wonder what the White Fang Order would've thought about such news now. It wouldn't bode well with Black Mamba still around and their plan in action they really didn't know what they were in for now. He couldn't say he cared much for any supernatural out there not a Magi but he'd come to learn they weren't all bad. He'd worry about that thought later right now he had a bigger thought to worry about and that was infiltrating this place and inquiring the files and information he needed to track down more members of his enemies so he could bring them down once and for all. He'd look over as the woman seemed to curse herself over her phone and started to look away when she spoke to him it seemed her phone was dead and she wanted to know the time no doubt she was stressing out over some appointment now. "Not a bother really miss," he replied with a smile and fished into a pocket to pull his cell phone now. "It's a quarter past one if that helps." Garrett replied with a smile still before looking to his phone again. He had about nine hours to kill before he struck at this place as he planned to and they'd never see him coming until it was too late he thought with a grin now. "Nice day isn't? Sorry I didn't introduce myself it's Garrett Stone." he asked and spoke looking back to the woman again now.

Bethany smiled gratefully as he gave her the time. She had more time than she thought she did. That alone allowed her to relax a little. She was a punctual person even on her worst day, but she did enjoy a little down time. She was a workaholic, sure, but she knew her limits and knew how to balance it all out.
“Thank you,” she said politely. “I'm Bethany Owens. Umm, if you've ever been to Enchanting Elements I'm the owner. I also hate to ask, though but, if you plan to stay here long, would you mind letting me know when it hits about 3?”
She really didn't want to inconvenience the man, but she couldn't pass up a reachable clock. She hated being late and so she would do anything to keep that from happening. Even ask a complete stranger to sit around with her so she knew exactly when she had to leave.

It didn't escape Garrett's eyes howw a little tense she seemed about the time like she had a deadline to meet and didn't want to be late naturally because of it. There was a time when he was rather dense and clueless about some things until his brother took him to the White Fang Order. Now a master and deadly assassin nothing escaped his eyes unless he chose to ignore and noticed she seemed rather relieved when she had a lot more time for whatever it was to relax now. He supposed he could be called a workaholic he never dated much or spent time doing things not involved with his vendetta against the Black Mamba order. "Nice to meet you then Miss Owens. Can't say I've really heard of it been awhile since I came to New York City last it didn't seem as big as it does now," Garrett replied rubbing his chin a little in thought now. Course back when he first came to the United States everything seemed bigger to him than where he had lived in the past but this city had grown even more since then. "Sure I can tell you when the time comes wasn't really planning to go anywhere at the moment. Just enjoying the view and scenary a little for now." Garrett replied smiling softly at her now. She was beautiful he'd admit that much but he doubted either of them really had much time for anything outside of their work right now she seemed like a busy and important person right now as he felt he himself was to his cause.
