Personality
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Unaware of her power or any of what she is, Samantha Veradan is one of your typical high school students; she gets above average grades, goes to numerous after school activities, but in all she’s a very unsociable person. She prefers solitude and isolation to the busy, social events that occur in high school. Samantha, despite being involved in both martial arts and ballet, refuses to interact with any of her classmates outside of these events with causes quite a bit of irritation for her mother. Her father, however, understands she’s a more introverted person than her mother is, so she gets no grief from her father because of it.
When she actually interacts with other people, she’s normally quite quiet and reserved, and always thinks before she actually speaks. If the conversation goes sideways, it doesn't take long for Sam to lose her temper, and once that’s lost she is very vocal about her displeasure. It never actually comes to physical violence, though she’d most likely be able to kick the crap out of anyone who disagrees with her. Usually after these outbursts, however, it’s very likely she’ll apologize for going off on said target of her anger unless they’re that unpleasant.
Sam can be found in only a handful of locations, not really having many other places to be in. The primary location that she can be found, aside from the high school, is the Rosewood park, a place she likes to go and think about her life or anything else. She can also be found often in the Public Library as well, either checking out six books at a time to read or perhaps even bringing one she owns. Finally, the last place she can be found is, of course, her home; a rather sizable house in Harper Valley.

History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Aelia and her twin, Rae were the original Phoenixes created by Cronus, and one of the more... troublesome ones. She was volatile, strangely unfriendly compared to her twin hence why she was almost not chosen as a primary guard for the time stream. With help from her twin, Rae, she was able to make the cut and served proudly as a guard for the time stream. She'd be a loner, moreso than most other Phoenixes and didn't like working with other guards other than her own sister. Oddly enough, Aelia and Rae were actually the first Phoenixes created that was purely blue feathered and flamed and were quite unique in this aspect for a while until more were made.
She lived a fairly okay life, guarding the time stream with her sibling and the other Phoenixes. However, that was rather drastically changed when Cronus was dethroned, leaving the Phoenixes without a purpose until they fell into the hands of the Sun god, Helios. He, in turn, would assign them the job of guarding Olympus instead, something they did gladly as it gave them purpose. This job would be Aelia's for some time, at least until she got just as curious at the three that left first. She and her twin would also go to leave, though their journey wasn't like the other three. They were separated during the trip down there and ended up on separate parts of the human world in around 2,000 B.C. She ended up somewhere in southern Europe, what would later be Italy and Croatia.
Her first encounter with humanity would be rather negative, her physical form being around the age of 25 at this point. She stumbled upon a human village, naked as the day she was born and more confused about where she was than anything. The locals didn't respond well to her presence and as such she was chased out of the village rather swiftly, actually sustaining some injuries in the process. The language of her brethren would serve no use in the human world and, as such, she would take the time to stalk humans, learning their language from them that way. It was a long and tedious task, but when she finally managed to become proficient in the language, Aelia would once again visit a village and this time she isn't chased off. She becomes a ward of them and for a few years, she lives with them and hones her ability with their native tongue.
After maybe twenty years or so of that, however, she grows tired of the same landscape and leaves in the middle of the night. Aelia uses her bird form in order traverse the Mediterranean Sea rather quickly, wanting to head south for some reason. She makes it to land in a few hours and she starts her journey of traveling what would be later called Egypt. She did similar things like how she did in the other area, though she stays her much longer, having a particular love of the heat in the country.
It was about two centuries after this that Aelia experienced her first rebirth as a shifting Phoenix. When she was reborn from her ashes as a baby ‘human’, she lost all of her memories for the first time. She grew up normally in an Egyptian servant’s household, though around the age of twenty, she became Awakened and the painful experience was so shocking, she nearly was knocked out from the process. With her renewed memories, she was once again on her way, and this time Aelia stays on the move, never staying in one place too long unless she was reborn. During the course of her life, she learns countless languages and experiences so many historical points in human history, most of them wars. It was this that made her dislike humans so much, wondering why they loved violence so much. Aelia’s adventures would eventually lead her to the United States, and near the end of her life, she ‘died’ just outside of the small town of Harper Valley.
Samantha Veradan, Aelia’s current life, was born on the 29th of December in the forests just outside of Harper Valley. Her father, being an avid nature fanatic, found her while studying the woods. He took her to the hospital and one thing led to another and he and his wife adopted her. As she grew up, because of the major downside to her ability she was unaware of her supernatural nature. She grew up believing and basically being human. She had an older brother, one about 6 years older than her named Erik. He was basically Sam’s shining light; wherever he went, she did her best to follow him. He was a loving brother to her and always there for his darling sister.
Growing up, Sam would show exceptional skill in reading literature as well as skills in dancing. She wanted to do martial arts, though, so a sort of middle ground for her mother, Meredith, would enroll her in both ballet as well as the classes for Martial arts. Sam excelled in both areas, and grew quickly in both areas. It because clear rather quickly for Meredith and Samuel that Samantha wasn't quite as sociable as other children; she actually outright refused to talk to them aside from having to in her extracurricular activities. Her mother’s efforts to change her daughter would work about as well as one expected; not at all. As she grew, Samantha would grow increasingly introverted, it being rare for her to talk to anyone even in her own family. Her brother, however, was always her confidante.
In the past month or so, she lost her brother tragically when they both were attacked by vampires. It was also then that Sam’s Awakening started and she actually managed to catch the two who went after them on fire with her blue flames. The two fled and left her with her dead brother and a deep fear of the supernatural. She’s never spoken to her parents since then, especially not about the fact that she summoned blue flames from nowhere. She currently is just shut off from anyone and everyone, more alone than ever with the loss of Erik.
