His mother was a gentle woman and a brilliant Magi he was sure she didn't possess the knowledge of one attack spell she was far too sweet for that. She preferred to use her powers to help and heal As a child some of his family's income came from her healing people in a nearby town, but nobody could heal her when she got sick. David shrugged. "Reshira I don't expect you to be honest all the time every minute of the day that's would be selfish of me and I would be a fool for even thinking that you would." He said looking at her. "I love you Reshira and I know if you're keeping a secret from me it's because you know that secret might hurt me or Aurora." he said looking at her and then looking up at the sky. David shrugged. "You may be right, the Buddhists may be right. Hell for all I know every religion could be right, or none of them could guess I'll have to wait until I die to find out won't I?" He said smiling at his morbid sense of humor. "Anyway dear this has been rather nice, but there's a chill in the air and Archimedes is bound to be waking up right about now." he said signaling for the check.

Reshira was sure she would've his mother deeply like she was her own mother and liked to believe she would've been happy and approved of her being with David too since she made him so happy much more than he had been in the past after losing his mother. Maybe she was just trying to fill the void like that and having Aurora to make her forget about her mother and Sheba but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't. She missed Sheba and her own mother deeply now and really wished she could make amends with them one day when she felt she was ready to and that was why she finally had to tell Aurora and David about Sheba and her mother finally at last. "I love you too honey and well I know I just feel bad if I try to lie or hide secrets from someone. It was so hard y'know not to spoil things like Santa Clause for her and the Easter Bunny," Reshira replied smiling sheepishly at the last bit now. Of course every kid loved Santa who didn't but she was more obsessed with bunnies really and loved the Easter Bunny the most. Thankfully she grew out of holiday figures like that on their own course it was rather amusing when she suddenly said she was bored of them and into the next big girly trend like my little ponies or barbies. "Whose to say in the end my love," she simply replied with a soft smile directed towards him now. She wouldn't dwell on it too much since she was immortal but losing David someday did make her rather curious she did love him enough to consider one day just going with him into their next life together in whatever afterlife might await them. "Mmm yes I am rather tired after our bonding earlier and all this food settling in my stomach is making me sleepy," she replied a ligth yawn escaping her now as she smiled sheepishly at him now.

HIs mother would have liked Reshira may have found her a tad bit aggressive, but all in all he would have liked to think they would have gotten along together. David couldn't help, but laugh she was comparing hiding a previous child to hiding the truth about Santa Claus from their daughter those two weren't even in the same league. "The way you see the world never ceases to amaze me I guess that's why you make such a great artist." He said looking at his wife. "The moment you said yes was one of the greatest moments of my life." He said looking at her. He shrugged. "I'm not too worried about it." He said honestly as he paid the bill and stood up heading for the door. Their waiter bowing to them as they left. He went out the door the Valet bringing their car around. "Well this was certainly nice we should do this more often." He said as he climbed into the driver's seat of his baby. He turned it on as he then pulled out into the street and headed home. Bertram standing at the door welcoming them home. "I could never ask for a better friend." He said looking at Bertram. "Where would I be without you old friend?" He said Bertram simply smiled. "Probably half dressed living out of your office sir." David growled. "Very funny."
