Power: Shape Shifting & Wings and Flight
Power Description: He received his Magik from his mother, the ability to shape shift, which he usually only sticks to one shape; that of his pet dog. And, like all demons and angels, was also born with his own set of wings, the color of mud. They allow him to fly and he can hide them in a form of a tattoo on his back.
Power Limits: He can only touch that which form he choose to shift into and he can only become an exact copy. And anytime his body and mind is weakened, whether it be pain, sleep, pleasure etc. he losses the shift, returning to himself. So he has to be careful what he's doing. His wings only allow for short periods of flight and he can't carry anything heavier than himself.

Personality
[attr="class","appcontent2"]Zander is almost the polar opposite of his mother. For one, her fiery temper can be easily prodded while Zander, has a cool and collected view on the world. It's very rare that he actually gets angry. His calm demeanor also comes with a great sense of humor, a natural leadership and popularity with friends. From instances in his child hood, many times, Zander had taken onto his own shoulders, the name of Beezlebub and influenced the human populace and ever since then, he'd been able to do it quite naturally, even without a Demi God. It started with being the head of his class in college and rising to the rank of detective shortly after joining the force. He was good looking, always got the hot girlfriend and always surrounded by friends; creating envy where ever he went. He has no idea if his mother even knows but he wants to believe she'd be proud. It wasn't that he was keeping his "work" to himself. His reasons for doing her work for her were his own and he doubted she'd understand. Unlike other demons, Zander doesn't seek humanities destruction. In fact, he's learned to co-exist with them, something he doesn't dare to admit to anyone. So, acting as a one man force, he's decided he doesn't want to see the Demi Gods released onto the world by feeding them their Sin and will put it off for as long as he can, hence, why he's taken his mother's real name and created chaos for her.
Besides his mother, Zander doesn't really associate with other demons. Zander grew up around human children and because of this, doesn't see them as anything other than his friends. He doesn't seek to destroy them. His lack of demon interaction as a child has a lot to do with the way he is today. He doesn't hate his brethren but he doesn't see a reason to jump on the bandwagon with the others.
If there's one way to describe a bad part of his personality, it's that he's an extreme adrenaline junkie. Be careful challenging him because he will never turn one down, even if it could potentially kill him. He's also very proud. Bringing him down a few notches might actually get him angry. He's overly confident and can sometimes come off as overbearing.

History
[attr="class","appcontent2"]
He'd been told to stay in his room but his natural curiosity had him sneaking the door open and tip toeing down the hall. At only four years old, Zander hadn't seen much of the world outside of his mother's house. Though he didn't require much nurturing or raising being a demon child, his mother had strictly told him to stay in the house while she was gone and he'd also obeyed what she said. Except this time. Technically, he wasn't leaving the house... He peered around the corner and got a face full of Angel scent and he found himself scrunching his nose. Often times, his mother had come home smelling like that but never had they been in the living room. It came from a woman who looked quite uncomfortable in the threshold. His mother, with all her power and influence, was sure to be the reason the angel felt uncomfortable. She stood rather close to the Angel with a threatening posture as the Angel spoke. "-feeding them with each human mind we influence. Sooner or later, Beezlebub, the Demi God's locked inside us will grow enough strength from this world to take over and destroy everything. We, who are destined to live eternity in this world, would be forced to live in desolation. We should be grateful of this mediocre world Mayaria has sent us to." Zander wasn't able to catch what his mother said but he saw the Angel flinch away from her. He knew his mother's displeasure for her mother the Goddess and needed no reassurance that she'd badmouthed the Goddess once more. But he didn't need to hear the rest of the conversation. HIs little heart beat wildly as the meaning of the Angel's words came over him. As a demon child, looking only four years was only for show. Even at his age, he was vastly more intelligent than human children and fully understood what the Angel meant. If his mother continued influencing the humans with her Envy, the Demi God concealed within her body would take control and his mother would be destroyed. He clenched his fists, green eyes glaring at the Angel. Hell if he would let that happen!
It was a part of American history that made the most suffering. And it was when Zander first put his plan into motion. Ever since learning that the more his mother influenced humans to feel envy the more she had a chance of setting free the Demi God inside her, he'd decided to take the "job" onto his own shoulders, just so the other Demon Lords didn't get suspicious if she wasn't working. He decided not to tell her, in case he ensued her wrath. So when the Great Depression hit, young Zander, now appearing the same age as a pre-teen, put his plan into action. He and his mother had never really experienced the suffering of the Great Depression. His mother had acquired a great wealth over the centuries and had lived quite the comfortable life. He made a point to wander through the slums wearing his nicest clothes and eating from the restaurants that were still open for business. It was simple acts that inspired envy in the humans who saw him and though Zander never really meant to hurt anyone, attempted to keep the influence at a minimum. He'd even managed to give a large tip to the restaurant owners which, much to his distaste, only managed to instill more envy in the owner's workers and the other patrons. When he was confronted out from of the restaurant and asked if he could spare a couple dollars, he acted on impulse, to hold his rouse. "Lord Beezelbub doesn't give charity." Zander had never had a reason to hate or love the humans as a child but during the Great Depression, he found himself beginning to pity them.
The sixties became the highlight of Zander's life. As a young demon, he found himself easily falling into the simple pleasures of life; sex, drugs and rock and roll. It had come on naturally, of course, his talent for music and he used it to his advantage. Just another reason to instill more envy in human minds. Still on acting on the intentions of corrupting human minds, he joined a band but refused to become big time. Sure, his mother probably would have loved it but he didn't care. He didn't like what he was doing but he had a duty and this was the best he felt like doing. Needless to say, his band wasn't unpopular. In fact, they did several tours and Zander found himself wrapped up in the world of groupies and hallucinogens. He lost himself in crowds, found friendship and even experienced love. While his feelings for humans increased for the better, the envy he created grew stronger.
As the lives of his friends slowly dwindled as they grew older, Zander found himself stepping into a new life, in a new place. He found himself drawn to the world of the Harvard Graduate and was easily accepted. Because of his natural leadership skills, his easy going nature and his good humor, Zander quickly found himself to become quite popular. He joined the forensic science department, interested in protecting the humans around him from themselves without actually revealing his true nature. But, the more he tried to pull away from the poison that was envy, it continued to follow him through college. He was top of his class, always had the hot girlfriend and threw the best parties. Naturally, he was envied by those who weren't his close circle of friends. It made it only worse when he graduated top honors and was quickly offered a job as a Detective in the city of New Orleans. Where his mother would flaunt her good luck among those who envied her, Zander was modest. Instead of throwing a huge party at his graduation, he only invited his closest friends and finally accepted the idea that he loved humans. Yes, they were simple minded and easily manipulated but they looked to the future with a smile on their faces. They swallowed their mistakes and moved forward without looking back. They longed for kinship and laughter and took advantage of every day they were alive. In all honesty, Zander found himself envying them.
Zander hadn't lived with his mother in years but when he was offered the job in New Orleans, he found himself standing on her doorstep with nowhere else to go. He'd always had a good relationship with his mother but because of what he was doing for her, he felt awkward. He still has no idea if she even knows but he's been keeping an eye on her, making sure she doesn't do anything too rash. With the high demon population in New Orleans, Zander has kept his human friends limited to only work acquaintances, hoping to not rile up the local demons. But he's always on edge. Something about this city isn't right and he has a feeling he's going to have to choose sides...
